Abstract

Abstract SENSE Program: Assistance in Improving Social Emotional Skills through Theater Based Intervention aims to improve the social and emotional skills of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This service was carried out at SLB Harapan Mulia Jambi involving 22 autistic children, using the Theater Based Intervention method which involves theater activities and educational games such as freeze dance, paper sensory, Simon says, and emoticon block. The program was implemented with a pre-experimental approach, using a One Group Pretest-Posttest design to evaluate changes in social and emotional skills before and after the intervention. Results showed a significant improvement in children's social and emotional skills after participation in the activities. Statistical test results with a significance value (p = 0.000 < 0.05) confirmed that the theater intervention was effective in improving communication skills, emotion control, and social interaction of children with ASD. Thus, Theater Based Intervention proved to be an efficient approach for the social-emotional development of children with autism. Abstract

Conflict is considered an inevitable aspect and occurrence in human social relationships across all organizations. Conflict is a situation where differences in opinions, goals, or interests arise between two or more parties, potentially leading to tension, disputes, or disagreements. Conflicts can occur in various contexts, such as within families, organizations, societies, or even at the international level, and require proper resolution to prevent escalation into larger problems. Conflict can be understood as a disagreement arising between what someone expects from themselves, others, organizations, and what they experience in reality. If left unresolved, conflict can negatively impact a company or organization. However, conflict can also have positive impacts, such as increasing motivation, reducing stress, alerting leaders to unresolved issues, and encouraging both parties to engage in self-reflection. Addressing conflict effectively can ensure similar events do not recur and foster mutual respect among conflicting parties, leading to improved collaboration and productivity. This analysis focuses on describing mediation in traditional medicine conflicts in Indonesia using bibliometric literature analysis from 1973 to 2023 and examining scientific trends. The researchers used Scopus as a search engine, utilizing the keywords: Conflict OR Conflict Factors AND Traditional Medicine. Articles were selected from journals written in English and Indonesian. A total of 980 documents were retrieved for the period of 1979-2023. Vosviewer analysis revealed that research related to conflict and mediation in the pharmaceutical field is still lacking, highlighting the importance of conducting studies on mediation in conflict management within the traditional medicine sector. Although the number of publications has steadily increased, it remains below 40 per year. Interventions in topics such as experimental studies or compliance remain limited. Several countries experiencing increased conflicts have shown significant growth in the number of publications and collaborative studies over the past decade. The modest number of studies indicates that researchers still have numerous opportunities to develop better and more productive techniques to reduce and manage conflicts effectively.

Abstract

Abstract

Conflicts are widespread in everyday life, whether in the home, at work, or in traditional medicine. Conflicts in the field of traditional medicine can arise as a result of numerous disagreements about the use of raw materials, manufacturing methods, and marketing strategies for herbal medicine, the presence of inappropriate job desks, the occurrence of role conflicts, horizontal conflicts, and interpersonal conflicts between managers and herbal medicine entrepreneurs. Until a legal matter reached the courtroom, the largest feud in history had occurred. The goal of this study is to identify the variables that contribute to conflict, which can then be used to resolve the conflict controversy in the field of traditional medicine in Cilacap Regency. This is qualitative research using a case study methodology. This study's respondents were employees of Small Traditional Medicine Enterprises (UKOT) in Cilacap Regency. Abstract

The Gender equality is one of the key targets in Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5 and remains a major challenge in Central Papua and Papua Highland, where gender development indicators are among the lowest in Indonesia. This study aims to identify the dominant factors influencing gender equality in these two provinces using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) on seven indicators representing education, health, economic conditions, and political representation of women. The analysis results show that two main factors are formed with a total variance explained of 77.248%. The first factor reflects women’s economic participation and basic living conditions, while the second factor represents resource capacity and socio-political representation. These findings suggest that limited access to education, health services, and participation in the labor market and political institutions are the primary contributors to gender inequality in this region. Therefore, empowerment-oriented policies and improved service accessibility are required to achieve more equitable gender development in Papua.
