The aims of the This study aims to describe the application of the inquiry learning model, to improve learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class V SDN 07 Belakang Balok Bukittinggi. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). Using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects in this study were the teacher and 38 students in class V SDN 07 Belakang Balok Bukittinggi. The results showed an improvement. In the first cycle, the planning observation results were 79.16% (B) increased in the second cycle to 94.4% (A). The results of observations of aspects of the teacher cycle I, 79.6% (B) increased in cycle II, 90.6%. The results of the observation of student aspects in the first cycle, 78.1% (B) increased in the second cycle to 90.6% (A). The average assessment of student learning outcomes in the first cycle at the knowledge value of 77.7 increased in the second cycle to 89.8, while in the first cycle of skills assessment, 72.6 (B) increased in the second cycle to 89.01.

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of the integrated thematic learning process by using the inquiry learning model in class IV SDN 05 Percobaan Bukittinggi. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects were teacher and 29 students of grade IV SDN 05 Percobaan City of Bukittinggi. The results showed the value of planning the first cycle learning 79.54% and increasing the second cycle 93.18%. The observations of aspects of the first cycle teacher 81.24% and 93.75% increased the second cycle. The results of observations of aspects of students in the first cycle were 79,68% and the second cycle increased 93.75%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that by using inquiry learning models can improve the integrated thematic learning process.

This study aims to describe the use of the Discovery Learning model to improve the integrated thematic learning process in the fifth grade of SD N 05 Bandar Buat Padang. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) that uses a qualitative and quantitative approach. Conducted in two cycles, with three meetings covering four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were researchers, teachers, and fifth grade students of SD N 05 Bandar Buat Padang, totaling 27 people. The results of the study were: (1) the percentage of lesson plan observation was 78.12%, an increase of 93.75%. (2) Teacher activities 79.7%, an increase of 90.6%. (3) Student activities 79.7%, an increase of 90.6%.

This research was motivated by not maximizing student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class V of SD Negeri 01 Belakang Campago Ipuh, Bukittinggi City. The purpose of this study is to describe an increase in learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning with a portfolio model in class V of SD Negeri 01 Belakang Campago Ipuh, Bukittinggi. The type of research is PTK using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Student learning outcomes in cycle I 72.5 increased to 92 in cycle II. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of comprehension reading skill by using Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model for fifth grade students of SDN 08 Kota Padang. Research subjects were teachers as observers, researchers, and fourth graders as many as 26 people consisting of 12 men and 14 women. In the first cycle, I obtained an average value of preread 48.6, an average value of reading 56.3, and an average value of post-reading 64.5. In cycle II the average value of preread 80.3, the average value of reading 89.9, and the average value of 85.3 post-reading. Thus reading comprehension with model CIRC can improve in class V SDN 08 Kota Padang.Keywords: reading comprehension, cooperative integrated reading and composition.

The purpose of this research is to description skill enhancement in change poetry into prose form by used somatic, autiotori, visual, and intellectual (SAVI) model to VI grade elementary school. The research type is PTK by used quality and quantity approach. This research was implemented in SDN 35 Padang City with total 20 students which consist of 9 male student and 11 female student. The score of changing poerty into prose in each pre writing phase in cycle I 76,87 (B), increase in cycle II 90,6 (SB), writing phase in cycle I 68,75 (C) increase in cycle II 90,4 (SB), and on post writing phase cycle I 71,2 (C) increase in cycle II 89,6 (SB). Abstract The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in social studies learning by using Cooperative Laerning Model Type STAD in class V SDN 04 Sungai Naning. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were 20 grade V students at SDN 04 Sungai Naning. The results showed an increase in terms of a) RPP in cycle I was 74.99% and cycle II was 92.85%, b) Implementation in the aspect of teachers in cycle I was 76.78% and cycle II was 92.85% while the implementation of aspects of students cycle I was 76.78% and cycle II was 92.85%, c) Student learning outcomes in cycle I were 79.84% and cycle II was 89.70%. Thus, the Cooperative Learning Type STAD model can improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning in class V SDN 04 Sungai Naning Keywords: IPS, STAD Cooperative Type Model.

The aims of the research is describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning process using inquiry learning strategies in elementary school. This classroom action research using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The subject of the research consist of teacher and 32 students that is use 2 cycle. Cycle I is use twice meeting and cycle II is use onetime meeting the cycle is use four stages that is plant, implementation, observation, and reflection. The result of planning observation in cycle I is 79,16% (B) and it increase to be 94,44% (A) in cycle II. The result of teacher aspect observation in cycle I is 79,68% (B) and it increase to be 93,75% (A) in cycle II. The result of student aspect observation in cycle I is 76,56% (B) and it increase to be 93,75% (SB) in cycle II. The learning outcomes in cycle I is 75,07(C) and it increase to be 88,15 (A) in cycle II. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of students' speaking skills with a strategy of describing in class V SDN 09 Air Tawar, Padang City. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) using a qualitative approach. This research was carried out at SDN 09 Air Tawar, Padang City with a total of 27 students consisting of 11 male students and 16 female students. The observations of the learning design in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of success of 90.67% increasing in the second cycle to 96.87%. Then the results of observations on the activities of teachers in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of success of 75% increased in the second cycle to 89.28%. Furthermore, the results of observations on the activities of students in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of success of 78.57% and increased in the second cycle to 92.85%.
