Abstract

Information technology has been used in various sectors of life, including the health sector. One of them is the use of expert systems in diagnosing disease. Disease diagnosis carried out by an expert has weaknesses along with the expert's biological weaknesses. One technology that can be a solution is an expert system. This research aims to build a web-based expert system for diagnosing epilepsy in children, along with things that parents can do when treating epilepsy patients. The method used in this research is forward chaining, and system testing is carried out using the Black Box method. From the system design that has been created and tested, a web-based expert system application for diagnosing epilepsy in children has been produced. The black-box testing results show that all menus function well and as expected. The results of expert testing and user testing results obtained a final score of 3.8, which means the assessment is in the very suitable category. Apart from that, it will provide information and education to the public, in this case, the parents of epilepsy patients, regarding the type of epilepsy the child suffers from and how to treat it, which can be accessed anywhere and at any time.

Abstract

Sustainable Development Goals or usually abbreviated as SDGs is a sustainable development role that is included in the village development priority program. The Village Information System (SID) is part of an e-government system owned by the village, where this system is a system that will assist village officials in resolving village administration problems such as managing correspondence, as well as managing village population data which includes native population data. and immigrant population data. Sumberdadi Village is a village in the Tanalili District, North Luwu Regency. The main objective of this PKM activity is that the implementing team will implement information system technology that can be utilized by Sumberdadi Village officials in public services and archiving various documents owned, in addition to providing reinforcement to Sumberdadi village officials regarding the use of information technology that can be used in governance. village office. The method used in implementing PKM includes several stages, namely (1) Socialization and Interview Preparation Stages (2) Technology Implementation and Application Stages (3) Mentoring Stages (4) Evaluation Stages. The results of the outreach activities and workshops carried out by the implementing team increased the participants' knowledge and increased the soft skills of Sumberdadi village officials in terms of knowledge about the basic concept of smart villages, the use of village administration structuring applications and the use of the SIPEDES Sumberdadi application. The participant response to this PKM activity was very positive and beneficial for the participants. The activities carried out at each stage can increase the participants' insight and knowledge.

Abstract

Currently, students and the public in searching for boarding house information only rely on information from friends, relatives or manual searches to find the availability of boarding houses. Currently, the availability of information service platforms for boarding houses is now numerous, especially those based on websites and Android-based. Boarding house information services based on websites and Android-based only provide general information related to boarding house information, but are not able to provide comprehensive information. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the field of information technology through innovation in the development of an e-commerce platform Indekost integrated with the Web Geographic Information System that can help improve information accessibility, facilitate the boarding house search process and ultimately increase user satisfaction in choosing boarding houses that suit their needs. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the waterfall development model. The results of this study were able to produce an e-commerce application product Indekost that is able to integrate with the Web Geographic Information System. The results of black-box testing showed that all menus can function properly and according to expectations. The results of expert testing and user testing obtained a final score of 3.8, meaning the assessment falls into the very appropriate category.

Abstract

Background: Elementary school learning still faces challenges in providing meaningful, contextual learning experiencesthat foster students’ reasoning skills. Objective: This study aimed to design and develop an augmented reality–based mathematics learning medium thatintegrates traditional Luwu games, Madende and Maguli, to enhance elementary students’ numeracy literacy. Methods: A needs analysis was conducted through classroom observations, teacher interviews, and student questionnaires.Numeracy elements were identified from the rules of the traditional games. The learning media were designed andimplemented using Unity with image-based tracking technology. Expert validation and a limited trial were conducted with25 fifth-grade students.Result: The developed product was rated as highly feasible, with an average validity score of 85%. Students’ mean scoresincreased from 62.4 to 80.6, yielding a normalized gain score of 0.48. User responses were positive, and teachers assessedthe media as suitable for classroom use. Conclusion: The integration of Augmented Reality with local cultural contexts supports numeracy learning and has thepotential for broader adoption following performance optimization and further comparative testing.
