Abstract

The objective of this business plan-model research is to analyze the religious tourism product diversification plan at PT AlKahfi Indah Utama, an umrah and hajj travel agency in Sukoharjo, Central Java. This study was conducted due to the decrease in the travel agency’s income and the high potential of religious tourism business in the future. The data of this qualitative developmental research was harvested from interviews, surveys, and document studies. The results of the analysis indicate that PT AlKahfi Indah Utama has high potentials and numerous opportunities to develop and diversify its products according to the current market needs and preferences. The developed products are those related to international religious tourism. In order to market these products, the company advertised through social media, websites, and brochures as well as making partnership with other parties. Such diversification is expected to bring positive effect to the company’s income, business sustainability, and customer loyalty.   Abstrak Penelitian berbentuk Business Plan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis rencana diversifikasi produk wisata religi pada PT. AlKahfi Indah Utama, sebuah biro umroh dan haji di Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah adanya penurunan pendapatan pada PT. AlKahfi Indah Utama dan tingginya potensi wisata religi di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan sifat penelitian pengembangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, survei, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT. AlKahfi Indah Utama memiliki potensi dan peluang untuk mengembangkan produk diversifikasi wisata religi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan minat pasar. Produk diversifikasi yang dirancang adalah paket wisata religi internasional. Strategi pemasaran yang digunakan melalui media sosial, situs web, brosur, dan kerja sama dengan pihak lain. Diversifikasi produk wisata religi terhadap pendapatan PT. AlKahfi Indah Utama diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan pendapatan, keberlanjutan bisnis, dan loyalitas pelanggan.

Abstract

Rivalries in the increasingly competitive culinary business has urged MSME in food and beverage sector to apply more effective strategies. The objective of this research is to enhance the business performance of Pecel Lesehan Pak Kasto using the human-centered business marketing strategy. The incorporated design thinking consists of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. The methods above led to the identification that customers do not merely seek physical fulfillment for food they also expect culinary experiences. The developed marketing strategy encompasses strengthening brand identity, enhancing service quality, and creating culinary unique experiences. This study finds that the application of this strategy improves brand awareness, customer satisfaction, and loyalty from both customers and potential customers. This research significantly contributes to the development of marketing sciences by highlighting the importance of human-centered design, particularly in culinary, for formulating effective marketing strategies. Using customers as the main factor for development, culinary entrepreneurs can establish a strong and continuous relationship with their customers and create sustainable competitive advantages. The findings above implied the necessity for culinary businesspeople to update their knowledge about customer needs and expectations as well as to adapt with changes in consumer trends.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the blood supply inventory control at the Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD) of PMI of Malang city, in response to its suboptimal management. Data shows that there were 15 stockouts and 19 overstocks during the 34-month period from January 2022 to October 2024. This study incorporates the deterministic Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, combined with safety stock and reorder point methods. All of which were performed to optimize the blood supply inventory control and to minimize the total inventory cost for all blood types-A, B, O and AB. The Holt’s exponential smoothing was applied to the data pattern indicate certain identifiable trends. The result of the calculations predict the optimal quantity of blood bags for each resupply period, the optimal safety stock, and the optimal reorder point for each blood type. Further, the EOQ method was found to be able to cut the total inventory cost by more than 50% each year for every blood type.
