Abstract

This research aims to discuss the contribution of the Kurikulum Merdeka to efforts to increase literacy skills in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using a literature review. The object of this study is the contribution of the Kurikulum Merdeka to efforts to increase literacy skills in Indonesia. Based on the studies conducted, it is known that there are several Kurikulum Merdeka programs that contribute to efforts to improve literacy skills. These programs are in the form of (1) Cross-Curriculum Literacy; (2) Learning Indonesian; (3) The Role of Teachers and Literacy Programs; (4) Extensive Reading Program; and (5) The Importance of Local Wisdom and Contextual Learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka is an important step in efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, especially in terms of literacy skills. Even though the results cannot be seen immediately, it is hoped that with more flexible and contextual learning strategies, Indonesian students' literacy skills will improve over time.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the enhancement of cultural education and entrepreneurial values among elementary school students through an ethnopedagogical approach in Ensaid Village, West Kalimantan. Cultural education for elementary school students remained suboptimal, resulting in many students being unaware of their traditions and culture. The independent curriculum had mandated cultural education through projects aimed at strengthening the profile of Pancasila students (P5), focusing on themes such as independence.. This research utilized a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, involving respondents including teachers, community members, and tradition activists. All the respondent lived in Ensaid Village West Borneo Kalimantan. The research instruments consist of validated questionnaires created by experts, along with data collection methods that include observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis is conducted concurrently with data collection, employing domain analysis. This involves reviewing the data obtained from observations, interviews, and descriptive notes to validate the findings. Female was 5, and Male was 7. The process of entrepreneurial education could occur both in schools and at home with parents, through both formal and non-formal learning activities. An ethnopedagogical approach served to introduce cultural values that reinforce entrepreneurial learning in schools. One cultural asset that could be utilized was the Ngetau tradition, which teaches students important entrepreneurial values such as hard work, patience, resilience, and diligence.

Abstract

Pendidikan literasi keuangan menjadi sangat penting dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomi global, terutama bagi generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan finansial siswa SMA Negeri 1 Cikakak Sukabumi melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang fokus pada pengelolaan anggaran pribadi dan pengenalan investasi sederhana. Program ini menggunakan metode pelatihan interaktif berbasis simulasi yang melibatkan siswa dalam kegiatan praktis. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman siswa tentang literasi keuangan, dengan skor rata-rata pre-test yang meningkat dari 45 menjadi 82 setelah seminar. Program ini juga berhasil menunjukkan relevansi lokal dalam mengatasi rendahnya literasi keuangan di kalangan siswa. Melalui pendekatan yang berbasis pada kasus nyata dan simulasi praktis, program ini memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam mempersiapkan siswa untuk pengelolaan keuangan yang lebih baik di masa depan. Hasil pengabdian ini dapat dijadikan model untuk program literasi keuangan di sekolah lain, dengan peluang untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut menggunakan teknologi digital dan pelatihan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Global environmental issues such as climate change, ecosystem degradation, and increased waste demand sustainable education strategies to foster pro-environmental awareness and attitudes continuously. Continuing education is an important approach to strengthening environmental education management, as it can shape broader public understanding, skills, and participation. This study aims to analyse the influence of continuing education on environmental education management in educational institutions that have implemented sustainability-based programmes. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The research population comprises educators, educational staff, and participants in environmental education programmes. The Lemeshow technique determined the sample, resulting in 68 respondents selected through purposive sampling based on their active involvement in sustainable education programmes. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale, while data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) method using SmartPLS 4.0. The results showed that continuing education positively affected the effectiveness of environmental education management. Sustainable education has been proven to strengthen the capacity of individuals and institutions to manage environmental education in a consistent, focused, and sustainable manner. These findings confirm that the success of environmental education management depends not only on policies or curricula but also on the quality of the implementation of continuing education carried out systematically. The implications of this research provide a theoretical and practical basis for developing continuing education strategies in supporting environmental education management in various contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana kepemimpinan etis diimplementasikan oleh kepala sekolah menengah atas di Jakarta dalam upaya mempertahankan status akreditasi “sekolah unggul”. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus multi-situs, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi non-partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen di lima SMA negeri yang tersebar di lima wilayah administratif DKI Jakarta. Kepala sekolah yang menjadi subjek penelitian dipilih berdasarkan kriteria kepemimpinan yang terbukti berhasil mempertahankan akreditasi A dan memperoleh penghargaan resmi. Temuan penelitian mengidentifikasi delapan dimensi utama kepemimpinan etis yang konsisten diterapkan: kerendahan hati, komitmen terhadap tugas, kejujuran dan transparansi, keadilan, penghormatan terhadap individu, orientasi pada orang lain, keberanian moral, serta dorongan untuk terus berkembang. Dimensi-dimensi ini membentuk budaya kepercayaan, kolaborasi, dan kinerja berkelanjutan yang krusial dalam menjaga mutu institusi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan etis bukan sekadar tuntutan moral, tetapi juga landasan strategis dalam mempertahankan predikat sekolah unggul di lingkungan pendidikan urban yang kompleks.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan standar penulisan artikel ilmiah berdasarkan SNI ISO 215:2014 di STEI Napala, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode partisipatif dalam bentuk focus group discussion (FGD). Adapun mitra dalam kegiatan ini ialah STEI Napala, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Hasil dalam kegiatan ini menunjukkan perlunya sebuah standar dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah. Hal ini didasarkan karena artikel ilmiah yang dimaksud akan dipergunakan sebagai syarat kelulusan di STEI Napala, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Perumusan standar ini menjadi penting karena pada akhirnya akan menjaga kualitas dan mutu lulusan di STEI Napala, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Adapun yang menjadi sumber rujukan standar dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah ini yaitu berdasarkan SNI ISO 215:2014.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership in overcoming teacher burnout in schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, where data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Techniques for filtering important information, presenting structured data, and drawing accurate conclusions based on existing findings are used to analyze the data. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership in schools plays an important role in overcoming teacher burnout. Idealized influence creates a sense of trust and recognition while inspiring motivation and connects teachers' work to a larger purpose, thereby helping to reduce burnout. Intellectual stimulation encourages creativity and innovation through open communication, which also contributes to preventing burnout. In addition, individual consideration provides personalized support and supports the professional growth and emotional well-being of teachers, thereby reducing the risk of burnout in the school environment. This study provides implications for effective leadership practices in the educational context. It offers insights for principals and education managers to apply a transformational leadership approach to overcome teacher burnout in schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pemimpin dalam mengimplementasikan kebijakan lulusan tanpa skripsi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu peneliti sendiri dengan bantuan alat perekam pada saat wawancara. Objek dalam penelitian ini ialah kebijakan lulusan tanpa skripsi yang diterapkan di STEI Napala, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam pengimplementasian kebijakan tersebut, Pemimpin STEI Napala, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat menerapkan keetisan dalam pengambilan keputusannya. Pemimpin yang etis memiliki kriteria melayani pengikut dan organisasi; berusaha menyeimbangkan dan mengintegrasikan minat yang beragam dari banyak pemangku kepentingan; mengembangkan visi dengan didasarkan pada pasukan pengikut tentang kebutuhan, nilai, dan ide mereka; bertindak dengan cara yang konsisten dengan nilai yang diutarakan; bersedia mengambil risiko dan tindakan pribadi guna mencapai visi dan misi organisasi; melakukan pengungkapan informasi yang lengkap dan tepat waktu tentang peristiwa, masalah, dan tindakan; mendorong evaluasi kritis untuk menemukan solusi yang lebih baik; serta menggunakan pelatihan dan pendampingan untuk mengembangkan pengikut. Oleh karena itu, pada prinsipnya, terdapat implementasi kepemimpinan etis dalam kebijakan lulusan tanpa skripsi.
