Abstract

Hypertension is also known as the "Silent Killer". Someone is said to be hypertensive if systolic blood pressure is often found ≥ 140 mmHg and diastolic pressure ≥ 90 mmHg. In this service, it aims to find out how the community in the village of Tanak Beak, Narmada sub-district, regarding self-efficacy and self-management in elderly people with hypertension in Tanak Beak Village, the work area of the Narmada Health Center, Kab, West Lombok. The low level of self-management in elderly people with hypertension who receive long-term treatment is due to lack of knowledge and boredom, so the treatment program is not successful. Elderly with hypertension who do not have good faith and lack self-care management, causing further complications. The method used in this service is to identify people who have hypertension, then check their blood pressure and provide material related to self-efficacy and self-management. In this service, 62 respondents were found to have hypertension, and after being given counseling about self-efficacy and self-management, the community understood how.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that is getting more attention because of hypertension or it is called the silent killer. someone who is said to be hypertensive if the systolic blood pressure is ≥140 mmHg and the diastolic pressure is≥ 90 mmHgThis service activity aims to determine the incidence of hypertension and provide health education to coastal communities in Bintaro village. The method used in this activity is to identify people who have hypertension, then measure blood pressure and provide health education and prevention. With this activity, 80 people who experienced hypertension were found and after being given public health education, they understood and understood hypertension prevention. With this dedication so that people in coastal areas can maintain their diet, lifestyle and further improve their health status by having their health checked more regularly.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder caused by many factors such as high blood sugar levels resulting from impaired insulin function. Diabetic foot exercises is exercises that can doing with moving the muscles and joints of the feet, improving blood circulation, strengthening small muscles, preventing foot deformities. The monofilament test is a tool to check for nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy), caused by conditions such as diabetes mellitus. Temporary blood glucose is a check of glucose levels in non-fasting blood that can be done at any time. Objective: To determine the effect of diabetic foot exercises toward foot sensitivity and blood sugar levels on diabetes mellitus type 2 patients at Dasan Lekong Public Health Center, East Lombok. Method: The design of this research is quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest with control group design. The population in this study was 45 people. While the sample in this study was 18 people. Results: Using the Wilcoxon test, there was an effect of diabetic foot exercises toward foot sensitivity on diabetes mellitus type 2 patients with a p value (0.000) < a (0.05). Likewise, there is an effect of diabetic foot exercises toward blood sugar levels with p (0.000). Conclusion: There is an effect of diabetic foot exercises on increasing foot sensitivity and blood sugar levels on diabetes mellitus type 2 patients.

Abstract

Blood glucose is a sugar found in the blood formed from carbohydrates in food and stored as glycogen in the liver and skeletal muscles. Insulin and glucagon, two hormones derived from the pancreas, can affect blood glucose levels. Insulin is needed for the permeability of cell membranes to glucose and for the transport of glucose into cells. The purpose of the Community Service program is to conduct random blood sugar, uric acid and cholesterol level checks. The methods used in Community Service activities are socialization and health education and examination of glucose, uric acid and cholesterol levels in the implementation of community health identification. The results of the implementation of the uric acid, blood sugar and cholesterol level checks carried out in the community went well and understood the importance of regular and regular blood pressure and uric acid checks. The conclusion is that the Community Service program was successful and successfully implemented and was able to increase public understanding of the importance of early detection. The community response that was carried out in participating in the activities was quite good. Public knowledge about Glucose, Uric Acid and Cholesterol Levels and their prevention showed a remarkable increase.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) adalah penyakit jenis baru yang belum pernah diidentifikasi sebelumnya pada manusia. Data WHO menunjukkan jumlah angka Covid-19 di dunia sampai dengan tanggal 1 Desember 2020, dilaporkan total kasus konfirmasi 63.584.430. Sedangkan di Indonesia melaporkan kasus konfirmasi Covid-19 sebanyak 543.975 terkonfirmasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran orang tua dalam mengedukasi anak untuk mencuci tangan sebagai upaya pencegahan Covid-19. Metode penelitian dan jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan deskriptif analitik dengan metode cross-sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 144 responden. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan nonprobability sampling menggunakan tehnik purposive sampling dan penentuaan besar sampling dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang sudah dilakukan uji validitas dan reabilitas. Data dianalisis dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi dalam bentuk persentase dengan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan peran orang tua dengan kategori berperan aktif sebanyak 139 orang (96,5%), sedangkan muntuk yang berperan kurang aktif sebanyak 5 orang (3,5%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, didapatkan hampir seluruh orang tua sudah berperan aktif dalam menjelaskan dan membimbing anak dalam mencuci tangan sebagai upaya pencegahan Covid-19. Harapannya kepada para orang tua untuk selalu mengingatkan dan membimbing anak untuk mencuci tangan setelah beraktivitas di luar rumah maupun di dalam rumah, serta menyediakan fasilitas untuk mencuci tangan.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) merupakan penyakit gangguan metabolisme karbohidrat, protein dan lemak akibat dari ketidakseimbangan antara ketersedian insulin dengan kebutuhan insulin. Manajemen diabetes mandiri merupakan hal yang penting bagi pasien diabetes. Dukungan keluarga merupakan sikap, tindakan dan penerima keluarga terhadap penderita yang sakit. Dukungan ini bisa berasal dari orang lain seperti orang tua, anak, suami, istri, atau saudara. Tujuan Penelitian : penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan dukungan keluargan dengan kadar gula darah pada penderita diabetes melitus di lingkungan jempong di wilayah puskesmas karang pule. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini mengunakan cross sectional dengan metode penelitian korelasi Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner apgar keluarga dan kuesioner pemeriksaan kadar gula darah. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil : Ada Hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kadar gula darah pada penderita diabetes mellitus dilingkungan jempong wilayah puskesmas karang pule dilihat dari nilai p value sebesar 0,001 (p value <0,05) dengan kekuatan hubungan dan arah positif. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang segnifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kadar gula darah pada penderita diabetes melletus di lingkungan jempong di wilayah puskesmas karang pule . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini bahwa perlunya penguatan dukungan keluarga dengan kadar gula darah pada penderita diabetes mellitus untuk meningkatkan kesehatannya.

Abstract

Abstrak Pasien dengan tindakan operasi atau pembedahan mencapai angka peningkatan yang sangat signifikan tiap tahunnya. Masalah yang umum terjadi setelah operasi adalah pasien merasakan nyeri pada luka dan faktor lain yang membuat pasien tidak mau untuk bergerak lebih awal dan istirahat di tempat tidur. Kondisi ini akan menimbulkan berbagai dampak diantaranya dapat memperlambat proses penyembuhan paska operasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pasien dan keluarga terkait mobilisasi dini post operasi guna mengurangi rasa nyeri dan mempercepat proses penyembuhan. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini berupa penyuluhan kesehatan yang dilakukan dengan cara ceramah, diskusi dan demonstrasi mempraktekkan bebeberapa gerakan sederhana dengan menggunakan media LCD proyektor dan leaflet. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di ruang Flamboyan RSUD Praya Lombok Tengah pada tanggal 9 Agustus 2023 dengan sasaran kegiatan yaitu pasien paska bedah yang sedang menjalani perawatan dan keluarga pasien sebanyak 42 orang. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini didapatkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta penyuluhan kesehatan sebelum dan sesudah penyampaian materi mobilisasi dini post operasi, yaitu sebagian besar pada kategori kurang yaitu 27 orang (64,3%) meningkat menjadi cukup 26 orang (61,9%). Kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan diruang perawatan bisa dilakukan secara berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemandirian pasien dan keluarga melakukan mobilisasi dini post operasi sehingga menurunkan tingkat ketergantungan pasien diruang perawatan.Kata kunci: edukasi; mobilisasi dini; post operasi. AbstractThe number of patients undergoing surgery is increasing every year. Common problems that arise after surgery are pain in the wound area and other things that make patients reluctant to move or rest in bed. This condition has many side effects, including delaying the recovery process after surgery. The community's mission is to increase awareness among patients and families about exercise early after surgery to reduce pain and speed recovery. The method used in this activity is health education through lectures, discussions and practical demonstrations of simple exercises using an LCD screen and posters. This activity was carried out in the Flamboyan room at Praya Hospital, Central Lombok on August 9 2023 with the target of the activity being post-surgical patients who were undergoing treatment and 42 patients' families. As a result of this community service, it was found that there was an increase in the knowledge of health education participants before and after the delivery of post-operative early mobilization material, namely the majority in the inadequate are 27 people (64.3%) to sufficient category 26 people (61.9%). Medical training in the treatment room can be carried out immediately to increase the awareness and independence of patients and their families through a rapid recovery after surgery to reduce the dependence of the patient on the treatment room.Keywords: education; early mobilization; post operation.
