Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) merupakan salah satu penyakit kronis, sehingga memerlukan penatalaksanaan yang tepat agar kadar gula darah pasien dapat terkendali serta mencegah terjadinya komplikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penentu yang mempengaruhi kadar gula darah pada pasien DM di ruang Poliklinik Penyakit Dalam RS Bina Husada pada 2018. Sampel yang digunakan adalah pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 yang dilakukan pemeriksaan glukosa darah sewaktu sebanyak 102 orang.Variabel indepenent yang diteliti adalah sosiodemografi pasien (usia, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, pekerjaan, kepemilikan asuransi), aktifitas fisik, faktor biomedik (riwayat keturunan, lama menderita DM, komobiditas), dan faktor konsumsi obat (rasionalitas, pola pemberian obat dan kepatuhan mengkonsumsi obat) yang diduga mempengaruhi keterkendalian kadar gula darah. Desain penelitian menggunakan studi observasional secara retrospektif dan prospektif. Analisis data menggunakan uji univariat, bivariat dan multivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 102 orang pasien, terdapat 75 orang (73,5%) glukosa darahnya terkendali dan 27 orang (26,5%) glukosa darahnya tidak terkendali. Faktor yang paling dominan menentukan keterkendalian glukosa darah adalah faktor kepatuhan dengan OR 3,873, yang artinya responden yang tidak patuh dalam minum obat akan berpeluang glukosa darahnya menjadi tidak terkendali 3,9 kali dibanding responden yang patuh setelah dikontrol oleh variabel jenis kelamin, rasionalitas dan komorbiditas.

Abstract

The number of individuals experiencing degenerative diseases is increasing from year to year, making it a burden on the government. Currently, counseling by pharmacists is very rarely carried out so the role of pharmacists is not optimal for prevention and early identification of degenerative diseases. This research aims to determine the level of community satisfaction with pharmacist counseling in Sempur Field, Bogor. Research method using cross-sectional. The sample amounted to 100 respondents, taken using an accidental sampling technique. Data was collected through a questionnaire from September to November 2023. Counseling satisfaction is measured using a Likert scale, namely sequentially from the first question item to the ninth. Analyzed descriptively observationally in the form of frequencies and percentages. The results of this research obtained the characteristics of respondents, age, gender, education, occupation, and ethnicity,  aged 17 - 25 and 45 - 55 years 38%, 49%, 74% women, 51% high school were housewives and Sundanese of respondents' knowledge degenerative disease were 57% poor, and 43% good and the results obtained from the level of satisfaction with counseling carried out by pharmacists showed that the level of patient satisfaction reached 88.75%, falling into the high satisfaction category. Aspects assessed include the way the pharmacist discusses and conveys information, the pharmacist's questions regarding the history of degenerative diseases, confidentiality, the respondent's knowledge, Response from the pharmacist, the language used, duration of counseling time, the way the pharmacist interacts, and the information conveyed by the pharmacist.

Abstract

Dampak bagi pasien atas ketidakrasionalan pada pengobatan akan berdampak pada tingginya tingkat pembiayaan dalam pelayanan kesehatan. Obat yang tidak rasional akan memberikan khasiat yang tidak sesuai dengan terapi pengobatan, adanya efek lain yang berbahaya antara pencampuran berbagai jenis obat dan menurunnya mutu pelayanan kesehatan. Peningkatan nilai rasionalitas suatu obat dalam pengobatan diperlukan adanya usaha dari tenaga kesehatan agar obat dikelola dengan baik dan sesuai panduan yang berlaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memberikan gambaran mengenai pola peresepan obat pada salah satu klinik di kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan gambaran tingkat rasionalitas peresepan dan upaya untuk meningkatkan rasionalitas dalam penggunaan obat serta kesalahan dalam pemberian obat pada pelayanan kesehatan dasar di klinik. Hasil penelitian di dapatkan bahwa pola peresepan obat di salah satu klinik Kabupaten Bogor yakni 98,66 % dengan total resep yang di analisis sebanyak 148 resep menununjukan resep sudah rasional. Hasil analisa dari penelitian ini bahwa pengobatan di klinik X termasuk dalam kategori rasional diantaranya tepat kepada pasien sesuai terapi pengobatannya, tepat pemberian obat serta dosis obat, tepat pada waktu dan cara pemberian yang diberikan oleh tenaga kesehatan juga tepat pada dokumentasi peresepan di fasilitas layanan kesehatan dan tepat informasi obat kepada pasien.

Abstract

Infectious diseases are still a global problem, including in Indonesia. Immunity is an important factor in preventing infectious diseases. Probiotics are living organisms that are able to provide beneficial effects for maintaining health, namely being able to maintain the health of the digestive tract so that the body's immunity becomes better. The purpose of this community service is to provide information and increase knowledge about the role of probiotics in helping improve health and body immunity to mothers who live in Bantarsari Village, Rancabungur District, Bogor Regency. The method used is initial pretest followed by providing education about probiotics, giving brochures about probiotics, demonstrating the manufacture of probiotics and closing with post test to see the final ability of the participants. The result of the community service activity is an increase in the knowledge of the participant mothers about the importance of probiotics, types of probiotics and an increase in the ability to make probiotic drinks. The activity went well and was attended by the target group community and followed by village officials.

Abstract

Antibiotic resistance is a serious public health problem because it has the potential to pose a serious threat to health services if not treated, and could trigger another pandemic. The use of antibiotics in Indonesia is quite high and inappropriate, this will increase the incidence of resistance. Antibiotic resistance is reported to increase in direct proportion to the increase in consumption, this occurs due to irrational use of antibiotics and inadequate public education. Therefore, this community service activity is carried out with the aim of providing education to increase and expand public knowledge about the correct use of antibiotics, as well as to increase public awareness about the importance of using antibiotics correctly to reduce the incidence of resistance. The method used to provide education in the lecture method using LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) and Leaflet media, to present information on the correct use of antibiotics. Respondents are given the opportunity to ask questions followed by discussion. To measure the level of knowledge, 30 respondents were asked to answer 15 questions in a list of questions related to the material provided. The results showed that before education the knowledge level category was good as many as 18 respondents (60%), after education it increased to 29 respondents (96.0%), the knowledge level category was not good before education as many as 12 respondents (40.0%), after education it became 1 respondent (3.0%).  The conclusion is that there is an increase in knowledge among respondents who are educated about how to use antibiotics correctly.
