Abstract

Background: Coronavirus disease is a respiratory disease caused by SARSCoV2, a new type of virus. COVID-19 infection can occur during dental surgery and possibly inhalation of aerosols or droplets containing the virus. One element of the success of health institutions is the compliance of health workers in carrying out health procedures during a pandemic. The large number of COVID-19 cases at Indonesian dentists requires the implementation of Health Guidelines in health care institutions. This study aims to determine the effect of the health protocol compliance factor of the Puskesmas dentists in Pekanbaru City during the COVID-19 outbreak.Method: This study used an analytic observational approach, quantitative research methodology, and a cross-sectional design on 21 dentists who work actively in public health centers in Pekanbaru City. The data analysis technique used univariate and bivariate analysis using Alternative Fisher's Exact Test.Result: The results showed there is a difference between the availability of infrastructure for compliance was statistically tested on two factors with a p value of less than 0.05 (P=0.048.) as many as 95.2% of dentists comply with health regulations.Conclusion: The conclusion of the study There was a relationship between the availability of facilities and infrastructure and the dentist's compliance with health procedures at the puskesmas in Pekanbaru City during the pandemic.

Abstract

Background: Knowledge of Muslim lifestyle is the understanding of a Muslim which arieses from its application from the learning process and experience that comes from the environment, parents or offspring, social and culture and so on including lifestyle in accordance with the advice of Islam based on the Al-Quran and Hadits.Methods: Many teenegers have a level of awareness to maintain healthy teeth and mouth, one of which is dental braces treatment. For teenegers, the use of braces can improve facial appearance because facial appearance is a very important aspect of physical appearance. Result: Teenager’s motivation is based on good knowledge of the Muslim lifestyle, so the teenager also has better motivation compared to teenegers who do not have sufficient knowledge of the Muslim lifestyle.Conclusion: from the results of the Spearman correlation test is positive, which means that the relationship between theses variables is straight or positive, that is, the higher the knowledge of Muslim lifestyle, the higher the motivation to use braces in adolescents.

Abstract

The quality of service at the hospital must be optimal so that patient satisfaction is met. One application of service quality, namely the tangible dimension, is still not implemented well and does not have a significant influence on patient satisfaction. This research aims to determine the influence and assessment of the application of tangible dimension elements on patient satisfaction at RSIGM Sultan Agung Semarang. This research method uses analytical observational research (cross sectional) with an accidental sampling technique of 97 respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire consisting of 15 tangible dimension question items and 5 patient satisfaction question items. Then a reliability validity test, normality test and non-parametric test, namely the Spearman correlation test, were carried out. The research results showed that there was a significant influence of the tangible dimension on patient satisfaction (p=0.000). The implementation of the tangible dimension is good with 54.9% answers being very satisfied and the level of patient satisfaction at RSIGM Sultan Agung Semarang is good with 59.4% answers being very satisfied. The conclusion obtained from this research is that there is an influence between the tangible dimension and the level of patient satisfaction, where the better the implementation of the elements of the tangible dimension, the better the level of patient satisfaction.

Background: The existence of hospitals that apply sharia hospital standards can be a solution to muslim communities in Indonesia. Many hospitals currently go by the label of being Islamic hospitals, but their applications have yet to comply with sharia standards. The success of hospital services can be seen in service quality, one can be seen from element of compliance with Islamic law.Method: This study applied analytical observational research (cross-sectional) using an accidental sampling technique of 133 patients. The variables in this study included the independent variable, the application of the element of compliance with Islamic law, while the level of patients' satisfaction served as its dependent variable. Distribution of a questionnaire was used for the instrument. Analysis of the data that has been obtained is then processed using the SPSS Spearman correlation test program. Result: This study used a program using the Spearman correlation test. The study showed a relationship between applying the element of compliance with Islamic law and the level of patients' satisfaction at Rumah Sakit Islam Gigi dan Mulut Pendidikan (RSIGMP) Sultan Agung Semarang (P=0,000). Applying the element of compliance with Islamic law revealed that results averaged 79,9 fell into the range 61-90 being very good and patients' satisfaction yielded an average of 22,5 fell into the range 16,7-25 being very satisfied.Conclusion: The level of patients' satisfaction is related to applying the element of compliance with Islamic law. The better the application of the element of compliance with Islamic law, the better the patients' satisfaction. Applying the compliance with Islamic law and patients’ satisfaction have been performed properly.
