Abstract

The use of adaptive e-learning in enhancing mathematical problem-solving abilities has garnered attention in the education world. This article presents an in-depth review of the implications of adaptive e-learning on the development of mathematical problem-solving skills in an educational context. The literature review involves the analysis of over 20 references discussing the role of adaptive technology in personalizing learning, boosting student motivation, and cultivating metacognitive skills. The main findings indicate that adaptive e-learning has a positive impact on improving mathematical problem-solving abilities. Nevertheless, technical challenges, technology accessibility, and the educator's role remain relevant in optimizing implementation. Practical implications encompass the development of responsive curricula, innovation in mathematics education, and the enhancement of educational technology. Recommendations for further research highlight the need for long-term studies, comparative research, and exploration of contextual factors influencing the effectiveness of adaptive e-learning.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of augmented reality (AR)-based hypermedia in increasing self-efficacy and problem-solving abilities of prospective math teachers. The research design used was quasi-experimental with two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group received an AR-based hypermedia intervention for 8 weeks, while the control group received no intervention. Data were collected through self-efficacy questionnaires and problem-solving ability tests before and after the intervention. The results showed that AR-based hypermedia was effective in increasing the self-efficacy and problem-solving ability of prospective math teachers. There were significant differences in average self-efficacy and problem-solving ability between the experimental group and the control group after the intervention. The conclusion of the study is that AR-based hypermedia can be a valuable tool for improving the self-efficacy and problem-solving abilities of aspiring math teachers

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, 2) Untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning dengan Media Zoom Cloud Meeting, 3) Untuk Mengetahui terdapat perbedaan model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning dengan Media Zoom Cloud Meeting dengan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika materi Teorema Pythagoras Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Nganjuk. Dalam penelitian ini rancangan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis pendekatan eksperimen. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMPN 3 Nganjuk tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VIII-C sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIII-D sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data dalam penelitian ini dalah analisis data statistic t-test. Berdasarkan hasil nilai tes, siswa menunjukkan nilai rata-rata post-test 72,03 untuk kelas kontrol yang berarti cukup baik, dan nilai rata – rata post-test 84,50 untuk kelas eksperimen yang berarti baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui taraf signitifikan 5% untuk dk = 62 nilai ttabel = 1,99 dan thitung = 8,016, maka thitung > ttabel yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara menggunakan model pembelajaran Konvensional dengan model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning melalui media Zoom Cloud Meeting pada materi teorema Pythagoras siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Nganjuk tahun pelajaran 2020/2021”.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pemasaran digital merupakan elemen krusial dalam strategi bisnis. Namun sejumlah besar UMKM mengalami kendala dalam mengadopsi dan mengoptimalkan teknologi digital untuk keperluan pemasaran. Fenomena ini juga dialami oleh UMKM Griya Kreatif Deyalina. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah belum optimalnya implementasi strategi pemasaran digital. Tujuan: pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pemasaran digital Griya Kreatif Deyalina. Metode: Desain pengabdian kepada Masyarakat menggunakan tahapan desain intruksional Kemp Waktu pelaksanaan pengabdian selama 6 bulan. Subyek pengabdian adalah kelompok pemilik dan pengelola “Griya Kreatif Deliyana” di Kelurahan Werungotok, Kecamatan Nganjuk, Kabupaten Nganjuk, Jawa Timur. Hasil: hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat yakni pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan konten yang menarik melalui alat-alat bantu (tools) baik software atau hardware pada tanggal 20 September 2024, pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen  DPB pada tanggal 24 September 2024, pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen platform marketplace pada tanggal 27 September 2024. Kesimpulan: kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini yakni pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan konten yang menarik melalui alat-alat bantu (tools) baik software atau hardware, pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen DPB, pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen platform marketplace terlaksana dengan lancar dan menghasilkan pengetahuan baru terkait pemasaran digital pada UMKM Griya Kreatif Deyalina.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian Indonesia, termasuk dalam menekan angka pengangguran dan kemiskinan. Namun, di era digital, UMKM menghadapi tantangan dalam pemasaran yang semakin kompetitif. Salah satu UMKM di Kabupaten Nganjuk, "Griya Kreatif Deyalina," menghadapi kendala dalam pemasaran digital, termasuk kurangnya keterampilan dalam pembuatan konten, manajemen Digital Business Platform (DBP), dan pengelolaan platform marketplace. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas digital UMKM melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam tiga aspek utama: (1) pembuatan konten digital yang menarik, (2) manajemen DBP, dan (3) pengelolaan marketplace. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan pelatihan berbasis praktik dan evaluasi berbasis indikator capaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan peserta, dengan seluruh tim mampu memahami dan menggunakan perangkat desain digital, meningkatkan pengelolaan profil bisnis di media sosial, serta mengoptimalkan marketplace untuk pemasaran produk. Indikator keberhasilan pemasaran digital melalui Instagram juga menunjukkan peningkatan engagement rate dan jumlah pelanggan. Kesimpulannya, program ini memberikan dampak positif bagi UMKM dalam meningkatkan daya saing digital, memperluas jangkauan pasar, dan meningkatkan penjualan. Implementasi pemasaran digital terbukti efektif dalam mendukung keberlanjutan usaha dan penguatan branding produk lokal

Abstract

Changes in Indonesia’s educational curriculum emphasize the importance of students' reasoning skills in mathematics. However, Indonesia's low ranking in the PISA assessment, particularly in mathematics, highlights students limited mathematical literacy. One major contributing factor is the fear and anxiety students feel towards mathematics, which is often viewed as intimidating. This study aims to review literature on the impact of integrating geometry-based mathematics learning with the traditional game engklek. The research method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the SALSA framework and a descriptive analysis approach. Data were gathered from 17 articles published between 2014 and 2024, covering reputable international journals, accredited national journals, and journals indexed by DOAJ and Copernicus. The analysis identified 9 articles reporting that geometry topics requiring reasoning and literacy skills are better understood by elementary and preschool students when taught through traditional games like engklek. Furthermore, 8 articles presented experimental studies showing that innovative designs integrating engklek into geometry instruction significantly improve problem-solving skills, numerical literacy, and geometric literacy. Effective instructional models for geometry learning include Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), RME with the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) approach, PMRI, didactic designs, and the development of student worksheets (LKPD). This review concludes that integrating geometry learning with engklek ethnomathematics offers an engaging and culturally relevant approach to overcoming students’ fear of mathematics while improving their mathematical literacy and reasoning skills

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Learning Analytics (LA) in improving mathematics learning outcomes in higher education. An explanatory sequential mixed-methods design was employed, beginning with quantitative data collection through pre-tests and post-tests, followed by qualitative analysis. Research instruments included a mathematics achievement test, semi-structured interview guidelines, observation sheets, and a student engagement questionnaire. The study involved 120 students and 6 mathematics lecturers. The results showed that the integration of AI (β = 0.624) and LA (β = 0.312) significantly accounted for 72.8% of the variance in students' mathematics achievement. The integrated system is capable of analyzing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects with a prediction accuracy of up to 94% and identifying 89% of learning issues before examinations. These findings provide an empirical foundation for developing effective, adaptive, and flexible mathematics learning systems in higher education.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship has become a key driver of economic growth and innovation. Universities play an important role in developing students' entrepreneurial competencies, but the factors influencing the success of students' start-up businesses must be better understood. This study aims to investigate the influence of experiential learning and entrepreneurial orientation on college students' start-up business performance and examine the moderating role of social networks. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from a sample of 150 entrepreneurial students at an Indonesian university through a questionnaire. The data was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique with SmartPLS. Results showed that experiential learning (β = 0.352, p < 0.001) and entrepreneurial orientation (β = 0.417, p < 0.001) positively and significantly influenced students' start-up business performance. The social network was found to moderate the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance (β = 0.183, p < 0.05). This study concludes that combining experiential learning, entrepreneurial mindset development, and social capital fostering is essential to nurturing successful young entrepreneurs. The findings provide valuable insights for universities in designing effective entrepreneurship education programs.
