Abstract

The quality of morbidity reports in hospitals is strongly influenced by the accuracy and completeness of data recorded in the medical record system. In the digital era, the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is expected to improve both efficiency and accuracy in reporting. However, in practice, various challenges remain, particularly to due to incomplete data entry by medical staff. This study aimed to analyze the inpatient morbidity data processing at Hermina Arcamanik Hospital and to evaluate the impact of incomplete diagnosis entries on the quality of reporting. A qualitative descriptive method was employed through in-depth interviews, observations, and surveys with medical record officers. The results showed that although the HINAI WEB system had been implemented, inconsistencies in diagnosis entry by physicians led to inaccurate morbidity data. Chronic diseases were dominant in outpatient services, while acute infections were more common in inpatient cases. Caesarean section was the most frequently performed inpatient medical procedure. The study concluded that the success of morbidity reporting is not solely determined by advanced systems, but also by the discipline and active involvement of healthcare workers in accurate and timely data documentation.

Abstract

Changes in modern lifestyles, which tend to be sedentary, have increased theprevalence of metabolic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, anddyslipidemia in urban communities. Regular monitoring of health biomarkersis an important step in the early detection of metabolic risks. However, the limited availability of simple and easy-to-use monitoring facilitieshas resulted in low public awareness of their health conditions. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to increase awarenessof health among people at risk of metabolic disorders through the implementation of aGoogle Sheet-based biomarker monitoring system at the Prima Husada Clinic in Bandung. The methodsused in this activity include socialization, training in the use of Google Sheet HealthTracker, and evaluation of health awareness levels and changes inbiomarker parameters (blood pressure, BMI, blood sugar levels, and cholesterol). The resultsof the activity showed a 52% increase in participants' understanding of the importance ofhealth monitoring, and 68% of participants began to routinely recordhealth indicators for one month. The Google Sheet system proved to be effective, simple, and accessible via mobile phones, making it easier forthe community to independently monitor their health conditions. This activity demonstratesthat simple digital innovations can be a promotive and preventive solutionin community physiotherapy to reduce the risk of metabolic diseases.

Abstract

The National Health Insurance (JKN) program managed by BPJS Kesehatan implements the Indonesia Case-Based Groups (INA-CBGs) prospective payment system. Although INA-CBGs rates are determined based on diagnosis, the treatment class factor has the potential to influence the amount of claims paid. This study aims to analyze the effect of treatment class on the value of INA-CBGs claims in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD, code J44.1) at Dustira Class II Hospital. This study used an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of all COPD patients treated at the Kenanga Ward in January 2025 (n=37), with a distribution of Class 1 (n=2), Class 2 (n=13), and Class 3 (n=22). Data analysis was performed using the Kruskal–Wallis test, followed by the Dunn–Bonferroni post-hoc test. The results showed that the highest median claim value was found in Class 1 (Rp 5,264,600), followed by Class 2 (Rp 4,611,500), and Class 3 (Rp 3,958,400). The Kruskal–Wallis test showed a significant difference (H=33.720; p<0.001). Post-hoc analysis showed a significant difference between Class 1 and Class 3 and between Class 2 and Class 3, while the difference between Class 1 and Class 2 was not significant. It was concluded that the treatment class significantly influenced the BPJS claim value in COPD patients. These findings have implications for the evaluation of INA-CBGs tariffs and the preparation for the implementation of the Standard Inpatient Class Policy (KRIS) in 2025.
