Abstract

The potential risk of radioactive release to the environment and surrounding population can occur when there is a nuclear emergency, and nuclear preparedness planning is required for disaster mitigation. In preparedness planning, data is needed, one of which is demographic characteristics. Demographic information in site preparation can produce appropriate and efficient policy formulations because the number and density of the population, as well as the susceptible population, are known. The method used is secondary data collection, data verification, data processing, mapping, and analysis. This study aims to determine the demographic characteristics of the site vicinity. The study results show that the population density in 5 km radius area is 177 people/km2. In 2018, the total population was 5,199 people, the percentage of the male population was 50.3%, and the female population was 49.7%. The population aged ?20 years was 63.4%, 5-19 years old was 29.7%, and aged 0-4 was 6.9%. The projected population in 2047 is 6,523 people. The assumption is that in the event of a nuclear emergency, the emergency response considers the susceptible population. Evacuation of residents related to the emergency response can be carried out through 2 routes, namely through the South Singkawang District to the West Singkawang area, which is about 30 km from the site or through the Sungai Raya District to the Sungai Kunyit area, which is of about 26 km from the site.

Abstract

Abstract

School administrative governance plays a fundamental role in ensuring the sustainability and effectiveness of educational management. Well-organized administrative procedures function not merely as technical routines, but also as a strategic support system for decision-making, accountability, and quality educational services. This article aims to examine the role of school administrative governance in enhancing the effectiveness of educational management and to identify adaptive administrative practices in response to contemporary challenges. This study employs a qualitative approach through literature review and descriptive analysis of school administrative practices. The findings indicate that systematic, transparent, and collaborative administrative governance significantly supports overall school performance, enhances the professionalism of educational staff, and fosters an orderly and conducive school climate. These results emphasize that strengthening school administrative governance should be positioned as a strategic component in improving educational quality.

Abstract

In the current reality, it is found that students are only able to memorize theories and formulas without being able to apply them. This encourages research so that students are not only able to memorize theories, but are also able to relate and apply theories and formulas to their daily problems. The Jigsaw method was developed by Elliot Aronson and his colleagues and later adopted by Slavin and his friends. In practice, students are divided into small groups consisting of 4-5 members. Each group (team) consists of heterogeneous members, both gender, race, academic ability, and other social status. Academic materials are given to groups of students in the form of text; and each student is responsible for studying a part of the text or academic material. Furthermore, each student who is responsible for a certain section gathers to form a new group called the expert group. After each student gathered in the expert group finished discussing the topic according to their section, they returned to the home team to teach other students in their group about the material that had been studied in the expert group. After meetings and discussions were held in the home group, the students were evaluated individually regarding the material that had been studied. The author's previous research with the title still has not succeeded in exceeding the minimum score of 65 out of a score of 100, because it has only reached a score of 56.20. Therefore, this research needs to be continued. After taking the action 4 times, it turned out that there was an increase in the score, even though the minimum score target (65 out of a perfect score of 100) had not been met.

Abstract

College as one of the institutions engaged in education is expected to be able to produce graduates who are able to answer the challenges and needs of the market. To meet these demands, universities must be able to improve their ability to educate students so that they can meet the expectations of stakeholders. This study aims to determine whether the Academic Service, Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) and Practicum in the electrical engineering study program have been able to meet expectations and provide satisfaction to students. The benefits of the results of the research are expected to provide an overview of the results of the measurement process which can later be used to improve service quality continuously so as to meet student expectations.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve achievement in the National Science Olympiad (OSN) Mathematics through collaborative engagement between teachers and students in Malang Regency. The primary challenges identified include the lack of structured training programs, limited intensive mentoring by teachers, and insufficient competition simulations, which negatively affect students’ academic preparedness and psychological readiness. To address these issues, the program was implemented using integrated methods, including teacher workshops, intensive classes for students, collaborative discussion forums, competition simulations, and evaluation and monitoring based on statistical testing. The implementation emphasized strengthening teachers’ roles as active mentors while empowering students through targeted exercises aligned with authentic OSN competition contexts. Teachers were trained to design innovative mentoring strategies, develop problem-solving frameworks, and provide systematic feedback. Meanwhile, students participated in intensive training sessions and simulated competitions to enhance conceptual understanding and resilience under competitive pressure. The results demonstrate improved teacher competencies in developing effective coaching strategies, as well as increased readiness among junior and senior high school students in solving complex mathematical problems and managing competition-related stress. Beyond individual skill enhancement, the program fostered a collaborative, participatory, and sustainable learning ecosystem. Furthermore, this initiative contributes to improving mathematics education quality in Malang Regency by offering a structured coaching model that can be replicated in other schools and regions.
