Abstract

The development of tourist objects will certainly contribute to the growth of the area around these tourist objects. Until now, Gorontalo Province has many tourist objects whose development has not received much attention so that it can cause a reduction in visitors to these tours, one of which is the Pentadio Resort which has an area of 14 ha and is located in Gorontalo Regency. The specialty of the Pentadio Resort tour is the hot spring bath and visitors can witness the bursts of hot springs. However, the current condition of the Pentadio Resort Hot Springs area is very concerning, the local community is not able to optimally utilize and manage these potentials as well as the lack of attention from the Government and the lack of other supporting facilities such as children's playgrounds that are not well organized. This research aims to create a tourist destination design that applies the concept of modern tropical architecture by improving the quality of tourist facilities such as accommodation, recreational and entertainment facilities. This study uses qualitative methods and observations as a first step in determining aspects of the design concept for the development of tourist areas. The analytical method applied is micro analysis of the site planning site and macro analysis is determining the criteria for site analysis in the area. The final result of this study is the application of modern tropical architectural concepts to sustainable natural tourism areas. The results of the study show that there are 3 concepts for the development of spatial design visualization in the pentadio resort tourism area, namely the core zone, buffer zone, and service zone. Development in this area can meet the needs of visitors and create open spaces that are comfortable, safe, fun, cultured in the development of pentadio resort tourism.

Poverty is a challenge for the government that must be resolved in order to improve the economy in the region. The delay in the development of poor areas coupled with the global economic slowdown is very worrying, so instructions from the government are needed in improving infrastructure for basic settlement infrastructure that can create jobs for the community so that the community's economy increases. On December 10, 2019, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, at a meeting to direct the acceleration of the implementation of the infrastructure program, secured the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing in increasing labor-intensive activities that intersect with empowering local communities so that they become a binding force for the economy. The Regional Economic Infrastructure Program (PISEW) in its journey is one of the government programs whose goal is to improve the community's economy using the self-management method which will be managed by community groups under the auspices of the Inter-Village Cooperation Agency (BKAD), so that the impact and benefits can be felt directly by the local community. This economic improvement is specifically for people who live in Lantari Jaya sub-district, Bombana district, Southeast Sulawesi province. In practice, community self-management is the direct manager, therefore assistance is needed and having competent assistants in determining and analyzing the infrastructure to be built, in order to improve the economy of the community.

Abstract

Self-supporting housing construction carried out by the community in general still does not meet liveable quality, tends to sprawl (irregularly) and is well-organized based on a lack of infrastructure and facilities that meet the requirements of a healthy environment. Things like this tend to make settlements wider and form separate slum neighbourhoods. In order to improve the quality of people's housing, it is important to make efforts to make people aware that building healthy housing is the responsibility of the people themselves. Therefore, empowerment is an effort that must be carried out by strengthening the power possessed by each community. In addition, positive steps and directions are needed to create a conducive environment and atmosphere for every actor involved in housing development, especially for residents. Strengthening the provision of facilities and support in opening access and opportunities that can make the community more empowered. For this reason, the Government is carrying out the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) Assistance Activities.
