Abstract

AbstractCorona Virus Disease 2019 is a dangerous virus that threatens human health. The greater spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 has a negative impact on the economy. The cessation of the production of a company is an example of the adverse effects caused by the spread, therefore prevention and control of the spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 in the workplace is needed to ensure the sustainability of a company's business. PT. Weir Minerals Indonesia is one of the pump manufacturing companies that implements prevention and control of Corona Virus Disease 2019 in the workplace which is integrated with the company's occupational safety and health system. This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of prevention and control of Corona Virus Disease 2019 at PT. Weir Minerals Indonesia uses a qualitative descriptive method. The stages of the research started from the file inspection, field observations, interviews with informants to the determination of prevention and control criteria. The sources of this research were collected from informants, locations and documents. Based on the results of the study obtained the effectiveness level of prevention and treatment of Corona Virus Disease 2019 at PT. Weir Minerals Indonesia is very effective with 95% achievements.Keywords: Effectiveness, Prevention, Control, Corona, WeirAbstrakCorona Virus Disease2019 merupakan salah satu virus berbahaya yang mengancam kesehatan manusia.Penyebaran Corona Virus Disease2019 yang semakin besar berdampak buruk bagi perekonomian. Terhentinya produksi sebuah perusahaan merupakan salah satu contoh dampak buruk akibat penyebaran tersebut, oleh sebab itu pencegahan dan penanggulangan penyebaran Corona Virus Disease 2019 di tempat kerja sangat diperlukan guna menjamin keberlangsungan usaha suatu perusahaan. PT. Weir Minerals Indonesia merupakan salah satu perusahaan produsen pompa yang menerapkan pencegahan dan pengendalian Corona Virus Disease 2019 di tempat kerja yang terintegrasi dengan sistem keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas pencegahan dan pengendalian Corona Virus Disease2019 di PT. Weir Minerals Indonesia menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif.Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari pemeriksaan berkas, observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan informan hingga penentuan kriteria pencegahan dan pengendalian.Sumber pengumpulan penelitian ini berasal dari informan, lokasi dan dokumen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka didapatkan tingkat efektivitas pencegahan dan penanganan Corona Virus Disease2019 di PT. Weir Minerals Indonesia sangat efektif dengan capaian sebesar 95%. Kata kunci: Efektivitas, Pencegahan, Pengendalian, Corona, Weir

Abstract

CSMS or Contractor Safety Management System is the documentation of a control mechanism in the form of a guide to ensure business standards in managing the performance of the Healthy Safety Environmental (HSE) of contractors. This system is used by the employer/owner in selecting contractors, supervising project implementation and evaluating the OHS system when the project has been completed. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce and create CSMS documents for contracting companies so that they can maintain work performance in the manufacturing industry, especially in oil and gas so as to increase business opportunities in the future. CSMS is a comprehensive system in the management of contractors from the planning stage to the execution of the work. The benefits of CSMS are CSMS Bridging the Company's OHSMS with the contractor's OHSMS, the Company provides requirements that must be met by OHSMS Contractor. For this reason, the company must have a good OHSMS, so that it can provide the basic framework for the development of the Contractor's OHSMS.

Abstract

Socialization is the process of transferring ideas or ideas from society to individuals. This idea will be accepted by individuals for the learning process and to recognize social values ​​that exist in society. These ideas about normal and social values ​​will shape individual behavior in accordance with the demands in society. K3 stands for Occupational Health and Safety, which is a policy product used by the government and business actors to prevent accidents at work and reduce the risk of work-related accidents. A work accident is a series of events or a work accident that occurs as a result of workers carrying out work and is also caused by factors or potential hazards that are interrelated (Herdianti and Hamdani) K3 targets are: Ensuring worker safety, Ensuring the safety of the tools used, Ensuring a safe and smooth production process. The norms that must be understood in K3 are: Rules relating to occupational safety and health, applied to protect workers, risks of occupational accidents and diseases. The purpose of the norms: so that there is a balance on the part of the company to ensure the safety of workers. Barriers from the workers/community side: Workers' demands are still on basic needs. Many workers do not demand K3 guarantees because human resources are still low. Barriers from the company side: Companies that usually emphasize production or operational costs and increase worker efficiency to generate maximum profits.

Abstract

Air pollution is the entry or inclusion of substances, energy and/or other components into the ambient air so that the quality of the ambient air drops to a certain level which causes the ambient air to be unable to fulfill its function (Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.15/ MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/4/2019). Particulate Matter (PM 2.5) are airborne particles that are smaller than or equal to 2.5 µm (micrometer). PM 2.5 in Indonesia in 2022 is reported to be the 26th worst out of 131 countries globally, Indonesia's daily PM 2.5 concentration level in 2022 reaches 30.4 ugram/m³ (released by IQAir, a Swiss-based technology company). Air pollution control is a series of processes and technical approaches to eliminate or reduce the toxic level of certain compounds in exhaust gases, so that they do not exceed the established emission quality standards. Proper control of air pollution requires technical requirements that must be met in the construction of a waste to energy processing unit which requires an assessment at the beginning of the planning as well as the selection of control technology (national and international standards). The selection of air pollution control technology is based on consideration of the parameters being processed, selection of equipment (external parameters and characteristics of the equipment), system design (equipment and instruments). Particulate control technology consists of gravity, centrifugal, electrostatic, impaction, interception, diffusion processes.
