Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan penanaman karakter religius kepada peserta didik di SMP N 3 Ranah Ampek Hulu Tapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian diambil dari sepuluh orang informan yang terdiri dari guru PAI, dan siswa SMP N 3 Ranah Ampek Hulu Tapan. Data penelitian diambil melalui metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa: pelaksanaan penanaman karakter religius peserta didik memiliki peran yang sangat penting bagi pesertadidik terutama peserta didik yang menjalankannya. Pelaksanaan penanaman karakter religius dilaksanakan melalui beberapa program kegiatan yaitu berdo’a, membaca asmaul husna, membaca Al-Qur’an, dan infaq dan shodaqoh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang peran guru PAI melaksanakan penanaman karakter religius peserta didik di SMP N 3 Ranah Ampek Hulu Tapan dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru PAI berperan dalam melaksanakan penanaman karakter religius peserta didik. Hal ini terihat dari tingginya antusias dan mulai tumbuhnya kesadaran peserta didik dalam melaksanakan kegiatan keagamaan di sekolah (berdo’a, membaca asmaul husna, membaca Al-Qur’an, dan infaq atau shodaqoh).

Abstract

The quality of learning is a crucial aspect that requires effective and efficient management. Often, learning quality management is seen as separate from the learning process, in fact, both are integrated. This study aims to describe the quality management of learning in an integrated system-based tertiary institution at STIT Al-Ittihadiyah Labuhanbatu Utara. This type of research includes qualitative with descriptive study method. Collecting data using interviews, observation, and document study. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study obtained (1) the leadership of STIT Al-Ittihadiyah Labuhanbatu Utara designed an integrated system through a clear vision, mission and goals based on the tridharma of higher education, (2) development of materials and lecture materials based on assessment and certification (institutional accreditation); and (3) the campus quality assurance system establishes a self-assessment model. Thus, it is concluded that integrated system-based learning quality management at STIT Al-Ittihadiyah Labuhanbatu Utara is implemented effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

A graphic design training using Adobe Photoshop was conducted to enhance the visual design skills of students at SMA 1 Kaway XVI. The purpose of this program was to introduce fundamental design concepts and provide practical experience for students who had limited or no experience. Prior exposure to designing software. The methodology involved observation, pre-test and post-test assessments, and hands-on practice in creating promotional posters using Adobe Photoshop. A total of 20 students participated and demonstrated significant improvement in their design abilities. The evaluation results revealed increased understanding of design elements such as typography, color, and visual composition. Moreover, the training encouraged students to be more creative and confident in expressing their ideas visually. The outcomes of this initiative are not only applicable in an academic context but also broaden the students’ entrepreneurial perspective in the creative industry. This training proves that a practical, technology-based approach can serve as an effective solution in developing students’ technical skills in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of traditional Tolaki values in a local wisdom-based education system at the elementary school/Islamic elementary school level amidst the challenges of globalization and educational standardization in Indonesia. Through a critical ethnographic approach in five elementary schools with 15 key informants, this study identified five Tolaki values relevant to contemporary elementary education: Medulu Mepoko'aso (unity), Morini Mbu'umbundi (hard work), Samaturu (mutual cooperation), Kalosara (conflict resolution), and Kohanu (integrity). Three implementation patterns were found: symbolic (45%), content (32%), and integrated (23%). An effective transformation model that includes curriculum revitalization, capacity building of elementary school/Islamic elementary school teachers, community involvement, and value-based evaluation shows a significant improvement in the character formation of elementary school/Islamic elementary school students, especially in the aspects of cooperation, responsibility, integrity, and respect for cultural identity. This study concludes that the transformation of traditional values at the elementary school/Islamic elementary school level is not only an effort to preserve culture, but also a strategy to create character education that is contextual and relevant to global and local needs.
