Abstract

One of the advantages possessed by the Al-Quran is the use of a beautiful language style, a series of letters and sounds that are so harmonious between the vowels and the consonants and the regularity of the verses creates a beautiful harmony, because the Koran is a recited text. Therefore, to find out the beauty of the language style contained in the Koran, it is necessary to study the principles of the Koran using a linguistic approach. This is very important, to know and understand the message content in the Koran and the beauty of lafadz and its meaning. Thus one of the studies carried out is through the study of the beauty of lafadz which is included in the study of balaghah or badi 'science. The harmony of the sound of the last letter in the verses of the surah asy syamsy is discussed in this writing, as well as the effects it causes. This harmony in balaghah is called rhyme. The harmony of sounds in surah ash-Shamsy is found in verses 1-15, the effect that is generated includes the effect of phonology on harmony and the effect of phonology on meaning.

Abstract

In the Quran, there are numerous terms that use the word "shirath" in its singular form or in conjunction with other words. The word "shirath" is often translated as a narrow bridge to heaven or a bridge as thin as a hair. This study aims to explore the meaning of "shirath" as found in the Quran and to examine its implications in social life. The word "shirath" is mentioned 43 times in the Quran with various derivations, making it an interesting subject for research. The method used is qualitative with a library research approach, utilizing primary data from Quranic exegesis and Hadith, as well as secondary data from journals, scholarly articles, and references related to the research. The analysis employed in this study is based on the semantics of Toshihiko Izutsu. The results indicate that "shirath" represents the straight path to heaven. In social life, "shirath" is interpreted as following Allah's commands and avoiding His prohibitions.

Abstract

Abstract: The aims to delve into the enhancement of self-control levels among Prisma (single Malaysian women) facing double burdens in the Solokuro District. Involving an analysis of internal and external factors, this study identifies elements such as age, parental roles, response to failure, communication style, and participation in religious social activities as significant contributors to the development of self-control in Prisma women. External factors like the environment and family roles, including a positive disciplinary approach, were also found to play crucial roles in shaping individuals' ability to exercise self-control. Confronting the challenges of dual responsibilities in domestic tasks and productive work, Prisma women in the Solokuro District demonstrated adaptive and resilient self-control strategies, enabling them to remain productive and harmonious. The village government plays a role in empowerment efforts through Women's Association activities and parenting programs, focusing on economic independence through skill training and support in managing caregiving tasks. The findings contribute to understanding the dynamics of Prisma women experiencing a double burden, laying the groundwork for more effective empowerment policies and programs. In conclusion, strengthening the self-control of Prisma women is a key aspect in navigating the complexity of double burdens, and collaborative efforts among individuals, communities, and the government can positively impact their well-being and contributions to society. Abstract

Tujuan dari penilitan ini adalah mengungkap nilai-nilai sosial keagamaan pada tradisi wagenan yang didalamnya terdapat kegiatan sholawatan. Pelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis yang dimulai dari penggalian data terkait dengan fenomena tradisi wagenan, penyusunan pertanyaan yang terkait melalui informan dan dokumentasi pustaka yang terkait, penggalian data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam dengan metode triangulasi dan analisis data. Analisis yang digunakan pada penlitian ini menggunakan teori Interaksionisme Simbolik Herbert Blumer. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua penemuan pertama, sholawatan sebagai tradisi keagamaan di pesantren yang mengandung dan mengajarkan keserasian, kekompakan dan kerukunan antar sesama. Kedua, kegiatan sholawatan sebagai sarana kegiatan keagamaan yang menanamkan dan menumbuhkan kecintaan terhadap rasulullah SAW.

Abstract

Abstract: Inclusive da'wah communication has become an urgent necessity in multicultural societies to ensure that the Islamic message of rahmatan lil 'alamin (a mercy to all creation) is universally embraced. This study aims to explore the patterns of inclusive da'wah communication through the perspective of modern da'wah management, focusing on adaptive strategies that address the challenges of cultural, linguistic, and religious diversity. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research examines the implementation of inclusive communication strategies within da'wah communities in multicultural regions of Indonesia. The findings reveal that inclusive da'wah communication requires three key elements: 1) Cultural Empathy, the ability of preachers (da’i) to understand and appreciate the local values of the community. 2) Cross-Cultural Collaboration to involves synergy between local communities and religious leaders to deliver dakwah messages contextually, and 3) Utilization of Digital Technology, serving as a medium to extend the reach of da'wah while preserving the essence of Islamic values. Furthermore, the study highlights that data-driven da'wah management approaches significantly aid in designing targeted and relevant da'wah programs tailored to community needs. In conclusion, inclusive da'wah communication not only enhances the effectiveness of da'wah in multicultural societies but also serves as a model for fostering social harmony and strengthening national identity. This research provides both theoretical and practical contributions to the advancement of modern da'wah management in the globalization era. Abstract

This study investigates the phonological interference of the Javanese language in Arabic communication among students at Pesantren. Arabic is a medium of instruction and daily communication within the pesantren, yet students’ mother tongue often influences their mastery of Arabic. This qualitative descriptive research identifies and categorizes forms of phonological interference—such as the insertion of non-Arabic phonemes like ta, to, e, seh, and yo—which significantly alter the intended meaning in Arabic discourse. Data were collected through structured observations, interviews, and audio recordings. The findings demonstrate a persistent pattern of phonemic substitution and addition that impacts pronunciation, intonation, and syntactic fluency in Arabic speech. This study reveals the linguistic challenges posed by triglossia and bilingualism in traditional Islamic boarding schools. It provides pedagogical recommendations, including phonological awareness training and the integration of contrastive linguistic methods. These insights are vital for developing more adaptive Arabic language instruction tailored to the linguistic realities of pesantren students, thereby contributing to more effective bilingual education frameworks in Islamic learning institutions

Abstract

Tujuan utmanya adalah mengeksplorasi strategi konkret dalam penerapan komunikasi partisipatif antara lembaga pendidikan dan orang tua, khususnya dalam konteks peningkatan pendidikan karakter pada anak usia dini. Metode yang diguanakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif sebagai metode kualitatif dipilih karena penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pemahaman yang mendalam tentang strategi komunikasi partisipatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan karakter anak usia dini. Pendidikan karakter pada anak usia dini memiliki peran krusial dalam membentuk nilai, etika, dan perilaku yang menjadi dasar bagi pribadi mereka di masa depan. Strategi komunikasi partisipatif menjadi kunci utama dalam mengembangkan karakter pada fase ini. Melalui keterlibatan orang tua, guru, dan pihak sekolah, pendidikan karakter anak usia dini dapat menjadi lebih holistik dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji etika komunikasi perempuan single Malaysia atau PRISMA dalam menggunakan media sosial. Metode kualitatif dipilih dengan teknik wawancara mendalam pada 20 informan PRISMA pengguna aktif media sosial. Hasil menunjukkan pola interaksi didominasi penggunaan WhatsApp untuk komunikasi pragmatis dengan keluarga dan Facebook untuk mencari hiburan mengobati rasa kesepian. Sayangnya, Facebook rawan disalahgunakan hingga berisiko pada maraknya kasus perselingkuhan maya PRISMA. Ini jelas melanggar etika komunikasi Islam soal menjaga kerahasiaan data pribadi dan tanggung jawab suami menjaga sang istri meski jarak jauh. Diperlukan peningkatan literasi digital dengan basis nilai-nilai agama agar PRISMA bijak menggunakan media sosial dan meminimalisir risiko negatif bagi keluarga. Penelitian serupa penting dilakukan pada kelompok istri yang ditinggal suami merantau di daerah lain untuk perbandingan.

Abstract

The tradition of tilik, a form of social visit among community members, is a local cultural heritage still preserved by the people of Solokuro District, Lamongan. This tradition plays a vital role in strengthening social bonds and upholding communal values. However, with the rapid pace of modernization bringing about social and technological changes, the tilik tradition faces the challenge of sustainability. This research aims to understand how the tilik tradition adapts in the context of modernization and to identify the factors influencing the changes or continuity of this tradition. Using a phenomenological approach, this study explores the experiences and perspectives of local people regarding the meaning and relevance of the tilik tradition in their daily lives. The results show that although modernization has changed some social aspects, the tilik tradition remains a vital form of social interaction, albeit with adjustments in its implementation. This research is expected to provide deeper insights into the importance of maintaining a balance between preserving local culture and the need for adaptation in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the representation of Islamic boarding school values ​​in the 2020 Islamic Elementary School (MI) Arabic language textbook published by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. This textbook not only serves as a language learning medium, but also serves as an instrument for character building through narratives and illustrations rich in symbolic meaning. The method used is qualitative with visual and text analysis techniques, including interpretation of verbal and nonverbal signs (images, symbols, and illustrations) in the textbook. The results show that there are various representations of Islamic boarding school values ​​such as politeness, courtesy, discipline, and Islamic identity shown through symbols such as neat uniforms, peci (traditional cap), jilbab (headscarf), and interactions between students and teachers. These signs are analyzed through Barthes's three levels of meaning: denotative, connotative, and mythological, which ultimately lead to the construction of Islamic boarding school educational ideology in formal classrooms. These findings have important implications for the development of Arabic language textbooks that emphasize not only linguistic aspects but also serve as a medium for transmitting Islamic values ​​in a contextual and down-to-earth manner.
