Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memahami nilai filosofis dan makna dari tari dampeng sebagi identitas budaya suku Singkil melalui media audiovisual. Penelitian ini mengkaji keraifan lokal Indonesia melalui video Tari dampeng untuk pemelajar asing dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran BIPA di tingkat madya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik rekam dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi setiap kelompok pemelajar BIPA dapat mengulang gerakan tarian dampeng yang dapat dilihat dari hasil rekam yang dilakukan oleh peneliti. Kemudian pemelajar juga mampu mengutarakan langkah-langkah penari dalam melakukan tarian serta mampu mendeskripsikan dan menyampaikan tujuan tari dampeng dan makna dari setiap gerakan tari dampeng. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran BIPA bermuatan kearifan lokal tari dampeng melalui media audiovisual sangat efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa untuk mengasah keterampilan berbicara pemelajar asing. Tari ini pertama kali ditarikan tahun 1986. Singkil banyak didatangi berbagai etnis misalnya, pak-pak, karo, jawa, gayo, alas dan minangkabau

Abstract

This article was written with the aim of describing the use of quizizz learning media in teaching vocabulary to intermediate BIPA learners. The method used in the study is a qualitative and descriptive research method with a gamification learning method (Gamification Method). Data were collected through observation, test results, and questionnaires distributed to learners after the learning process. The process of utilizing quizizz learning media consists of three stages, namely the design or preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. Based on the results of the learning evaluation carried out, it was found that the use of quizizz learning media in teaching vocabulary to intermediate BIPA learners was carried out well, which can be seen from the learning outcomes and points obtained during the quiz. This can also be seen from BIPA learners who have mastered vocabulary well and are able to write vocabulary into sentences. Therefore, it can be concluded that quizizz learning media is effective in teaching vocabulary to intermediate BIPA learners.

Abstract

The ability to develop Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions is a critical competency emphasized in the Merdeka Curriculum, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at the elementary level. However, the literacy of PAI teachers in designing HOTS questions remains low in the Simeulue Tengah District. This study aims to assess PAI teachers' literacy in formulating HOTS questions, their participation in Teacher Working Groups (KKG), and the main barriers to effective KKG utilization. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using both open- and close-ended questionnaires distributed to 12 PAI teachers from 10 elementary schools. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings indicate that although 66.7% of teachers found the KKG beneficial for developing HOTS questions, participation levels were low: 58% rarely attended KKG activities, and only 25% felt significantly supported. The main barriers identified include time constraints due to workload and household responsibilities, minimal support from principals and supervisors, limited access to resources such as digital media and contextual teaching materials, low teacher awareness of the benefits of KKG, and training sessions that are often too theoretical and lack contextual relevance. To optimize the effectiveness of KKG, training must be more practical and context-based, with sustained pedagogical discussions and stronger institutional support. Strengthening the role of KKG is essential for enhancing PAI teachers’ capacity to develop HOTS questions and, ultimately, to improve the quality of religious education.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) tingkat madya melalui media pariwisata lokal dilakukan dengan mengangkat objek wisata Air Terjun Sipiso-Piso sebagai sumber konten pembelajaran berbasis konteks dan tugas. Media pariwisata ini dipilih karena memiliki nilai budaya lokal yang kuat dan belum banyak dimanfaatkan dalam bahan ajar BIPA. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan pendekatan mix methode (metode campuran). Proses pengembangan melibatkan validasi ahli. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar memperoleh kelayakan sebesar 92,86% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil wawancara juga menunjukkan bahwa pembelajar memiliki antusiasme yang tinggi terhadap isi, tampilan, dan konteks budaya dalam bahan ajar sehingga bahan ajar ini efektif meningkatkan pemahaman kosakata, minat belajar, serta apresiasi terhadap budaya Indonesia. Temuan baru dari penelitian ini adalah integrasi media wisata lokal sebagai sumber belajar kontekstual yang memperkuat pembelajaran bahasa dan budaya secara bermasamaan.
