Abstract

The relationship between technology and education has been going on for quite a long time. The use of information and communication technology for learning is increasingly developing. With the idea of ​​developing the internet of things (IoT), the use of technology for learning is increasingly showing significant progress. As a consequence, life activities are very dependent on the Internet, one of which is carrying out the education process. Considering the enormous potential for development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, knowledge about this technology and how to use it in everyday life is very necessary. SMAN 1 Kepahyang has development potential in utilizing IoT technology, but requires training in its use in education. For this reason, the Faculty of Computer Science, Dehasen University, Bengkulu conducted community service regarding IoT technology to students at SMAN 1 Kepahyang. Material related to IoT is provided in stages from introduction to practical use of IoT in everyday life. The results of the training show that the students gained knowledge about how to use IoT in education

Abstract

This study applies Data Mining using the Clustering method to determine the amount of production based on the level of product sales at PT. Coca Cola Distribution Indonesia Bengkulu branch. The algorithm used is K-Means Clustering, where data grouped based on the same characteristics will be included in the same group and the data sets entered into the groups do not overlap. The information displayed is in the form of product data groups based on the level of sales, so that it is known the amount of production at PT. Coca Cola Distribution Indonesia which is adjusted to product clusters with high, medium and low sales levels, resulting in product clusters that could be utilized by PT. Coca Cola Distribution Indonesia in determining the number of production of the next product

Abstract

The purpose of implementing Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) with the Learning Vector Quanzition (LVQ) algorithm is to be used as a fingerprint identifier. So with this application can determine who owns the fingerprint in accordance with the database that has. In identifying fingerprints, the Learning Vector Quanzition method is very good, because it can measure the value of a fingerprint image that has been taken either by using a camera or scanner. In identifying fingerprints, it is expected that the fingerprint image input into the database should be from a photo or scanner that has clear and bright results, because this will affect the fingerprint search in the futures.

Abstract

This research was conducted to build a hotspot network server monitoring system and implement a hotspot network server management system and hotspot network users. In this study using the Experiment research method. In this study, a web-based proxy hotspot server monitoring application was designed. The results of the experiment are then documented to analyze so that the right recommendations are produced for designing a web-based proxy hotspot server monitoring application. From the results of this analysis, conclusions will be drawn about the benefits, functions and advantages of the system that has been built. The results of this study indicate that the web-based proxy hotspot server monitoring application can be applied to hotspot servers on proxy routers, where the test results show that the application can monitor users with the results there is 1 user who is active using user1 login and getting IP address 10.5.50.253 with an uptime of 1 minute 49 seconds. This application will display all users who are using the hotspot network, where the number of users displayed will adjust how many users are currently connected. The hotspot server monitoring application can also monitor the amount of download (RX) traffic of 14.04 MB and upload (TX) of 2.43 MB on the ether1 interface and the amount of download (RX) traffic of 2.44 MB and upload (TX) of 14.47 MB on the ether2 interface. The amount of this traffic depends on the use of the hotspot network by users in the hotspot network. In addition, this application can also monitor hotspot server logs by displaying activities that are happening on the proxy router such as login request activities, IP address requests, login attempts by users and others. This application can also be used for hotspot user management where test results show the application can add and also delete users who can connect to the hotspot network.

Abstract

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has brought significant impacts on various aspects of life, including the management and monitoring of public facilities. One of the public facilities that requires monitoring the number of visitors isTelkom Plaza Bengkulu. The main problem atTelkom Plaza Bengkulu is the absence of an effective monitoring system that tracks the number of visitors and room temperature in real time. The purpose of this research is to design a system that can monitor the number of visitors and room temperature automatically, help management make decisions, and optimize services. The research is expected to contribute to the development of information technology in the management of public facilities in the digital era. The method used is an experimental method to design an IoT-based monitoring system. This system uses PIR and DHT22 sensors as input for ESP32, then displays data on the number of visitors and room temperature in real-time through the website and smartphone application using the Blynk IoT platform, as well as automatic fan operation based on room temperature. The test results show the success of the IoT-based monitoring system for the number of visitors and room temperature of Plaza Telkom. The PIR sensor detects movement up to a distance of 2 meters. DHT22 sensor measures temperature with an accuracy of ±0.02%. The relay module controls the fan responsively. Blynk dashboard displays real-time data. The user interface works on laptops and smartphones, providing consistent access and display. An IoT-based monitoring system for the number of visitors and room temperature forTelkom Plaza Bengkulu was successfully designed and implemented. This system fulfills the research objectives and can be applied in other Plaza Telkom locations, although there is still a need for improvement and room for further development.

Abstract

The development of computer networks has reached various aspects of life, with its wide use by groups and individuals. Computer network technology is very important because it has many advantages, such as developing a Wi-Fi 6-based computer network at LPK Sulthoon 4M to improve network performance and overcome the obstacles of slow connections that often occur when many devices are connected. The research method used is a field research approach with the stages of observation, interviews, documentation, and network quality testing. The network development process was conducted through the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method, which includes requirements analysis, topology design, Wi-Fi 6 device implementation, and network performance testing based on Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, such as throughput, delay, jitter, and packet loss. The test results show a significant increase in data transfer speed with an average throughput of 5,049.71 kbps and a packet loss rate of 0%, and an average delay of 6.55 ms. The implementation of Wi-Fi 6 is proven effective in improving network stability and speed, thus supporting the smooth running of digital-based learning activities at LPK Sulthoon 4M.

Abstract

Bengkulu Provincial Library is a place, building or room to store books and other reading material organized and administered for reading, consultation and study in Bengkulu City. Increasing library materials in the library aka cause visitors have difficulty to find the desired book. To overcome this made the information system looking for books to facilitate the visitors find the desired book. This system is implemented using Sequential Search method, which is the process method for each element of the array one by one in a row, starting from the first element until the element is searched or all elements have been checked. Book search information system uses database system design and process design. The design process is. Which by the data flow diagram (DAD). Information System Search books generated can facilitate library visitors in searching the desired book.

Abstract

The ability of expert systems to complete the various tasks that are usually done by experts to be the main attraction for the system. Expert systems have been used as tools in various areas of life. One example of an application that can be made is the Expert System disorder Tuna Grahita in children using Certainty Factor method. This method is used to see the level of interest that is growing with the existence of this expert system can allow users to be rewarded online. Abstract

Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Bengkulu adalah suatu tempat, gedung atau ruangan untuk menyimpan buku-buku dan bahan bacaan lainnya yang diorganisasikan dan diadministrasikan untuk bacaan, konsultasi dan studi. Bertambahnya bahan pustaka yang ada di perpustakaan aka menyebabkan pengunjung mengalami kesulitan untuk menemukan buku yang diinginkan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut sangat diperlukan adanya e-library untuk memudahkan pengunjung menemukan buku yang diinginkan melalui internet. E-library menggunakan perancangan sistem basis data dan perancangan proses. Perancangan proses yaitu menggambarkan bagaimana proses dalam sistem informasi yang ditunjukkan oleh diagram arus data (DAD). E-library yang dihasilkan dapat mempermudah siswa/pengunjung dalam melakukan pencarian buku yang diinginkan melalui internet.
