Abstract

Abstract

Research on the Characterization of the Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) Light Sensor has been carried out with the aim of understanding the characteristics of the LDR light sensor, for processing changes in the LDR resistance value as a measurement of light intensity and for accessing an 8-bit resolution ADC by entering the LDR light sensor voltage result. The value of the resistance on the LDR depends on the size of the light received by the LDR itself. In addition, the greater the intensity of light hitting the LDR surface, the smaller the resistivity. On the other hand, the smaller the intensity of light hitting the LDR, the greater the resistance value. The basic principle used in the use of LDR resistors as components of this sensor is the change in the resistance value and the amount of current flowing in the circuit. In this experiment, the distance variations of 0cm, 3cm, 6cm, 9cm, 12cm, 15cm, 18cm, 21cm, 24cm, 27cm and 30cm were used. LDR characteristics are slow response in identifying light intensity, the greater the light intensity the smaller the resistivity, LDR can be used to read changes in light intensity and data retrieval can be done with an op-amp and a microcontroller.

Abstract

Students' requirements are not as well met by the teaching resources that are currently on the market. The majority of instructional materials tend to emphasize memorization of abstract ideas without giving detailed context. As a result, students show little interest in and comprehension of the subject matter being taught. PISA and AKM show low numeracy literacy skills in students. This study examines Babat's SD Muhammadiyah 2's math teaching resource needs for numeracy literacy. This study uses quantitative descriptive methods. The study found that current teaching materials are not improving students' numeracy literacy skills. Up to 8% of students are very low, 42% are low, 26% are medium, 21% are high, and 3% are very high. Students like using colorful instructional materials and find LKPD fun for arithmetic.

Abstract

: Critical thinking skills must be part of student learning, and the school must be responsible for developing and evaluating critical thinking skills in the learning process. Efforts that can be made to improve critical thinking skills include promoting learning aids in the form of student-based problem-based learning worksheets. This study aims to design learning tools in the way student worksheets are based on problem-based learning. The method used in this study is the 4-D method which includes the stages of Define, Design, Development, and Disseminates. Data collection instruments in the form of expert validation instruments to measure validity as well as student questionnaires to measure practicality and obtain development product assessment from experts and students. The results of the validation data analysis by two validators stated that the validity level was 3.58 for the aspect of the worksheet content, the validity was 3.50 for the constructed aspect and 3.67 for the language aspect. This shows that the suitability of worksheets developed in all three elements of validation is good. After validation, the worksheets were tested on 23 VIII grade 2 students at Gunungkidul MTs, and the results of the trial said that the LKS received a good response from students and was practically used in the learning process of mathematics in the classroom.
