Abstract

Bengkulu Provincial Library is a place, building or room to store books and other reading material organized and administered for reading, consultation and study in Bengkulu City. Increasing library materials in the library aka cause visitors have difficulty to find the desired book. To overcome this made the information system looking for books to facilitate the visitors find the desired book. This system is implemented using Sequential Search method, which is the process method for each element of the array one by one in a row, starting from the first element until the element is searched or all elements have been checked. Book search information system uses database system design and process design. The design process is. Which by the data flow diagram (DAD). Information System Search books generated can facilitate library visitors in searching the desired book.

Abstract

Security and confidentiality of data is currently a very important issue and continues to grow. Some cases involving data security is now a job that requires handling and security costs so much. To maintain the security and confidentiality of messages, data, or information that can not be read or understood by any person, except for recipients who are entitled, then the application of a safety system designed by the method of data encryption using the RC4 algorithm. RC4 (Rivest Cipher 4) is a Synchrone stream cipher, which has a symmetric key cipher and encrypt the plaintext digits are digits per byte by byte or by combining with a binary operation XOR with a random numbers

Abstract

The ability of expert systems to complete the various tasks that are usually done by experts to be the main attraction for the system. Expert systems have been used as tools in various areas of life. One example of an application that can be made is the Expert System disorder Tuna Grahita in children using Certainty Factor method. This method is used to see the level of interest that is growing with the existence of this expert system can allow users to be rewarded online. System using PHP Programming Language and MySQL Database. The expert system generated can help users to diagnose the type of disorder Tuna Grahita and provide solutions to the disease online. Abstract

The increasing use of information and electronic technology has positive and negative impacts on daily life. Information and electronic technology facilitate communication, access to information, and business transactions. Digital utilization is one of the instruments of progress but also has the potential to become a problem if used inappropriately. Therefore, a legal product was made in the form of legislation which is a legal guideline that becomes an instrument for the implementation of Indonesia as a state of law, namely the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (ITE Law) which was issued as an effort to regulate the governance of information and electronic technology in Indonesia. In this context, the socialization activities to increase awareness of the importance of legal awareness and the rules contained in the ITE Law for the community in RT 23 Pematang Gubernur Village, this journal discusses the strategies applied in the Community Service Program (KKN) to increase community awareness of the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (ITE Law) and the use of technology in the digital era. The methods used include socialization, training, and the use of digital technology. Results showed an increase in community understanding of social media ethics and the risks of violating the law.

Abstract

Bombaru Bar dan Resto merupakan salah satu restoran yang ramai dikunjungi masaryakat Kota Bengkulu. Namun pada saat ini  Bombaru Bar dan Resto masih menggunakan cara manual untuk pemesanan makanan dan minuman dimana pelayan menggunakan kertas dan pena/pensil sebagai media untuk mencatat dan memesan makanan dan minuman yang dipesan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan Sistem E-Kasir Bombaru Bar dan Resto Kota Bengkulu Berbasis Android Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode Waterfall, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi menggunakan Apliikasi Android Srudio. Aplikasi pemesanan menu makanan dan minuman yang langsung terhubung ke meja kasir untuk mengetahui total pembayaran.  Berdasarkan pengujian black-box, seluruh sistem dinyatakan valid 100%, memastikan sistem berfungsi sesuai spesifikasi. Sistem ini terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi waktu, akurasi data, dan kemudahan akses Aplikasi ini dirancang menggunakan Android Studio dan Bahasa Pemrograman PHP dan Database MySQL. Aplikasi yang dihasilkan dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi pihak Bombaru Bar dan Resto Bengkulu dalam memproses data pemesanan menu  dan pembayaran di kasir.

Abstract

Abstract: The Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia is an institution tasked with supervising the administration of public services and handling community complaint reports related to allegations of maladministration. The purpose of this research is to create a decision support system using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, which facilitates the determination of priority handling of community complaint reports at the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Bengkulu Representation. This decision support system is built on a web-based platform using PHP programming language with a MySQL database that can be accessed offline by the admin of the Ombudsman. With the existence of this priority recommendation, it is expected that work will become more effective and efficient, as resources can be focused on reports that most need attention. Based on the test data used, which consists of 12 Community Complaint Reports from July 2024, it was found that the priority handling recommendations for community complaint reports were derived from 3 reports with the highest final AHP values. The recommended priority handling reports are registration number 0021/LM/VII/2024/BKL with a final AHP value of 2.074, registration number 0020/LM/VII/2024/BKL with a final AHP value of 1.964, and registration number 0018/LM/VII/2024/BKL with a final AHP value of 1.866. Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of student dedication to society aimed at applying the knowledge they have acquired in higher education to real-life situations. This study aims to describe the implementation of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) involving KKN students in the management and disposal of waste in Talang Perapat Village, Seluma Barat Sub-district, Seluma Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the KKN activities—which include environmental cleanliness education, the construction of separate waste bins, training on yard utilization, recycling workshops, environmental campaigns, and the establishment of environmental cadres—had a positive impact on changing community behavior. Residents who were previously less concerned about cleanliness began to sort waste, maintain environmental hygiene, and actively participate in community-based clean-up efforts. This program also succeeded in reviving the spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong royong), which had faded due to rapid social changes. By involving all elements of the community, the KKN activities in Talang Perapat Village had a positive impact not only on physical environmental conditions but also on strengthening social values in community life.

Abstract

Community service via Thematic KKN from Bengkulu University established a community waste bank in Talang Dantuk Kelurahan, Seluma Subdistrict, Seluma Regency, to address irrigation pollution from household waste. Participatory methods included socialization, organic-inorganic waste sorting training, and weekly collection operations per Minister of Environment Regulation No. P.95/2016. Results showed active resident participation, reduced wild waste in irrigation, and potential additional income. The waste bank alleviates landfill burdens, protects agricultural infrastructure, and fosters independent environmental awareness. Challenges like limited KKN duration and weather were managed through community coordination. This initiative is recommended for replication in other villages to promote sustainable waste management.
