Abstract

Information Technology (IT) has become an essential element of human activity, including the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs aimed at community empowerment. One organization conducting such programs is Foundation XXX, a non-profit focused on education that routinely carries out CSR initiatives in partnership with various stakeholders. This study seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of IT-based partnerships within the foundation’s CSR program. A qualitative approach was employed through in-depth interviews with stakeholders, field observations, document analysis, and a literature review. Findings indicate that using online communication platformsm such as Zoom and Google Meet, and digital monitoring systems enhances inter-party coordination, transparency in resource allocation, and community participation. IT also facilitates real-time progress tracking, enabling faster, data-driven decision-making. Nonetheless, challenges such as digital-literacy gaps, infrastructure limitations, and incomplete system integration still hinder optimal benefits. The research underscores the need for a comprehensive IT strategy encompassing literacy training, platform standardization, and a sustainable integration plan to maximize CSR impact. These findings are expected to guide similar organizations in designing IT-based CSR initiatives that are sustainable and results-oriented. Practical implications include formulating supportive policies and fostering multi-party collaboration to bridge technological gaps and ensure equitable benefits for all stakeholders within the organization

Abstract

The implementation of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure projects frequently experiences failures—such as schedule delays, cost escalation, and stakeholder rejection of deliverables, because of ineffective communication between vendors and internal stakeholders. This study evaluates how far optimizing communication planning, information distribution, performance reporting, and documentation processes can improve project communication effectiveness and reduce conflict. A qualitative case study was carried out on an IT infrastructure project at a national telecommunications company through field observation; analysis of project documents, such as communication plans, weekly reports, and meeting minutes; and structured interviews with the project manager, vendor team, and internal departments, such as planning, project management, and regional operations. Coordination patterns were identified to verify the consistency and reliability of data sources. Findings indicate that a combination of routine face‑to‑face meetings, periodic reporting, and the use of digital collaboration platforms, such as a project portal, Jira, and Microsoft Sharepoint, Teams, accelerates issue detection and expedites technical decision‑making compared with previous project cycles. Disciplined communication documentation also reduces conflict and administrative disputes by providing clear mitigation evidence, including comprehensive project records and well‑defined escalation paths when scope changes occur. An integrated set of communication procedures across all departments enhances transparency, aligns stakeholder expectations, and lowers the risk of failure, particularly in IT infrastructure projects.

Abstract

Di era digitalisasi berbasis pengetahuan, perusahaan menghadapi tantangan dalam mempertahankan dan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan pengetahuan, khususnya di lingkungan kerja digital yang dinamis. Studi ini menganalisis implementasi Knowledge Management System (KMS) di PT. XYZ sebagai solusi atas permasalahan pengetahuan yang silo, hilangnya pengetahuan tacit akibat turnover karyawan, dan munculnya inkonsistensi dalam penyampaian layanan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi mutakhir seperti Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), dan integrasi layanan cloud mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional hingga 45%, mengurangi kehilangan pengetahuan sebesar 75%, serta mempercepat proses inovasi sebanyak 35%. Pendekatan holistik terhadap KMS, mulai dari pengambilan, penyimpanan, pembaruan, hingga diseminasi pengetahuan, turut dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menegaskan pentingnya kolaboarasi antara budaya dan dukungan teknologi informasi sebagai faktor kunci keberhasilan implementasi KMS dalam meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan. Penelitian merekomendasikan strategi KMS berkelanjutan dengan komitmen organisasi dan tata kelola yang efektif bagi perusahaan teknologi dalam menghadapi tantangan digital.
