Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the legal application of elopement marriage (sirī) after the Constitutional Court Decision Number 46/PUU-VIII/2010. This research is a qualitative research and the type of research is library research. The data collection method used is literature study. The results showed that; the legal application of elopement marriage (sirī) after the decision of the Constitutional Court Number 46/PUU-VII/2010 has been regulated in Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 9 of 1975. This is a positive law that must be followed by all Indonesian citizens. The application of this law is in line with religious values in the context of the Indonesian nation, in accordance with the Pancasila. The impact of this decision also changes people's attitudes towards siri marriage because children born from elopement marriage (sirī) still have a right recognized by the state. The message conveyed in this decision encourages people to understand the importance of legal recognition and marriage registration to protect the rights of children born from elopement marriage (sirī).

Abstract

Electricity is a basic necessity in daily life. The 3.55% increase in electricity distribution to Indonesian households has driven people to seek alternative clean energy sources, considering that the majority of energy comes from fossil fuels with high carbon emissions. The government-owned electric power provider has begun to face high levels of complaints, prompting a review of service quality by Law No. 20 of 2002. This study employs a questionnaire method, processed using the Kano model, to analyze the performance of service quality variables provided by a government-owned electric power provider. Based on the Kano analysis, three categories of attributes need to be considered to improve customer satisfaction: One-Dimensional (must be prioritized), Attractive (needs to be maintained), and Indifferent (less attention needed). The one dimensional attributes involve power quality, output stability, service satisfaction, responsiveness during disturbances, service usage costs, and frequency of power disturbances. The better and worse assessments indicate that output stability, electricity costs, and responsiveness during disturbances have a significant impact on increasing customer satisfaction, while their inadequacy in these attributes can lead to a significant decrease in satisfaction.

Abstract

This study analyzes the story of the Prophet Yunus A. S. in QS. Verses 142–144 of As-Saffat are often discussed from modern rational and scientific perspectives, particularly regarding the possibility of human survival in the belly of a large fish. This discussion shows the conflict between religious interpretations and modern biological logic, which is increasingly gaining strength in the digital world. This research aims to reconstruct the understanding of the story of the Prophet Yunus through the maqashidi interpretation, as an effort to address rational skepticism without ignoring the theological truth in the Qur’an. The method used is qualitative research using literature studies, which includes analysis of relevant verses, books of interpretation from the past and modern, and related scientific sources. The findings of the study show that the word al-ḥut does not refer to a specific species of fish, but rather to a category of large fish as a whole, so it is not limited by modern biological assumptions. In addition, the story of the Prophet Yunus is understood as a theological reality that a combination of literal and symbolic meanings can explain. Using the tafsir of Maqashidi di, this story affirms the divine purpose in terms of soul protection, spiritual strengthening, and civility in preaching, so that it remains relevant to face the challenges of modern-day rationality.
