Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian yaitu 15 aanak terdiri dari 7 anak laki-laki dan 8 anak perempuan. Hal ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan anak dalam mengenal huruf di RA Habiby. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian yaitu berupa observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar obsevasi yang berbentuk cheklist. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media kartu huruf dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Pelaksanaan penerapan media kartu huruf siklus 1 ke siklus 2 sebesar 53% MB, dan meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus 2 sebesar 33% MB dan 66,6% BSH. Langkah-langkah penggunaan media kartu huruf dapat meningkatkan kemempuan mengenal huruf sebagai berikut: 1, Setiap kelompok memperoleh kartu huruf, 2. Guru memperkenalkan huruf vokal terlebih dahulu, 3, mengenalkan huruf konsonan, 4. Anak dibimbing untuk menyebutkan huruf kemudian disatuakan menjadi kata.

Abstract

Technological advancements have permeated the field of education, including the use of multimedia-based learning materials in the learning process. This study aims to help students of the Department of Physical Education at Universitas Riau overcome the obstacles they face when writing scientific papers, especially when preparing a thesis. By harnessing the potential of TikTok social media as a learning resource, it is anticipated that students’ interest and motivation, especially in scientific writing, will be enhanced. This research adopts a quantitative descriptive approach and employs the survey method, utilisingutilizing a questionnaire as the research instrument and descriptive statistics as the data analysis technique. The population and sample of this study consisted of 26 students from the 2020 class of the Department of Physical Education at Universitas Riau. Findings showed that 9 students (34.6%) strongly agreed, 10 students (38.5%) agreed, and 7 students (26.9%) expressed neutrality towards utilizing TikTok social media as a learning medium. The results suggest that TikTok social media can serve as a catalyst for students’ curiosity, facilitating the learning of scientific writing, and fostering increased enthusiasm and interest in the learning process. Future research should consider expanding the sample size and incorporating comparison groups to gain further insights in this field. This study contributes by providing initial evidence on the potential of TikTok as a learning resource, highlighting its impact on students’ motivation and interest in scientific writing, and identifying opportunities for integrating social media in higher education to overcome writing obstacles.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. This research is motivated by the results of the 60 meter run conducted by the fifth grade students of primary school negeri 009 Simpang Kubu, Kampar Regency, which is not optimal and not appropriate in its implementation. Materials and methods. Research Methods This research uses a pre-experimental method with One Group, namely Pre-test and Post-test Design. The data collection technique was simple random sampling with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon test, Paired Sample T-test. Results. Data analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon test, Paired Sample T-test. The results of the study based on the statistical output of "Test Statistics", it is known that Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) is worth 0.000. Because the value of 0.000 is less than 0.05. It can be concluded that "there is a significant difference between pre-test scores and post-test scores. Conclusions. The conclusion in this study is that there is a significant effect between this interval exercise and the results of a 60 meters run on fifth grade students of primary school Negeri 009, Kampar Regency.

Abstract

Traditional games are folk games that are inherited or developed from generation to generation in a particular area or culture. Traditional games are usually played in groups indoors or outdoors using simple equipment available in the surrounding environment with a fun nature. This study aims to identify and analyze children's characters developed through the application of traditional games. The type of qualitative research with descriptive analysis methods. Literature review of relevant journal articles from Google Scholar , articles are limited to publications in 2024 with the search keywords "character education, character, traditional games and children" is a data collection technique in this study. The focus of the study is a literature review of various types of traditional games and the character values of children developed through these games. Traditional games are not only a means of entertainment, but also contain character values that are important for the formation of good personality and social interaction in children. Based on the Analysis of Character Values in the journal on the formation of children's character through traditional games in 2024, eleven character values were obtained, including the characters of honesty, sportsmanship, justice, responsibility, cooperation, discipline, creativity, hard work, independence, control or self-control and tolerance.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) plays a critical role in laying the foundation for holistic child development, including gross motor skills. Teachers’ competence in assessing gross motor development is essential for early identification of developmental needs. This article explores the role of continuous training and mentoring in enhancing the assessment competence of prospective ECE teachers. Utilizing an educational action research approach, the program involved interactive training and eight weeks of field mentoring. Results show significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, technical assessment skills, and professional attitudes. The program demonstrates the effectiveness of combining theory and practice through experiential learning, scaffolding, and systematic reflection in developing adaptive and reflective early childhood educators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecemasan pertandingan terhadap performa pemain sepakbola. Kecemasan merupakan salah satu faktor psikologis yang dapat memengaruhi konsentrasi, koordinasi, dan performa Teknik selama pertandingan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 80 pemain sepakbola pria berusia 18-25 tahun yang tergabung dalam liga kampus di Provinsi Riau. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner CSAI-2 (Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2) serta catatan statistik performa pertandingan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kecemasan kognitif dengan akurasi passing (r = -0.42; p < 0.01), dan antara kecemasan somatik dengan kontribusi gol/assist (r = -0.30; p < 0.05). Temuan ini mendukung pentingnya pelatihan pengelolaan kecemasan melalui strategi coping seperti self-talk dan relaksasi dalam rangka meningkatkan performa pemain di lapangan
