Abstract

AbstractEfforts Muslims to realize the quality of Islamic Education Institutions have long coveted, to be able to give birth to a superior madrasah model that can compete with general education institutions.Madrasah on behalf of himself as superior schools and madrasah model should be recognized by the government and the public, not by the madrasah / school itself. Because excellence means having a value more than the other schools or Madrasahs, and certainly worth it not only can be seen from the physical aspect, but also other aspects that determine.Characteristics of a superior madrasah at least has three aspects, 1). Input, how the selection process for potential students is be done. 2) The process, which includes the ability of teachers, adequate facilities learning, curriculum, skill for language of Indonesian, Arabic, and English is absolutely necessary, teaching methods, which make students become active and creative, which is accompanied by freedom in expressing thoughts and imagination, also extar activities program, as well as extensive cooperation network. 3) Out put, an ability of graduates produced deemed superior, when they have been able to develop intellectual, emotional and spiritual potention of where they are located.Therefore, madrasah should have the advantage to be proud of the school and the community, which includes comparative advantage and competitive advantage. Abstract

Abstract Diplomatic relations between the United States of America and Cuba that had been cut off for 55 years were a phenomenon that attracted the international community’s attention, particularly from the Vatican. In seeking the rapprochement of diplomatic relations between the United States and Cuba, three Popes played a role in this issue i.e. Pope John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis. Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI were, in fact, unsuccessful in realizing the rapprochement in the United States of America and Cuba relations. However, Pope Francis was significantly successful in the recovery process of the relationship. This research will explain the role of Pope Francis in the the rapprochement of diplomatic relations between the United States and Cuba. The research used qualitative, descriptive method and the data used were obtained through literatures with various relevant resources. The results showed that the role of Pope Francis as a mediator, facilitator and religious leader managed to make the two countries to establish a communication and discussion to find solutions together and to influence people from both countries to support each government for the realization of the rapprochement of diplomatic relations between the United States of America and Cuba. Abstract

The study aimed at gaining a deep understanding and finding out the implementation of character based learning model atRoudhotut Tholibin Islamic Boarding School, Rembang, Central Java.This study was considered as qualitative research. It was commonly conducted in natural settings where the researcher paid muchattention to the social context. Method of data collection was conducted to gather the responses and any information about thebehaviors from the participants. Qualitative approach was employed to analyze the data relying on the results of the interviewand the secondary data from the original sources as well. The numeric data were employed in purpose of avoiding a subjectiveperspective derived from the analysis of the results of the interview.According to the results, this study concluded that some efforts and plans had been carried out to build the students? character.Furthermore, the school rules were clearly stated in the rule book presenting about preparing the classroom duties, askingpermission, breaking the rules and the consequences. Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a new curriculum aimed at improving the quality of education through a holistic approach, emphasizing the development of character, creativity, and multiple-intelligence of students. However, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Lamongan Regency faced several challenges, one of which was the limited understanding of teachers regarding the concepts and learning methodologies contained in the curriculum. To address these challenges, mentoring was provided to Madrasah IbtidaiyahI (Islamic Elementary School) teachers (a case study in Brondong Subdistrict, Lamongan). In this mentoring program, the subject of PKM (Community Service Program) was the teachers in 35 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) under the Working Group of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (KKMI) in Brondong Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. The assets (figuratively speaking) as the implementers of this program totaled 70 teachers, with two representatives from each madrasah. The mentoring method used the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, aiming to maximize the assets and potential of the madrasah, while involving active participation from all teachers. The mentoring results showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum, reaching 71.43%. Teachers were also able to develop lesson plans that align with the principles of flexibility and contextualization, and implement active learning methods through practical activities reinforcing the Pancasila Student Profile Project and the Rahmatan lil Alamin Student Profile (P5-PPRA). This mentoring provided benefits and positive outcomes for the madrasah and students. The madrasah became more independent and achieved better performance, while students obtained higher-quality and more meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

Acids and bases are basic principles in science, especially chemistry which really needs to be learned for everyone, introducing the principles of acids and bases to children is very important to do so they love science more in the future. Dyes found in nature, especially those derived from plants, when they are in a solution, their color depends on the pH atmosphere, so they can be used as indicators or indicators of acids and bases in solutions. Introducing science from an early age means helping children to start thinking critically and logically. Science helps children experiment, explore and observe their surroundings. This slowly builds children's character to get used to thinking scientifically, is skilled at solving problems, and has high analysis. To introduce science to children, it needs to be packaged in an interesting way, one of which is science magic. To test whether the butterfly pea flower extract has a good pH range, it is first tested in solutions with all pHs from 1 to 14, and the results show that the butterfly pea flower has a good color range, while for scientific magic it is done by making three clear solutions that are not colored, each labeled A, B and C then the solution is given a butterfly pea flower extract and the results show three different colors, solution A is red, solution B is blue and solution C is yellow, in magic the solution A contains an acidic solution, solution B contains plain water and solution C contains an alkaline solution. The results of this study indicate that the quality of science learning media which is the magic game using butterfly pea flowers has the potential to be used as a medium for introducing science at the elementary school level. The conclusion from this study is that it is necessary to design the development of science learning media in the form of magic games to develop higher quality children's cognition so that they are very suitable for use in learning activities.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru SD Negeri Kedung Umpal 01 Cibinong Bogor dalam menyajikan materi ajar secara atraktif menggunakan media Microsoft PowerPoint. Pelatihan ini dirancang sebagai respons terhadap permasalahan mitra, yaitu minimnya pemanfaatan media presentasi digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode pelatihan menggunakan pendekatan ice breaking dan praktik langsung, yang dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan utama: persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi dan pelaporan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berlangsung dengan lancar dan mendapat antusiasme tinggi dari peserta. Guru-guru yang semula belum familiar dengan PowerPoint kini mampu membuat slide presentasi yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mendorong guru untuk lebih kreatif dalam menyusun materi ajar. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan memberikan dampak positif awal terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam penggunaan teknologi pembelajaran. Diperlukan pelatihan lanjutan dengan cakupan materi yang lebih luas guna menunjang transformasi pembelajaran yang aktif dan menyenangkan di sekolah dasar. Abstract

Artikel ini mengangkat isu kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak-anak di Indonesia dalam konteks budaya patriarki yang masih kuat. Meskipun banyak perempuan berhasil memperlihatkan prestasi dan kepemimpinan, masih banyak yang mengalami marginalisasi dan kekerasan. Data statistik menunjukkan prevalensi kekerasan seksual dan psikologis pada perempuan dan anak yang mengkhawatirkan. Pemberdayaan perempuan dan anak-anak dalam lingkungan yang nyaman dan aman menjadi tujuan utama dalam upaya mengatasi masalah ini. Penelitian ini menguraikan data dan dampak kekerasan pada perempuan dan anak-anak, serta pentingnya pendidikan seksual yang mencakup pemahaman tentang tubuh, hak-hak, dan risiko. Konsep “HEALING (Healthy Counseling)” diusulkan sebagai pendekatan holistik dalam memberikan bantuan kepada korban kekerasan. Kolaborasi masyarakat dan pemerintah, serta dukungan terhadap pendidikan seksual, diharapkan dapat membentuk budaya yang menolak kekerasan dan mempromosikan kesetaraan. Ini akan menciptakan ruang di mana perempuan dan anak-anak dapat tumbuh tanpa rasa ketakutan dan trauma, serta berdaya untuk mengatasi tantangan kehidupan modern. Dengan demikian, artikel ini menggarisbawahi perlunya perubahan budaya patriarki dan peningkatan kesadaran terhadap kekerasan perempuan dan anak-anak. Melalui pendekatan konseling dan pendidikan seksual yang tepat, diharapkan perempuan dan anak-anak dapat mengatasi dampak kekerasan, tumbuh dengan penuh percaya diri, dan menjalani hidup yang lebih baik dalam lingkungan yang nyaman dan aman.
