Abstract

This study aims to find out the learning outcomes of students before the application of interactive power point learning media, to find out the learning outcomes of students after the application of interactive power point learning media, and to find out whether there is an effect of the use of power point learning media on the learning outcomes of science students in grade VI at SDN 1 Panambangan. The method in this study is to use a quantitative approach. The design in this study is a pre-experimental design experiment in one group of pretest-posttest design. The experimental class in this study was class VI of SDN 1 Panambangan with a total of 39 students. The data collection technique in this study is in the form of documentation and tests in the form of multiple-choice questions pretest-posttest. The data analysis techniques in this study are in the form of normality test testing, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test (paired sample t-test). The results in this study include: 1) the learning outcomes of students before being given the treatment had the highest score of 80 and the lowest score of 33 with an average score of 58.20. 2) The learning outcomes of students after being given the treatment had the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 60 with an average score of 80. 3) There was an effect of the use of interactive power point learning media on student learning outcomes in science lessons on earth material and the season of grade VI SDN 1 Panambangan, this is evidenced by the results of the paired sample t-test which has a sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < of 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Quality education is a key factor in enhancing a nation's competitiveness in the era of globalization. Along with the development of time, digitalization in education has become an urgent necessity to improve the effectiveness of learning and school management. School-Based Management (SBM) and transformational leadership are two main factors in improving education quality; however, their effectiveness in addressing the challenges of the digital era remains a subject of debate. This study aims to analyze the influence of School-Based Management (SBM) and Transformational Leadership through Digital Transformation on Education Quality at SMP IBS Cirebon. The research method used is quantitative with a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach to examine the relationships between variables. The results of the study indicate that SBM and transformational leadership (p-value = 0.016) significantly affect education quality (p-value = 0.019). However, both SBM (p-value = 0.000) and transformational leadership (p-value = 0.002) were found to have a significant impact on digital transformation. Furthermore, digital transformation significantly influences education quality (p-value = 0.000) and also acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between SBM and transformational leadership with education quality. The findings of this study confirm that digital transformation plays a crucial role in enhancing education quality in the modern era. Therefore, schools need to optimize digitalization in management and learning to achieve better education quality.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah instrumen penting untuk pembangunan bangsa, terutama dalam literasi numerasi, yaitu kemampuan menerapkan angka dan simbol matematika untuk memecahkan masalah sehari-hari. Di Indonesia, menurut PISA 2022, negara ini menempati peringkat 70 untuk literasi matematika dan 71 untuk literasi membaca, meski mengalami penurunan poin sebesar 18 dan 12. Peran guru sebagai fasilitator sangat penting, dan Permendikbud No. 22 Tahun 2016 mencantumkan tiga model pembelajaran, salah satunya adalah Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian menunjukkan PBL dapat meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa. Namun, di SDN 1 Mertasinga, khususnya di kelas 5, pelajaran matematika masih menggunakan metode konvensional yang menekankan konsep dan hafalan, yang menurut observasi belum efektif meningkatkan literasi numerasi. Penelitian kuantitatif pre-eksperimental one group pre-test post-test design ini menggunakan software SPSS untuk mengetahui kondisi literasi numerasi siswa kelas V SDN 1 Mertasinga, membandingkan metode PBL dan konvensional, serta menilai pengaruh PBL terhadap peningkatan literasi numerasi siswa. Hasil menunjukkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa masih rendah, namun PBL terbukti memiliki perbedaan signifikan dibandingkan metode konvensional dan berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan literasi numerasi, memberikan pemahaman lebih baik bagi pendidik dan sektor pendidikan, khususnya di SDN 1 Mertasinga.
