Abstract

Air adalah sumber kehidupan utama bagi masyarakat, menjadi pokok dalam setiap aspek keberlangsungan hidup manusia. Selain itu, air juga penting dalam sektor pertanian dan industri, sebagai bahan baku maupun dalam proses produksi. Secara ekologis, air mendukung keberlangsungan ekosistem dan keanekaragaman hayati. Pembuangan sampah baik limbah industri, limbah rumah tangga, dan sampah yang dibuang secara langsung ke sumber air baik itu sungai atau penamoungan air seperti waduk dapat menyebabkan kerusakan sumber air dan merusak keragaman hayati. Sampah merupakan sesuatu yang dekat dengan kehidupan manusia. Dengan bertambahnya populasi dan ekonomi akan meningkatkan jumlah sampah itu sendiri. Sampah di kali mengacu pada segala jenis limbah atau material yang dibuang atau terbuang di sepanjang kali. Ini termasuk sampah-sampah seperti plastik, kertas, logam, dan bahan lainnya yang secara tidak sengaja atau disengaja dibuang ke dalam sungai oleh manusia. Kali Perumahan Harapan Citra Insani, sebuah arteri vital di tengah salah satu kabupaten Bekasi. Belakangan ini menjadi subjek perhatian serius dalam konteks lingkungan dan pengelolaan sumber daya air. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan menggunakan observasional atau Cross Section dengan cara pengambilan data dengan Teknik sampling terhadap 25 Kepala keluarga di Perumahan Harapan Citra Insani. Hasil Pengamatan 68% tidak puas dan 32% puas Terhadap Upaya Pemerintah dalam mengatasi masalah masyarakat, 92% ada dan 8% mengatakan tidak ada melakukan kegiatan kerja bakti, 96% Berdampak dan 4% tidak Berdapak Terhadap pengelolaan sampah, 92% Tinggi dan 8% rendah dalam tingkat kesadaran masyarakat dalam melakukan kerjasama pengelolaan sampa, dan 28% banjir dan 72% menyatakan tidak banjir Ketika volume air kali/sungai di sekitar perumahan Harapan Citra Insani Meningkat.

Abstract

Tidal flooding is not only caused by seawater intrusion but also reflects the complexity of urban environmental problems. Contributing factors include land subsidence due to excessive groundwater extraction, inadequate drainage systems, degradation of mangrove ecosystems, and land-use changes resulting from coastal reclamation. Therefore, this study examines the recurring phenomenon of tidal flooding in the coastal areas of Penjaringan District, North Jakarta, particularly in Muara Angke, Muara Karang, and Muara Baru. This study employs a mixed-methods approach through direct field observations, in-depth interviews with residents and community leaders, and the distribution of questionnaires to 100 respondents in the affected areas. The results indicate that tidal flooding has significant impacts on the economic, social, and health aspects of the community. Daily activities are disrupted, household incomes decline, and the risk of disease increases due to poor sanitation conditions during flood events. Although communities have implemented various adaptation measures, most respondents perceive that government interventions have not been effective or equitable. This study emphasizes the importance of collaboration between the government and local communities in developing water control infrastructure, rehabilitating mangrove ecosystems, improving drainage systems, and providing education and economic assistance to enhance the resilience of coastal communities to tidal flooding.

Abstract

Energy transition at the village level plays a crucial role in Indonesia’s strategy toward sustainable energy independence. This research examines the biogas-based renewable energy development in Argosari Village as a model of community-driven sustainability. The study integrates qualitative and quantitative analyses—spatial, environmental, and economic—using IPCC guidelines, Location Quotient (LQ), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Net Present Value (NPV). The research involved interviews with 45 households, three focus group discussions with farmer associations, and secondary data from the Malang Regency Bureau of Statistics. Results show that 57% of households have installed biogas units, reducing GHG emissions by approximately 60% (1.2 tons CO₂ per household annually), and achieving a B/C ratio of 1.75. Sensitivity analysis indicates project feasibility remains positive even under ±15% variation in maintenance and subsidy levels. Comparative analysis with rural biogas programs in India and China highlights Argosari’s unique integration of social, economic, and environmental benefits. This study contributes a replicable framework for community-scale renewable energy implementation in rural Indonesia.
