Abstract

Learning is a process of knowledge transfer conducted by educators to students within the scope of a particular place and time. The learning can be done by using several kinds of learning models. One of them is the active learning model. Active learning-based PAI learning is a model of PAI learning that prioritizes the activeness of students in the learning process. This is intended to maximize the learning process, namely to obtain high student achievement. Therefore, when using active learning, it is intended to be used to improve the quality of Islamic religious education learning outcomes. The inverse statement is that there are not a few Islamic Education teachers who teach their students with learning that can be said to be relatively boring, monotonous, inflexible, so they find it difficult to be able to accept what is conveyed by the teacher. Active learning in PAI learning seeks to make learning not only the teacher as the center of learning, but designing a lesson so that students are active, participating in carrying out learning activities. For example, a student actively asks questions, thinks, does practices related to learning materials. The quality of material delivery from a teacher determines the success of learning. Therefore, educators are expected to be able to convey the content of learning materials to the maximum as worthy of optimal performance which includes methods, strategies, approaches and others. When the teacher does not pay attention to student activeness in the delivery of material, then the learning is not yet effective. A learning can be classified as effective, that is, if educators and students can play a joint role in carrying out learning and teaching activities. This means that an active reciprocal interaction relationship can occur in the process, namely the teacher as a communicator, is able to convey and provide sessions or time for students to ask questions, argue, and so on, while students as communicants, can follow the teacher's delivery and are able to place themselves to communicate with the teacher as a member of communication effectively. Keywords: Active learning, effective learning, and active participation.

In order for the goals of national education to be realized, education itself requires good management. Management of education both by the government and the private sector for school and out-of-school education pathways at every type and level of education is needed in order to achieve national education goals. Education units established by the government are organized by the Minister of Education and Culture or other ministers, while education units established by the community are organized by foundations or social bodies. Principals at the primary and secondary education levels, rectors at the university / institute level, chairpersons at the academy / school level are responsible for organizing educational activities, school administration, fostering other education personnel and utilizing and maintaining facilities and infrastructure. Abstract

The world of education is considered a stagnant world that only takes care of levels and qualities that can ultimately become capital to find a life based on a materialistic and mechanical mindset. How ironic that education only moves mechanically. As a result, the world of education today is a rigid world and only gives birth to mechanical robots that are not cultured, moral, and only concerned with quality values without paying attention to the qualities that should be most important to form smart humans physically and mentally so that they can form a civilized life of the nation and state. Abstract

Globalization is a complex phenomenon that has had far-reaching effects. Not surprisingly, the term, "globalization" has acquired multiple connotations of meaning. On the one hand, globalization is seen as an irresistible and benign force for delivering economic prosperity to people around the world. On the other hand, it is blamed as the source of all contemporary ills. The era of globalization, marked by quality competition, requires all parties in various fields and sectors of development to constantly increase competition. The era of free markets, or what is commonly referred to as the era of globalization, has often been echoed by economic observers since several decades ago until now. In the era of globalization, knowledge and technology, which are the source of materials to be studied, are developing so fast that in such conditions the demands on the quality of human resources are highly prioritized, and if we note that in this era of globalization what is needed is how we can be accepted in any part of the world. This study wants to analyze and reveal how the supremacy pattern is based on strengthening and internalizing the values of religious moderation in madrasas. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by exploring relevant information through interviews, observations, and documentation through the selection of informants who are considered capable and understand the case, in order to reveal in depth the existing curriculum development patterns. The results of this study show that the pattern carried out in strengthening the values of religious moderation in madrasah tsanawiyah miftahul ulum Jember is pursued in several aspects. First, the internalization of a tolerant attitude, second, the internalization of an attitude of anti-violence, third, the internalization of an accommodating attitude towards local wisdom, and fourth, the internalization of an attitude of militancy in the nation, which in all aspects is carried out based on an attitude of responsibility and continuity with collaboration between the madrasah starting from educators and educators with student guardians and the surrounding community.TRANSLATE with x EnglishArabicHebrewPolishBulgarianHindiPortugueseCatalanHmong DawRomanianChinese SimplifiedHungarianRussianChinese TraditionalIndonesianSlovakCzechItalianSlovenianDanishJapaneseSpanishDutchKlingonSwedishEnglishKoreanThaiEstonianLatvianTurkishFinnishLithuanianUkrainianFrenchMalayUrduGermanMalteseVietnameseGreekNorwegianWelshHaitian CreolePersian //  TRANSLATE with COPY THE URL BELOW Back EMBED THE SNIPPET BELOW IN YOUR SITE Enable collaborative features and customize widget: Bing Webmaster PortalBack//

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Jigsaw cooperative learning method in improving students' engagement, collaboration, understanding, and retention in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (IHR). The study also identified the challenges faced during the implementation of the method, such as students' adaptation to new roles, ability variation, time management, and group dynamics. The research was conducted through a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach in several cycles, involving observations, interviews, and analysis of student learning outcomes. The results showed that the Jigsaw method significantly increased student engagement, build teamwork, and strengthened social skills, such as communication and conflict resolution. Data showed an increase in material comprehension and long-term retention through collaborative interaction and group discussion. The study also identified implementation challenges, such as students' initial resistance to active roles, uneven contributions within groups, and time management constraints. Mitigation strategies, such as gradual guidance, provision of additional materials, and structured time management, proved effective in overcoming these obstacles. This study makes a practical contribution to the educational literature by confirming the effectiveness of the Jigsaw method while offering solutions to implementation challenges. The implications of this study suggest that the active role of teachers is crucial in ensuring the success of this method, as well as encouraging the application of the Jigsaw method in broader and diverse educational contexts. This research also opens up opportunities for further exploration of the application of the Jigsaw method in other subjects and groups of students with special needs.
