Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pembelajaran melalui STEAM berbasis loose parts  yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini kelas B PAUD Ar-Rohmat kecamatan Binuang. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 11 anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas oleh  Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart yang meliputi empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini  terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 kali pertemuan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian  ini adalah analisis data kualitatif, kuantitatif, dan kesimpulan verifikasi. Analisis data kualitatif diperoleh dari  penggunaan lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan anak. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan analisis dengan  menghitung skor rata-rata pemahaman anak dari pra siklus, siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan  adanya peningkatan kreativitas anak usia dini melalui pembelajaran STEAM berbasis loose parts, dapat dibuktikan  ketuntasan kreativitas pra intervensi sebesar 30%. Kemudian meningkat pada siklus I sebesar 40% dan siklus II sebesar  80%.

Abstract

Jasturi, 2024 was motivated by the problem of reading ability in Kober Anugrah, Binuang District, Serang Regency which was still not optimal. So the researcher wanted to improve reading ability by creating a thesis title "Efforts to Improve Reading Ability Through Letter Card Games in Children Aged 5-6 Years in Sukamampir Village, Binuang District, Serang Regency" The purpose of this study was to see an increase in reading ability through letter card games and to improve reading ability through letter card games in children aged 5-6 years in Kober Anugrah. The research time was Tuesday, July 30, 2024 in Kober Anugrah, Binuang District, Serang Regency. The research subjects in Kober Anugrah were 8 children out of 5 girls and 3 boys, the objects of the research assisted by 4 teachers. The instruments used were assessment of observation data analysis, interviews and questionnaires. The method used was Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles and consisted of 10 meetings, each cycle consisting of 4 activities, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this study showed that the average reading ability in cycle 1 was 31 children who had not developed or 77.5%, 6 children who had started to develop or 15%, 3 children who were developing according to expectations or 7.5%, while in cycle 2 the number of children who had not developed or 3 could be 7.5%, 15 children who had started to develop or 37.5%, 20 children who were developing according to expectations or 50%, 2 children who were developing very well or 5%. So it can be concluded that with the implementation of the letter card game, children are invited to play arranging the alphabet A-Z letter cards, children are invited to mention the letters A-Z, children are invited to group vowels and consonants, and to compose syllables and words. So that the reading ability of children aged 5 to 6 years in Kober Anugrah, Sukamampir Village, Binuang District, Serang Regency can increase according to expectations and develop very well.

Abstract

This research aims to explore vocabulary introduction methods for 5-6 year old children and to analyze the correlation between the use of Diva Series animation videos and English vocabulary acquisition at PAUD BKB KEMAS Al-Hidayah, Ciagel Village, Kibin District, Serang Regency). A descriptive qualitative research method was employed to study existing problems and periodic work procedures. Based on the research findings, it was discovered that several children at PAUD BKB KEMAS Al-Hidayah were able to pronounce some English vocabulary. They acquired this vocabulary through watching YouTube videos. Children who already knew English vocabulary appeared more confident. PAUD BKB KEMAS Al-Hidayah utilized animation media in learning activities for English vocabulary introduction, with the Diva Series animation being one of the primary choices. This animation was considered to have great potential as a learning tool for early childhood English language, helping children develop vocabulary in a fun and effective manner

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar is a government program that provides opportunities for university students to engage in off-campus learning for one semester by becoming partners of teachers in innovating creative and innovative learning strategies and models in targeted schools. These schools are generally identified as having low scores on the Minimum Competency Assessment (Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum/AKM). This study aims to describe the implementation of literacy and numeracy programs within Kampus Mengajar. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data analysis conducted using the Miles and Huberman model. The research subjects were fifth-grade students from two elementary schools in Lebak Regency, Banten. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. The findings indicate that the Kampus Mengajar program benefits students, teachers, lecturers, and schools, particularly in improving students"™ literacy and numeracy AKM scores compared to the previous year. Furthermore, the program highlights the need for continued mentoring, especially for students with special needs and those who still face difficulties in reading and arithmetic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan motorik kasar pada anak usia lima sampai enam tahun yang memiliki hasil stimulasi rendah. Salah satu yang dapat digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar yaitu menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis lokomotor. Kemampuan lokomotor merupakan kemampuan seseorang untuk melakukan gerakan dasar, seperti melompat, berjalan, meluncur, berlari dan lainnya. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan motorik anak usia lima sampai enam tahun melalui model pembelajaran berbasis lokomotor. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah sepuluh anak yang terdiri dari enam anak perempuan dan empat anak laki-laki. Kemampuan anak yang dapat ditingkatkan adalah kemampuan berlari, berjalan dan melompat diantaranya pembelajaran walk the pattern, move the ball dan jumping. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu memberikan gambaran anak yang dikategorikan belum berkembang berarti anak yang belum bisa sama sekali melakukan gerakan pada masing-masing indikator gerakan motorik sehingga masih harus dilatih secara intensif oleh guru. Anak dengan kriteria berkembang artinya sudah bisa melakukan gerakan motorik namun masih perlu bimbingan guru dengan metode scafolding. Pada anak dengan kriteria berkembang sesuai harapan artinya sudah bisa melakukan gerakan motorik tanpa instruksi atau bimbingan dari guru.

Abstract

Physical motor development is an important factor in the overall development of an individual, therefore teachers are able to improve children's gross motor skills by doing various activities that can stimulate and develop gross motor skills. This study aims to reveal the role of traditional games to improve children's gross motor skills. The subjects of this study were 14 students aged 5-6 years consisting of 7 boys and 7 girls. The methodology in this study used classroom action research which included four stages, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection carried out in two cycles. The results of this study concluded that the gross motor skills of early childhood can be developed through traditional rubber jump rope games by fulfilling several indicators, namely children are able to maintain body balance, can maintain body strength while playing, and can play agilely.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in storytelling ability in children aged 5-6 years at Al  Muhajirin Kindergarten, Tunjung Teja Subdistrict through the use of puppet stages and to find out how the use of  puppet stages in an effort to improve storytelling ability in children aged 5-6 years at Al Muhajirin Kindergarten,  Tunjung Teja Subdistrict. The population in this study included all students aged 5-6 years at Al Muhajirin  Kindergarten as many as 13 students. With data collection techniques using oral tests and interviews. The results of this  study indicate that the storytelling ability of children aged 5-6 years at Al Muhajirin Kindergarten, Tunjung Teja  District has increased after using puppet stage media. In Cycle I, learning outcomes showed a number of children in the  developing category, with total achievement increasing from before the action. However, these results have not met the  specified criteria, so improvements are needed in Cycle II. In Cycle II, the observation results showed further  improvement, with a good achievement category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of parental involvement on early childhood development through a case study on a group of children in one of the early childhood education institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that active involvement of parents, both in educational, emotional, and social aspects, has a significant influence on cognitive development, language, motor, and character of children. Factors such as frequency of interaction, quality of communication, and emotional support have been shown to contribute positively in shaping children's behavior and abilities. These findings confirm the importance of collaboration between parents and educators in creating an environment that supports optimal child development.
