Abstract

Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) production with dry extraction oils such as copra is time consuming and resulting in quality. The purpose of this study was to optimize the production of VCO using the Direct Micro Expelling-Flat Bed Dried (DME-FBD) method. This research was carried out at the Indonesian Palm Crops Research Institute (IPCRI) on January - March 2019 in the coconut processing unit of the postharvest laboratory using two coconut varieties, namely Mapanget Tall (MTT) and Salak Green Dwarf (SGD), each with 10, 11, and 12 months harvest period. The experimental design used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 repetition. The results showed that the yield of VCO oil from coconut 11 months old of MTT was 18.39% (16 nuts/L VCO) with optimum DME-FBD temperature of approximately 40-88°C on plate and 36–72°C on grated coconut meat. VCO obtained from MTT coconut has a quality of 0.07% water content, free fatty acid 0,0017%, fresh aroma coconut, non-rancid with a value of 4.50, a distinctive of coconut oil taste of 4.10, and clear color of 4.30 accordingly with SNI 7381: 2008 and export quality requirements of APCC. Almost the same quality was obtained from SGD coconut with 11 months of harvest with a water content of 0.06%, free fatty acids 0.0018%, a fresh aroma of coconut with a value of 4.30, a distinctive of coconut oil taste of 4.00, and clear color 4.10.ABSTRAKProduksi Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) dengan ekstraksi kering seperti kopra membutuhkan waktu lama dan metode yang digunakan kurang optimal. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melakukan optimasi produksi VCO dengan menggunakan metode Direct Micro Expelling-Flat Bed Dried (DME-FBD). Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari-Maret 2019 di unit pengolahan kelapa laboratorium pascapanen, Balai Penelitian Tanaman Palma menggunakan dua varietas kelapa, yaitu kelapa Dalam Mapanget (DMT) dan kelapa Genjah Salak (GSK), masing-masing dengan umur panen 10, 11, dan 12 bulan. Rancangan percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rendemen minyak VCO tertinggi dari kelapa DMT umur 11 bulan, sebesar 18,39% (16 butir/L VCO) dengan suhu optimum sekitar 40-88°C di pelat dan 35-72°C pada kelapa parut, sedangkan rendemen VCO kelapa GSK umur 11 bulan sebesar 16,38%, tetapi dengan jumlah buah 26 butir untuk mendapatkan 1 liter VCO, dengan suhu optimum sekitar 42-94°C di pelat dan 36-72°C pada kelapa parut. VCO yang diperoleh dari kelapa DMT mempunyai kualitas kadar air 0,07%, asam lemak bebas 0,0017%, aroma khas kelapa segar, tidak tengik dengan nilai 4,50, rasa normal, khas minyak kelapa 4,10, dan warna jernih 4,30 yang sesuai dengan SNI 7381:2008 dan syarat mutu ekspor APCC. Kualitas yang hampir sama diperoleh dari kelapa GSK dengan umur panen 11 bulan dihasilkan kadar air 0,06%, asam lemak bebas 0,0018%, aroma segar khas kelapa, tidak tengik dengan nilai 4,30, rasa khas minyak kelapa 4,00, dan warna jernih 4,10.

Abstract

In a situation of business competition is more advanced as it is today, bus company (PO) required to gets more creative and innovative in looking for or retain customers. As PO Sumber Group that has opened the route “PATAS” to track JOGYA / SEMARANG - SOLO - SURABAYA via Karangjati in early 2015 and by the name of SUGENG RAHAYU by GOLDEN STAR. Under SUMBER GROUP and under management Golden Star. Based on these problems purpose of this research is to determine what percentage of the level of customer satisfaction on the performance Sugeng Rahayu “Patas” bus. Due to the limited sample does not then take a sample of 100 respondents. Techniques of collecting data using questionnaires. Analysis techniques used is to use the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). It is based on five dimensions of service quality are tangibles (physical evidence), reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results showed that overall customer satisfaction has a value of 78.5%, this means that customers are satisfied with the services provided by Sugeng Rahayu ”Patas” bus. Although the results of the analysis show a good value but there needs to be improvement of service quality, especially the cleanliness of toilets in the bus.

Abstract

Menurut Rencana Induk Perkeretaapian Nasional (RIPNAS) pada tahun 2030 diperkirakan terjadi peningkatan perpindahan manusia di Pulau Jawa sejumlah 858,5 juta orang/tahun. Oleh sebab itu, pemerintah berencana mengembangkan jaringan jalan rel di Pulau Jawa dari jalur tunggal (single track) menjadi jalur ganda (double track) agar dapat mengimbangi jumlah permintaan yang akan datang. Kota Surabaya dan Sidoarjo merupakan daerah yang saling terhubung oleh jaringan rel kereta api namun jalan kereta api yang ada pada lintas Stasiun Wonokromo – Stasiun Sidoarjo masih menggunakan jalur tunggal yang menyebabkan layanan kereta api terkadang mengalami keterlambatan keberangkatan dan kereta api harus bergantian jalur rel dengan kereta api lainnya. Berdasarkan urgensi tersebut maka perlu dilakukan perencanaan jalur ganda (double track) pada lintas Stasiun Wonokromo – Stasiun Sidoarjo (KM 7+881 – KM 25+510) agar dapat memenuhi peningkatan perpindahan masyarakat seperti prediksi RIPNAS. Hasil analisis dan perencanaan diperoleh penempatan trase jalur ganda dilakukan di sebelah timur trase eksisting dari Stasiun Wonokromo menuju Stasiun Sidoarjo. Konstruksi jalan rel termasuk kelas jalan rel III dengan dimensi struktur atas tipe rel rencana R54, sambungan tipe R54, penambat elastis ganda pandrol e-clip, dan bantalan beton prategang tipe N-67 PT. WIKA Beton. Dimensi struktur bawah diperoleh ukuran ballast atas setebal 30 cm dan sub-ballast setebal 40 cm. Lapisan subgrade direncanakan dengan timbunan setinggi 1 meter dari permukaan tanah asli dengan kemiringan 1:1,5 menggunakan tanah granular. Saluran drainase pada direncanakan menggunakan beton bertulang pracetak dengan bentuk persegi panjang berdimensi 1,4 m x 0,7 m dan terletak 285 cm dari as rel.

Abstract

This research is held as a efforts to improving the strength of road structure and also handling iron powder waste, by using it as a filler on pavements structure mix design at Ponco – Jatirogo (STA.130+200 – STA.138+700). Iron powder filler variations value adding on this research is brought 0%, 12%, 17%, 22% and 27% from total weight of pavements mix. Amount percentage of filler accordingly taken from requirements that is set on General Specifications of Bina Marga Division 6-2010 (Revision 3) about filler material using on road pavements mix provisions. A results of Marshall Test on asphalt mix with filler material variations from iron powder takes the best and fulfill General Specifications of Bina Marga requirements obtained on filler value rate 22% with bath-time 1 hours, which VMA (Void in Mineral Aggregate) value 67,93%, VFA (Void Filled with Aggregate) value 92,91%, VIM (Void In Mix) value 4,82%, stability value 1371,6 kg, flow value 4,77 mm and Marshall Quotient (MQ) value 288,93 kg/mm.

Abstract

The entry of the Covid-19 virus in early 2020 in Indonesia has changed the order of people's lives. One of the sectors affected by the Covid-19 outbreak is rail transportation. The existence of the Covid-19 virus has resulted in a decrease in the number of train passengers at Gubeng Station. One of the trains that is ready to be operated again by implementing the Covid-19 prevention protocol in the implementation of the New Normal is the Bima Executive Train. Bima Executive Train is an executive class train with a relation of Surabaya Gubeng Station - Gambir Station. In this study, an analysis will be carried out using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. This research is a type of descriptive-quantitative research. The population of this study was passengers who used the services of the Bima Executive Train at Gubeng Station. Based on the results of data processing and analysis, the value of the level of conformity between the performance value and expectations at the time of the implementation of the New Normal at Gubeng Station and at the Bima Executive Train was as follows: at Gubeng Station, the largest level of conformity value was 97.56%, namely speed and accuracy in the train departure schedule. Meanwhile, in the Bima Executive Railway, the largest level of conformity value is 98.19%, namely the accuracy of officers in providing information related to train travel disturbances. The average value of the service attributes that describe the level of passenger satisfaction at Gubeng Station, in general reflects the level of satisfaction or excellent quality of service. This is evident from the 25 service attributes that have a value of 4.09, namely "satisfactory". Meanwhile, in the Bima Executive Train, in general, it reflects a very good level of satisfaction or quality of service. This is evident from the 20 service attributes that have a value of 4.14, namely "satisfactory".

Abstract

kebutuhan jalan akan terus mengalami peningkatan. Pada dasarnya agregat setiap wilayah memiliki sifat dan karakteristik yang berbeda. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian terhadap karakteristik agregat kasar dari dua quarry berbeda yang nantinya akan digunakan sebagai campuran aspal beton lapis permukaan atau Asphalt Concrete - Wearing Course (AC-WC). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbandingan agregat kasar dari dua quarry berbeda, yaitu quarry berasal dari kabupaten Tulungagung dan Kediri. Pengujian campuran aspal beton ini menggunakan metode marshall test yang mengacu pada aturan - aturan yang terdapat dalam SNI dan Spesifikasi Umum Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Bina Marga Provinsi Jawa Timur Tahun 2018. Pembuatan benda uji menggunakan campuran aspal lapisan AC-WC kemudian diuji dengan menggunakan metode marshall. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai kadar aspal optimum (KAO) agregat kasar Tulungagung berada pada kadar aspal 6,64%, sedangkan untuk agregat kasar Kediri berada pada kadar aspal 6,71%. Dari hasil perbandingan dapat disimpulkan bahwa campuran aspal dengan agregat kasar Kediri cocok digunakan pada lalu lintas dengan beban kendaraan yang berat dan intensitas yang rendah, sedangkan campuran aspal dengan agregat kasar Tulungagung cocok digunakan pada lalu lintas dengan beban kendaraan yang ringan dan intensitas yang tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil uji Anova dua arah, didapatkan nilai P-Value sebesar 0,66 yang artinya nilai P-Value ≥ alpha (α=5%), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh perbedaan agregat kasar Tulungagung dan Kediri terhadap kekuatan pada aspal beton lapis aus (AC-WC).

Abstract

The Raya Blega Street intersection is one of the intersections with a relatively high vehicle volume in Bangkalan Regency. There is no APILL (Traffic Signaling Device) available at this intersection, so it has an impact on traffic flow at the intersection. The existence of the market causes many side obstacles which reduce the optimal performance of the intersection. This condition causes the intersection to experience traffic delays, especially during peak hours such as when leaving work or when leaving. In this research, researchers want to identify the problem of congestion at the Raya Blega street-Rajawali street intersection by calculating and analyzing the performance of the Raya Blega street-Rajawali street intersection using the PKJI 2023 method so that it can be used as a benchmark for assessing the performance of unsignalized intersections and assisting related parties in handle problems at the intersection and it is hoped that they can handle the problems that occur at the intersection so that it can create security and safety for passing users.In this study, the highest value was obtained for existing conditions on Monday, April 29 2024, at morning peak hours (07.00-08.00) at approach point A (east Raya Blega street) with an intersection capacity value of 2297,96 smp/hour and the value obtained The degree of saturation is 0,36 and the delay value is 8.44 sec/smp so it is included in Level of Service B. So the status of the Raya Blega street-Rajawali street Bangkalan Regency intersection is still suitable to be maintained.

Abstract

Setiap ruas jalan memiliki karakteristik lalu lintas yang berbeda, yang memengaruhi nilai ekuivalensi mobil penumpang (EMP). EMP merupakan faktor konversi untuk berbagai jenis kendaraan terhadap mobil penumpang, guna menilai dampaknya terhadap lalu lintas. Nilai EMP dalam PKJI 2023 telah ditetapkan berdasarkan tipe jalan, namun perlu dikaji ulang agar sesuai dengan kondisi aktual. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada ruas Jalan Tambak Osowilangun Surabaya yang didominasi kendaraan berat, sehingga pola berkendara cenderung agresif. Metode yang digunakan adalah time headway dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai EMP truk besar dengan metode time headway adalah 2,13 untuk volume 1000–1799 kendaraan/jam; 1,85 untuk volume 1800–2149 kendaraan/jam; dan 2,28 untuk volume ≥2150 kendaraan/jam. Sementara itu, metode regresi linear berganda menghasilkan nilai EMP sebesar 1,01; 0,94; dan 1,00 untuk volume yang sama. Nilai derajat kejenuhan yang dihitung menggunakan EMP dari metode time headway pada volume 1000–1799 kendaraan per jam memiliki nilai 3% lebih besar dari perhitungan dengan EMP PKJI 2023. Untuk volume 1800–2149 kend/jam, hasilnya 92% lebih kecil, dan pada volume ≥2150 kend/jam, hasilnya 3% lebih besar. Sedangkan derajat kejenuhan berdasarkan EMP hasil regresi linear berganda memiliki nilai 79% – 92% lebih kecil dibandingkan perhitungan menggunakan EMP dari PKJI 2023.

Abstract

Rajekwesi Bojonegoro Terminal is a class A terminal that provides facilities and services for public transportation and passengers. This terminal functions as a destination point for village or intercity transportation that supports the needs of travelers. From the existing conditions, there are many workers from villages who go to Surabaya. They usually leave their homes to the terminal using private vehicles, motorcycle taxis, or pedicabs. Currently, there is no public transportation connecting the village with Nganjuk Terminal. Therefore, the author made a plan for passenger transportation to Nganjuk Terminal in order to meet these transportation needs. This research was conducted at Bojonegoro Station and Rajekwesi Bojonegoro Terminal through a field survey. A total of 200 respondents were taken through questionnaires and interviews to collect primary and secondary data at both locations. After the data was collected, the next step was processing and analysis by summarizing the results of the questionnaire and calculating the transportation needs and microbus fares per passenger. From the questionnaire, information was obtained about the social and economic characteristics of the respondents and their travel profiles. What is obtained from the processing and analysis of integrated transportation planning shows a load factor value of 0.7, a planned travel speed of 33 km/hour, a circulation time of 5.6 minutes, a headway of 5.1 minutes, a frequency of 8 vehicles, a maximum waiting time of 5.1 minutes, and the need for 1 vehicle with a distance of 2 km from the Station to the Rajekwesi Terminal. The fare for microbus passengers with a capacity of 16 seats in zone 1 is IDR 2,700 per passenger.
