Abstract

Receiving subsidized rice assistance (RASKIN) is a government program to distribute basic food assistance to underprivileged families. The distribution is carried out once every three months in accordance with the predetermined allocation. However, in practice, there are still often inaccurate targets in determining beneficiaries. This research aims to assist the village government in determining the eligibility of prospective RASKIN beneficiaries objectively and on target. The classification model used is Support Vector Machine (SVM) with the Library for Support Vector Machine (LibSVM) approach, combined with the Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) method. To improve classification performance, model parameter optimization is performed using the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel is used in this process. The evaluation results show that the LibSVM model optimized with PSO is able to achieve an accuracy rate of 92.21%. The proposed model is expected to be an effective decision support system in selecting recipients of government social assistance more fairly and efficiently.

Abstract

Kegiatan administrasi kesiswaan merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam mendukung efektivitas manajemen sekolah. Namun, masih banyak sekolah dasar yang menghadapi kendala dalam mengelola data administrasi siswa karena keterbatasan sumber daya teknologi serta kurangnya pemahaman tenaga kependidikan terhadap penggunaan sistem informasi. SD Swasta Singosari Delitua merupakan salah satu sekolah yang masih menggunakan cara manual dalam pengolahan data kesiswaan, sehingga menimbulkan potensi kesalahan pencatatan, duplikasi data, dan keterlambatan dalam penyajian informasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi melalui penerapan sistem informasi sederhana berbasis aplikasi Microsoft Excel yang mudah digunakan, fleksibel, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui tahap analisis kebutuhan, pembuatan template sistem informasi, pelatihan penggunaan kepada staf administrasi, serta pendampingan implementasi dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem berbasis Excel mampu meningkatkan keakuratan, kecepatan, dan efisiensi dalam pengolahan data administrasi kesiswaan. Selain itu, staf administrasi juga menjadi lebih terampil dalam memanfaatkan teknologi sederhana untuk menunjang pekerjaannya. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam mendukung tata kelola administrasi sekolah yang lebih efektif dan akuntabel.

Abstract

Special School (SLB) is a means of gaining knowledge for children with special needs. The quality of the school is inseparable from the quality of the teachers who provide teaching and education. Selecting prospective teachers who will teach and educate in schools is one way to improve school quality. Teacher recruitment is carried out to find teaching staff that suits the needs of the school based on the criteria determined by the school. Acceptance of teaching staff at this school is only by interview tests without going through the selection stage to see the talents and abilities of prospective teaching staff, after which the school negotiates by asking the teacher's approval for the acceptance of prospective teachers, so that the quality of prospective teachers to teach students with special needs is not so prominent, which results in ineffective criteria for the desired teacher to care for or guide students. A system that can help produce accurate assessment results by implementing a Decision Support System (SPK) is needed. One of the decision support system methods is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method is a method that uses several assessment criteria that are important factors in the selection of teacher acceptance. The assessment criteria include education, experience, age, and the results of oral tests and interviews. From the results of these criteria will produce the assessment weight of each prospective teaching staff, then calculations will be carried out to find the ranking results based on the highest to lowest priorities. This research produces an information system to assist leaders in making the right decisions in the process of recruiting teaching staff at SLB Pondok Anugerah by applying the SAW method.

Abstract

When in the business world an entrepreneur must have a goal to do business, namely how his business gets good profits by providing the goods and services needed to run his business process. Internet technology is currently developing very rapidly. The existence of the internet can support the expected goals to the maximum. Therefore Printing Adil Grafika is an entrepreneurial business engaged in printing. Printing Adil Grafika often experiences many obstacles in its business processes, namely frequent mistakes in making plaques in the form of price orders that do not match the capital costs in making plaques so that the company loses in buying the material, then the absence of price provisions that make only provide prices according to calculations, many complaints from customers about delays from the hour that should have been completed in making plaques, as well as many customer complaints about other errors. With these various problems, an application is needed to determine the price of the plaque processing time fund so that it matches the standard price and processing time in the printing company adil grafika. The research method used is a data collection method consisting of field research and library research while the system development method used is the simple additive weighting (SAW) method. The results of system testing using black box testing show that the system runs according to the expected results. The result is a Decision Support System to Determine the Accuracy of Estimated Price and Working Time in Plaque Making Using the Saw Method which can reduce complaints from customers and can make it easier for companies to determine the price of plaques, on time workmanship, and also follow standards in making plaques.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and implement a Decision Support System (DSS) to determine the success rate of teachers in teaching at SD Nur Fadhillah Medan using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method was chosen because of its ability to provide an objective assessment through a weighted summation process of each evaluated criterion. This research involves several assessment criteria such as pedagogical competence, communication skills, attendance, and feedback from students. The data obtained is processed using the SAW method to produce a final score that describes the success rate of each teacher. The results of this research are expected to help the school in making more effective and objective decisions related to teacher performance evaluation, so as to improve the quality of education in the school. Thus, the implementation of this DSS is expected to be a useful tool for school managers in identifying areas of improvement and giving proper appreciation to teachers.

Abstract

Penggunaan gadget di kalangan anak usia dini semakin meningkat, memerlukan perhatian khusus dalam mendukung perkembangan kognitif, sosial, dan emosional mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi program edukasi gadget berbasis multimedia di Sanggar Keadilan SMH-Indonesia. Program ini dirancang untuk mengajarkan penggunaan gadget secara bijak dan positif, dengan memanfaatkan alat bantu multimedia interaktif yang menarik perhatian anak-anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia interaktif dalam program edukasi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman anak-anak tentang penggunaan gadget yang sehat, serta mendorong keterlibatan mereka dalam aktivitas edukatif yang bermakna. Selain itu, program ini juga membantu mengurangi ketergantungan anak terhadap penggunaan gadget untuk hiburan semata. Implementasi program ini memberikan wawasan baru bagi para pendidik dan orang tua tentang pentingnya pengelolaan penggunaan teknologi pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berjudul "Pengenalan Penggunaan Smartphone yang Aman dan Edukatif untuk Anak-Anak Sekolah Dasar di Sanggar Keadilan SMH-Indonesia" bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan anak-anak dalam menggunakan smartphone secara bijak dan aman. Program ini mencakup edukasi keamanan digital, pemanfaatan aplikasi edukatif, dan pengawasan orang tua melalui workshop interaktif dan pendampingan. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman anak-anak tentang keamanan digital dan penggunaan aplikasi edukatif, serta peningkatan keterlibatan orang tua dalam membimbing anak-anak mereka. Program ini berhasil mencapai tujuannya dan mendapatkan respons positif dari peserta, orang tua, dan guru, dengan harapan dapat direplikasi di komunitas lain untuk melindungi dan mendidik generasi muda dalam memanfaatkan teknologi secara bijak dan aman.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Ujung Batu III Padang Lawas melalui pelatihan penggunaan teknologi digital. Dalam era digital saat ini, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi sangat penting bagi pengembangan usaha, terutama bagi UMKM yang sering kali menghadapi tantangan dalam pemasaran, manajemen, dan akses informasi. Kegiatan ini melibatkan serangkaian pelatihan yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterampilan digital para pelaku UMKM, termasuk penggunaan media sosial untuk pemasaran, aplikasi manajemen usaha, dan platform e-commerce. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah pendekatan partisipatif, di mana peserta diajak untuk aktif berinteraksi dan berbagi pengalaman. Hasil yang diharapkan dari pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan digital para pelaku UMKM, yang pada gilirannya dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan produktivitas usaha mereka. Selain itu, diharapkan adanya peningkatan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Desa Ujung Batu III. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada pengembangan UMKM, tetapi juga pada pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal secara keseluruhan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi pengembangan program serupa di daerah lain, serta mendorong kolaborasi antara pemerintah, akademisi, dan masyarakat dalam upaya pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

Usaha Kecil Dan Menengah (UKM) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian, namun sering menghadapi kendala dalam pemasaran produk akibat keterbatasan desain kemasan yang menarik dan profesional. UD. Kreasi Lutvi, sebagai salah satu UKM yang bergerak di bidang produksi keripik, membutuhkan peningkatan kualitas desain produk untuk meningkatkan daya saing di pasar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan desain produk bagi pemilik dan karyawan UD. Kreasi Lutvi dengan memanfaatkan Canva sebagai alat bantu desain yang mudah diakses dan digunakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan meliputi penyampaian materi, praktik langsung, serta sesi evaluasi untuk memastikan peserta memahami konsep desain dan mampu mengaplikasikannya pada produk mereka. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam mendesain kemasan produk secara lebih kreatif dan menarik. Dengan adanya desain kemasan yang lebih profesional, diharapkan UD. Kreasi Lutvi dapat meningkatkan daya tarik produknya, memperluas jangkauan pasar, serta meningkatkan nilai jual produk.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR) based learning media as an educational tool to introduce computer components to high school students. AR technology was chosen because of its ability to present information interactively and realistically, so that it can improve concept understanding and motivate students in learning technical material. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). In the development stage, the AR application was designed to visualize computer components in three dimensions (3D), equipped with function descriptions and interactive animations. Product testing was carried out through validation by media experts and material experts, as well as a limited trial to class XI students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) in one of the high schools in Medan City. Data was obtained through questionnaires to measure media feasibility and interviews to evaluate students' responses to the application. The results showed that this AR-based learning media was very valid with an average score of 91% in the expert validation test and received positive responses from students with a satisfaction level of 89%. The use of AR applications is proven to be able to improve students' understanding of computer components, as evidenced by an increase in pretest to posttest scores by 35%. In conclusion, this AR-based learning media is effective and feasible to use as an educational tool in high schools, especially in the introduction of computer components.
