Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the strategy carried out by the Medan Orphan House in channeling zakat infaq alms funds. The author found several problems that occurred when distributing zakat infaq alms funds, namely the uneven distribution of zakat infaq alms funds where distribution was only given to those who really needed it, but there were people who cheated so they could get help. The author uses the field observation method in his research by using interviews and documentation. The results in this study indicate that implementing the strategy is the key to success in channeling ZIS funds. The strategy implemented by Laznas Rumah Yatim in channeling ZIS funds for the welfare of the community includes distribution targets, distribution objects, planning for zakat distribution and methods for distributing zakat. The results of the study show that the Medan Orphanage has succeeded in distributing zakat, infaq, alms funds to mustahik in need.

Abstract

Users of OVO financial technology have not been evenly distributed, including among students of Islamic Business Management Faculty of Islamic Religion Semester VIII T.A 2021/2022, Then there is a lack of understanding of students in using OVO financial technology and students feel there is no need when using OVO financial technology so that this study aims to determine the factors anything that can influence student decisions in using OVO financial technology. In this study, the researcher uses quantitative research which will find knowledge that uses data in the form of numbers as a way of finding information about what they want to know. A quantitative approach was chosen to explain the effect of student interest in using OVO financial technology. The results of this study explain that workload, compensation, commitment have a positive and significant effect simultaneously (simultaneously) on the decisions of Sharia Business Management Students, Faculty of Islamic Religion, UMSU semester VIII using financial technology OVO. This can be seen from the multiple linear regression analysis through the F test which is positive with an Fcount value of 228.638 with a Ftable value of 3.18 with a significant level of 0.000. Confidence, lifestyle and promotion factors simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the decisions of Islamic Business Management Students Faculty of Islamic Religion UMSU semester VIII uses financial technology OVO. The most dominant variable influencing the decision of Islamic Business Management Students, Faculty of Islamic Religion, UMSU semester VIII to use OVO financial technology is lifestyle factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui motif,sistem pembayaran, dampak, dan pengalaman mahasiswa Manajemen Bisnis Syariah FAI UMSU dalam menggunakan Shopee Paylater dipandang dalam perspektif fiqih muamalah. Penelitian ini didasari karena belum adanya keseragaman hukum dalam pengharaman Paylater,adanya indikasi perilaku konsumtif pada penggunaan Shopee Paylater, motif mahasiswa yang berbeda-beda dalam menggunakan Shopee Paylater,dan kurangnya pengetahuan mahasiswa mengenai layanan Shopee Paylater.Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan fenomenologi.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa motif mahasiswa Manajemen Bisnis Syariah FAI UMSU menggunakan Shopee Paylater  yaitu   transaksi yang mudah, membantu memenuhi kebutuhan mendesak, mudah memenuhi keinginan, serta agar bisa mendapat promo,potongan harga, dan gratis ongkos kirim, berdasarkan perspektif fiqih muamalah,manfaat yang diperoleh mahasiswa Manajemen Bisnis Syariah FAI UMSU dari adanya penggunaan Shopee Paylater adalah riba, sedangkan kerugian yang dirasakan  seperti konsumtif, boros, ketagihan dan terkadang menyesal dengan pengeluaran akibat membayar transaksi Shopee paylater tersebut, dipandang dalam perspektif muamalah itu adalah risiko yang harus diterima mereka karena sudah tau dampaknya.Sistem pembayaran pada Shopee Paylater dimana transaksinya terdapat bunga sebesar 2,59 % dan denda sebesar 5 % dari total tagihan apabila  terlambat.Jadi,transaksi yang dilakukan mahasiswa Manajemen Bisnis Syariah FAI UMSU dalam menggunakan Shopee paylater berdasarkan perspektif fiqih muamalah terdapat unsur riba.

Abstract

Wabah pandemi covid 19 saat ini menjadi permasalahan yang cukup serius harus diselesaikan dengan tujuan agar masyarakat Indonesia bisa menjalani aktivitas sehari-hari.Di Provinsi Sumatera Utara sendiri dapat kita jelaskan bahwa jumlah pasien yang positif terjangkit berjumlah 20.403. Dari jumlah tersebut 17.654 orang dinyatakan sembuh. Angka pasien sembuh itu bertambah 89 orang dari hari sebelumnya.Selain itu terdapat 732 pasien positif Corona yang meninggal dunia. Dengan permasalahan covid 19 ini sebagai organisasi Muhamadiyah yang selalu memberikan nilai sosial kepada warganya haruslah mempunyai sebuah kontribusi yang bermanfaat setelah pasca pandemic covid 19. Salahsatu kontribusi yang harus diperjuangkan yaitu mempergunkan koperasi Muhammadiyah dengan baik dalam membangun perekonomian umat di Kecamatan Pegajahan.Dengan demikian, sebagai harapan baru marilah kita gerakan sebuah pembinaan dalam koperasi Muhammadiyah untuk membangun semangat kembali dalam kemajuan ekonomi, mulai dari kebutuhan pangan, sumber kehidupan dan lapangan kerja yang bermanfaat.

Abstract

Al-amal wa al-sana is a concept in Islamic economics that refers to the principles of work and productivity in achieving prosperity and social welfare. This concept emphasizes the importance of hard work and productive efforts in meeting the necessities of life and building a prosperous society. The meaning of al-amal wa al-sana in Islamic economics can be analyzed from the point of view of the Qur'an and Sunnah. The Qur'an teaches that humans must work hard and productively to meet their needs and build a just and prosperous society. Sunnah also provides concrete examples of the importance of hard work and productivity in achieving prosperity and well-being. In practice, the concept of al-amal wa al-sana can be implemented in various economic aspects, such as industrial development, trade, agriculture, and other sectors. In Islamic economics, this concept is also related to the principles of justice and equity in the distribution of results and the management of economic resources. However, in its application, the concept of al-amal wa al-sana also needs to pay attention to the current social, cultural and economic context as well as other existing interpretation approaches. Thus, an accurate and relevant understanding of the concept of al-amal wa al-sana in Islamic economics can be produced which can be used as a guide in developing a sustainable and just economy today. and contemporary economics and other existing interpretation approaches. Abstract

Maslahah al Mursalah and Istishlah are two important concepts in Islamic law that are often used in sharia economic practices. Maslahah al mursalah refers to the general benefit which is recognized by the scholars but there is no specific syar'i argument that shows this. Istishlah, on the other hand, refers to the fundamental public interest that cannot be accommodated by existing law or there is no syar'i argument that shows how to handle the situation. In Islamic economic practice, maslahah al mursalah and istishlah are used to determine the right legal solution in situations that are not regulated by Islamic law. For example, in the practice of Islamic finance, maslahah al mursalah can be used to determine investment policies that are profitable for society in general. Istishlah, on the other hand, can be used to determine policies that protect the public interest in situations that are not regulated by existing law. However, the use of maslahah al mursalah and istishlah in sharia economic practices must be carried out with caution and must not conflict with basic Islamic values. In addition, the use of these two concepts must be based on a correct and comprehensive understanding of Islamic law. Overall, maslahah al mursalah and istishlah are important concepts in Islamic law that can be used in sharia economic practices to determine appropriate policies in situations that are not regulated by existing law. However, the use of these two concepts must be done with caution and must not conflict with basic Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implications of applying ushul lughawiyah principles to understanding the verses of the Qur’an about the economy. The research method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through the analysis of various literature related to ushul lughawiyah principles and verses of the Qur’an about economics. The results of the research show that the application of ushul lughawiyah principles in understanding the verses of the Qur’an about the economy has important implications for understanding the meaning and messages contained in these verses. The ushul lughawiyah rule helps in identifying the meanings contained in the verses of the Qur’an about the economy and explains how these verses can be applied in a modern economic context. Some of the rules of ushul lughawiyah that are relevant in this context include the rules of takrir al-ma’ani, the rules of al-taqsir, the rules of al-istishab, the rules of al-istihsan, and the rules of al-mafhum. Through the application of these principles, important meanings can be identified in the verses of the Qur’an about the economy, such as the importance of investing, avoiding usury, maintaining equality in trade, and doing good in business. Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the relationship between developments of social welfare through the Islamic social security system to create balance in human life. Based on a literature study using qualitative analysis, we try to describe how the instruments of the Islamic social security system can be contributed to the development of the social and economic welfare of Muslims. Islam emphasizes two key factors in the balance of development, namely the development of natural resources and human resources. These two factors will be able to balance between the physical and spiritual, worldly life and hereafter, material and spiritual, which presents present a certainty in the form of goodness (al-shalâh) and happiness (assa'adah). In implementing the principle of balanced development, Islam offers a social security system that creates service to fellow-beings, obligations to society, self-help and collective action for the common good by emphasizing the principles of dignity of person, equality of man and the welfare of humanity. So that the existence of individuals, society and governments have a legal and moral obligation to take care and fulfil the needs of the poor and needy sections of the society irrespective of their faith and relationship with donor

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of zakat organizations in LazisMu and LazisNU in empowering mustahik. This research focuses on the two main zakat organizations in Indonesia, LazisMu and LazisNU, which come from Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama. The role of LazisMu and LazisNU in managing zakat funds, distributing to mustahik, and implementing empowerment programs. This research uses a qualitative approach by using literature study as the main method. The results show that transparency and accountability in zakat management are essential to maintaining public trust. Zakat is not only responsible for managing and distributing funds, but also for bringing about social and economic change. There is evidence that LazisMu and LazisNU are actively implementing Mustahik empowerment programs. These programs include business capital, skills training, educational support, and health support. More than that, this research also found some problems such as transparency, accountability, and sustainability of the programs, although they are successful in various aspects. Therefore, this research provides a basis for exploring how zakat organizations can overcome these problems to achieve the goal of Mustahik empowerment. This research is expected to provide useful information for related parties, academics and practitioners in an effort to improve the role of zakat management organizations in helping disadvantaged people

Abstract

This study aims to determine management in improving institutional quality at the Central of Jagaan Bestari Impian Bukit Mertajam. The research method used is qualitative, with a type of field approach. Data collection techniques were used, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis in this study used the interactive model of Miles & Huberman, with research starting from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification, and narration of conclusions. Data validity techniques use extended observations and reference materials. The high quality of teachers and staff, efficient management, cooperation with parents/guardians and the community, and attention to children's health and safety are the main factors that support the development of children in this care center. With continuous monitoring and evaluation, the center can continue to improve its services and have a greater positive impact on children and the community
