Abstract

Within the context of the manufacturing sector in Banten, this research explores the impact that the integration of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), conflict management, and work flexibility have on the work-life balance of employees operating in that sector. Through the use of a quantitative research methodology, data were gathered from a total of 160 samples by means of a structured questionnaire that utilized a Likert scale that ranged from 1 to 5. Through the utilization of Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3), the data were examined in order to determine the links that exist between the variables. According to the findings, high-resolution information system (HRIS) integration considerably improves work-life balance by optimizing human resource operations and increasing employee access to information. Effective conflict management practices are shown to mitigate workplace tensions, further contributing to a better work-life balance. Additionally, work flexibility is found to be a crucial factor in allowing employees to manage their professional and personal responsibilities more effectively. The study underscores the importance of integrating advanced HR systems, adopting robust conflict management strategies, and promoting flexible work arrangements to enhance the work-life balance of employees in the manufacturing sector.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the enhancement of cultural education and entrepreneurial values among elementary school students through an ethnopedagogical approach in Ensaid Village, West Kalimantan. Cultural education for elementary school students remained suboptimal, resulting in many students being unaware of their traditions and culture. The independent curriculum had mandated cultural education through projects aimed at strengthening the profile of Pancasila students (P5), focusing on themes such as independence.. This research utilized a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, involving respondents including teachers, community members, and tradition activists. All the respondent lived in Ensaid Village West Borneo Kalimantan. The research instruments consist of validated questionnaires created by experts, along with data collection methods that include observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis is conducted concurrently with data collection, employing domain analysis. This involves reviewing the data obtained from observations, interviews, and descriptive notes to validate the findings. Female was 5, and Male was 7. The process of entrepreneurial education could occur both in schools and at home with parents, through both formal and non-formal learning activities. An ethnopedagogical approach served to introduce cultural values that reinforce entrepreneurial learning in schools. One cultural asset that could be utilized was the Ngetau tradition, which teaches students important entrepreneurial values such as hard work, patience, resilience, and diligence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low financial literacy of students which has an impact on their inability to face the economic crisis. The aim of this research is to determine students' financial literacy and their needs in facing a financial crisis.  Qualitative methods were used with data collection techniques in the form of semi-structured interviews with 10 students at a university in Jakarta and documentation.  Data analysis was carried out thematically. The research results show that students' financial literacy is still inadequate, especially in terms of understanding investment, risk management and protection against financial fraud. Students need practical entrepreneurship training, access to reliable information, and applicable training to improve their financial literacy.  It is recommended that higher education institutions develop innovative curricula that combine theory and practice and provide financial counseling services.  Further research needs to be conducted to explore the implementation of effective financial literacy programs for students.
