Abstract

The Malay language that is spoken in Karimun Regency is a unique and diverse language. The uniqueness and diversity of the Malay language lies in phonology. The purpose of this study is to analyze the phonological variations and phonological differences of the Malay language in Karimun Regency, Riau Islands. The focused places of this study are located in three districts, namely Karimun District, West-Kundur District and Moro District. This study uses a dialect geography approach and qualitative descriptive. The data were collected by using the listening that is followed by simak libat cakap method, recording, and taking notes technique. The results showed that the Karimun Malay language has phonological variations in the form of vowel and consonant variations. Phonological variations happen due to geographic locations between different observation areas and they are obliviously limited to other regions. The phonological differences of the Karimun Malay language in the three observation places are categorized in speech difference. The results of data calculated is analyzed the phonological dialectometric method of Karimun Malay language in the three observation places is 4-7% in percentage.

Abstract

Critical thinking has become a discussion in education as a skill that must be possessed by students so that learning activities properly direct assignment activities and questions that lead to critical thinking skills. Then in this study the aim was to describe the results of the analysis and evaluation of critical thinking in class X Indonesian books used in Sekolah Penggerak dan SMK Pusat Keunggulan. The research method used was content analysis supported by statistic descriptions. The instrument used is a critical thinking activity framework in language learning developed by Ilyas. Based on the results of the analysis, out of 220 assignment activities and questions, there were 137 (62.27%) activities that lead to critical thinking skills, consisting of requests (13.64%); exploring assumptions (14.09%); exploring reasons and proof (13.64%); exploring point of view or perspective (5.45%); exploring impacts, consequences, and alternatives (5.91%); formulate questions (0.91%); predict (0.91%); express agreement and disagreement (3.18%); and summarizing and concluding (4.55%). Based on the proportion of instructions or assignments, this Indonesian language book is sufficient to contain instructions for improving critical thinking skills. However, it takes the teacher's ability to direct learning so that the goal of increasing critical thinking can be developed.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan media animasi pembelajaran edukasi menggunakan linktr.ee dalam pembelajaran teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 4 Tanjungpinang tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Metode model 4D hingga tahap pengembangan. Validasi media dilakukan oleh dua ahli: ahli media sekali dengan lima belas indikator penilaian, dan ahli materi dua kali dengan tiga belas indikator penilaian. Uji coba media kelompok kecil (enam siswa) dan kelompok besar (tiga puluh siswa). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, validasi angket media dan materi, serta angket kepraktisan media oleh siswa. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini sangat valid dengan nilai rata-rata 97% dari ahli media, valid dengan nilai rata-rata 80% dari ahli materi, dan sangat praktis dengan nilai rata-rata 93% dari kelompok kecil serta 84% dari kelompok besar.
