Abstract

This study aimed to improve students’ reading comprehension through the use of magazines. The research was conducted at SMPN 2 Lasusua with 26 first-grade students as the subjects. The researcher employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, implemented in two cycles, to enhance the learning process and students’ comprehension skills. Each cycle included planning, action, observation, and reflection stages.  Data were collected using reading comprehension tests administered at the end of each cycle. The findings demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ reading comprehension scores across the two cycles. The average score increased from 61.1 in Cycle 1 to 83.3 in Cycle 2. This improvement was particularly evident in students’ ability to identify main ideas, a critical component of reading comprehension. Observation of classroom activities also indicated increased student engagement and motivation during learning sessions using magazines.  The results suggest that incorporating magazines into reading instruction can serve as an effective pedagogical strategy for enhancing comprehension skills. The visual and contextual support provided by magazines helps students to connect text with real-life contexts, facilitating better understanding and retention of information.  Based on these findings, it is recommended that English teachers integrate magazines as supplementary materials in reading lessons. Additionally, further research can explore the effectiveness of different types of magazines or other authentic materials to improve students’ higher-order reading skills. This study highlights the importance of active, student-centered approaches in fostering literacy and comprehension in secondary education.

Abstract

Artikel ini berkenaan dengan Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Inklusi di RA DWP 1 KANWIL Departemen Agama Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah dengan rumusan masalah: 1) Bagaimana penerapan model Pembelajaran inklusi di RA DWP 1 KANWIL. 2) Apakah faktor penghambat dalam menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Inklusi di RA DWP 1 KANWIL. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, tehnik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (a). Penerapan model Pembelajaran inklusi di RA DWP 1 KANWIL dilaksanakan dengan menggabungkan antara anak berkebutuhan khusus, tanpa menggunakan kelas yang berbentuk reguler agar kiranya anak berkebutuhan khusus melihat bahwasanya mereka diperlakukan sama dengan anak normal lainnya dan proses pembelajran dengan cara mengulangi beberapa kali materi yang diberikan. Faktor penghambat dalam menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Inklusi di RA DWP 1 KANWIL Tengah: terbagi menjadi 4 yaitu: 1. Keterbatasan kapasitas kognitif, 2. Memori atau Daya Ingat Rendah, 3. Gangguan dan kurang konsentrasi, 4. Ketidakmampuan mengungkapkan ide. Implikasi penelitian pertama, kepada kepala sekolah diharapkan lebih memperhatikan sarana dan prasarana khususnya meja dan kursi sebagai tempat belajar yang ada dikelas, kepada guru diharapkan meningkatkan kualitas mengajarnya tentang penerapan metode tanya jawab menggunakan media kartu bergambar dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa anak, dan diharapkan para guru mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang bersifat menarik sehingga anak tidak merasa bosan pada saat proses pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan berbahasa anak didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pemberian kredit berbasis financial technology peer-to-peer (P2P) lending pada Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Loli Pesua. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemahaman proses dan mekanisme yang terlibat dalam penggunaan teknologi finansial sebagai sarana pemberian kredit kepada UMKM. Teknologi finansial berbasis P2P lending menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi keterbatasan akses UMKM terhadap sumber pendanaan konvensional, sekaligus mempercepat proses perolehan dana melalui sistem digital yang efisien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pemberian kredit berbasis financial technology peer-to-peer lending pada UMKM di Loli Pesua dilakukan melalui mekanisme online yang memungkinkan pelaku usaha memperoleh dana dengan cepat. Proses ini melibatkan pemberian fasilitas kredit langsung dari fintech kepada UMKM berdasarkan sistem P2P lending, di mana pelaku usaha dapat mengajukan pinjaman secara langsung tanpa melalui perantara lembaga keuangan tradisional. Dengan menggunakan platform digital, proses pemberian kredit menjadi lebih sederhana, cepat, dan transparan, sehingga memberikan kemudahan bagi UMKM dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pendanaan mereka

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1). Untuk mengetahui pengaruh viral marketing, brand image dan positive emotional experience terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen memilih mixue cabang inpres kota palu. 2). Untuk mengetahui pengaruh viral marketing terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen memilih mixue cabang inpres kota palu. 3). Untuk mengetahui pengaruh brand image terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen meilih mixue cabang inpres kota palu. 4). Untuk mengetahui pengaruh positive emotional experience terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen memilih mixue cabang inpres kota palu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup keseluruhan konsumen yang pernah membeli di mixue cabang inpres kota palu Metode yang digunakan Penelilti adalah explanative research dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan alat bantu koesioner terhadap 77 responden. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa melihat hubungan antara ketiga variabel bebas Viral marketing, Brand image Dan Positive emotionl experience Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian 0.655 artinya hubungan variabel bebas (independen) terhadap variabel terikat (dependen) adalah kuat. R Square atau koefisien determinasi (R2) adalah melihat pengaruh antara Viral marketing, Brand image dan Positive emotional experience Terhadap Keputusan pembelian memilih mixue cabang inpres kota Palu. 429 sebesar 0.429 atau 42% artinya pengaruh variabel bebas (independen) terhadap variabel terikat (dependen) sebesar 42% sedangkan sisanya 58% adalah pengaruh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Kata Kunci: Viral marketing,Brand image, Positive emotional experience dan Keputusan pembelian

Abstract

This study examines how climate justice was discursively constructed in official statements delivered at the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Egypt. It aims to identify and compare the discursive strategies used by a representative developed actor, the European Union, and a developing actor, Pakistan speaking for the Group of 77 and China, and to analyze how linguistic features frame Loss and Damage as either historical responsibility and compensation or as a technical capacity issue. Employing a descriptive qualitative design grounded in Norman Fairclough's three-dimensional model of Critical Discourse Analysis, the research analyzes textual data from the two actors' public statements using a systematic procedure that includes keyword identification, grammatical and lexical analysis, and contextual interpretation. The findings reveal a clear discursive divergence: Pakistan constructs climate justice as a demand for reparative justice based on historical responsibility. In contrast, the European Union frames the issue as a capacity gap, privileging procedural solutions, and funding arrangements that depoliticize liability. The conference outcome to establish a Loss and Damage fund constituted a symbolic success for justice claims but adopted flexible, non-binding arrangements that preserve developed actors' influence.
