Abstract

This research was carried out in the overseas organization SAS (Sulit Air Sepakat) Pekanbaru City. The organization is a sorority  organization origaniting from Nagari Sulit Air X Koto Diatas District Solok Regenncy. This organization from the beginning wa formed until now still persists and exists in Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this research  is to find out how elements of social capital play a role in the existence of  SAS (Sulit Air Sepakat) organization and how rationality become a members in joining the SAS (Sulit Air Sepakat) organization. this research uses descriptive qualitative methods. There were also informants in this study totaling 8 people 3 of whom were supporting informants. In determininhg informants using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques namely by observation interview and documentation. The theory used is the social capital theory put forward by Putnam which consistsof 3 elements of social capital, namely networks, trust and norms. The results of this study explain that an organization requires social capital to maintain the relationship and sustainability of the SAS (Sulit Air Sepakat) organization in the City of Pekanbaru. The elements of social capital that play a role in the SAS (Sulit Air Sepakat) organization is trust. This scan be seen from the solidarity of the SAS (Sulit Air Sepakat) organization itself. the cohesiveness between the members, management and the trust given by outsiders to the SAS (Sulit Air Sepakat) organization. The rationality of members in joining the SAS (Sulit Air Sepakat) organization is instumental rationality, value-oriented rasionality and tradisonal rasionality. The rationality is carried out  by the members by considering and taking into account firts before the action is stated.  Keyword:  social capital, rasionality, SAS (Sulit Air Sepakat).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze fishermans'response about funding programm from government and the influencing factors of the funding programm in Desa Tanjung Lumba-lumba Kecamatan Kubu Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Population o this research is people work as fisherman. There are 30 fishermans in Desa Tanjung Lumba-lumba Kecamatan Kubu Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. 15 of them receive government's funding. All population member become sample. Data is analyzed descriptive quantitatively. Result shows that factors influence respondents who do not receive the fund are: low level education, lack of knowledge, and fishermans' age. There are 12 respondents (40%) do not know about the fund, 18 respondents (60%) know about it. The most dominant factor is lack of knowledge and mostly of them already have a home.Keyword: response, fisherman,government's funding programm.

Abstract

The traditional game is a kind of game that has been there and continues to be implemented by a next generation of descendants. In the village of Pasir Pandak Kecamtan Kepenuhan Rokan Regency there are jens types of traditional games played by the community of Pasir Pandak Village that is game Gasing, Patok Lele, Kelereng, Bamboo Bamboo or also called Dondobang in this research want to find out about the type of Traditional Games in Pasir Pundak Village. This research is qualitative where the technique of determining Research Subject is Purposive. The Key Informants are Youth Leaders, Customary Leaders and Community Leaders in Pasir Pandak Village.Keywords: Traditional Games

Abstract

This research aimed to found factors which influenceemployee’s performance of CV. Jaya Karya Baru in pekanbaru. thosefactors were motivation and work environment. employees who have highwork motivation will give positive effect for organization, thereforeorganization purpose reached and could work well. Hypothesis examinationcarries out by spreads questionnaire about 20 sample of the employees atCV. Jaya Karya Pekanbaru, analysis that used was validity test, using likertscale on SPSS computer program version 16 by using double linearregression analysis. Work motivation variable consists seven factors whichresponded using the presentage of formula and would beanalyized by using Quantitve Description Technique.linear regression analysis methode on the Likert scale could concludewheter that work motivation variable have both positive and significantinfluence to employee’s work motivation. therefore, hypothesis which statedthat motivation have influence to employee’s work could be accepted.Simultaneously both work motivation and work environment havepositive and significant influence to employee’s performance and could beconcluded that both work motivation and work environment have significantinfluence to employee performance of CV. Abstract

Social Capital in the Development of Bukit Condong Nature Tourism at Selensen Village, Kemuning District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine how social capital and the conditions that support and inhibit the development of natural tourism in Bukit Condong at Selensen Village, Kemuning District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The theory used in this research is the social capital theory put forward by Coleman which consists of trust, network, and norms. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study amounted to 5 people consisting of the community, including youth who participated in the development effort of the Bukit Lean natural tourism. data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data. Data collected by data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used in this study was data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are social capital which is very important in a development, or networks, beliefs, and norms that play an important role in the development of the Bukit Condong Nature Tourism at Selensen Village, Kemuning District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. Network is a link that connects individuals with other individuals or between groups with other groups which has a positive impact as in establishing cooperation in the development of this natural tourism. Trust is the basis for the relationship between actors in activities. Social norms such as methods, habits, behavior and customs are the social rules of life. Keywords: Social Capital, Natural Tourism Development

Abstract

This research was conducted at Muara Takus Village, district of XIII KotoKampar. This research aims to know any conflict actors in the development of thetourism attractions and causes of the conflict. This research entitled “SocialConflict in the Development of Tourism Attractions of Muara Takus Temple atMuara Takus Village District of XIII Koto Kampar, Kampar District”. The mainissue in this research is what are the factors in causing the conflict in thedevelopment of tourism attractions of muara takus temple and any actors involvedin it. Subjects in this research are: Kampar District Government (Department ofTourism, Youth, and Sport of Kampar District), The BPN office of Kampar(National Land Agency), The PLTA office of Koto Panjang, The District office ofXIII Koto Kampar, The Village Head, People who own land in the area of tourismattractions of muara takus temple, Traditional Leaders, and People who receiveland compensation. The sample in this research is in taken by Random Technique,with the number of subject research as 50 people.The method used was a qualitative descriptive method with qualitative dataanalysis. Data filtering instruments used are observation and interviews.Generally, through the result obtained from this research the researcherconclude: the conflicts in the development of tourism attractions of muara takustemple are vertical and horizontal conflict, between local ellites, instancy togovernment agency, the differences in mission development, while the verticalconflict between the community and government. Conflict factors in thedevelopment of tourism attractions of muara takus temple: From the research thatthe problem of social conflict in the development of muara takus temple is due toland compensation issue which is still floating and is caused by unclear landownership.Kata Kunci : Konflik Sosial, Candi Muara Takus, Kecamatan XIII Koto Kampar

Abstract

This study describe about the maintain social capital in community vespa uvorable Pekanbaru. Maintaining social capital in the community can be seen through some of the indicators of which is the notion of social capital, social capital in a community, the elements of social capital, the norm in social capital and social networks.The study population was a member of the community joined in uvorable vespa motorcycle community in Pekanbaru. Sampling method used in this study is proportionate stratified sampling techniques and data analysis used is descriptive and qualitative analysis.Data was collected by using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The theory used is the Social Group Theory and Theory of Social Capital. This study aims to determine the history of the formation of uvorable vespa community, to know what their purpose in forming a community of Vespa unvorable well as to determine the existence of a community of Vespa uvorable Results from this study is that the members of the community joined in Pekanbaru uvorable vespa community have one thought and one purpose the same that they vespa motor fans and they do not want the motor vespa they use now become old items no longer used because of the rapid developments in automotive technology. Abstract

This research examines the Basiacuong Tradition in Kampar Riau. culture is an inseparable part of the civilization of a region, thetradition basiacuong is the proverbial language used by the Kampar community in general in various traditional events. Thetradition basiacuonghas been known for a long time in the community so that its formation patterns are always passed on from generation to generation. thetradition basiacuong has special values that are considered in the community, generally the values become a reference for community guidelines in behaving and behaving. In the research process, the researcher examines the connectedness of the community in viewing and seeing thetradition basiacuong and the system inside the basiacuong. The researcher used the theory of symbolic interaction. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with 13 research subjects consisting of tribal ninik mamak and village youth. The results of this study indicate that the traditionaltradition basiacuong has a special value that is seen in the community so that the community has a standard value in viewing the traditionaltradition basiacuong. Abstract

This research was conducted in Kemuning Sub-district of Indragiri Hilir Regency with title of research of Tradition of Pregnant Mother Care in Society. This study aims to determine the stages of women's care in the community of Kemuning Sub-district Indragiri Hilir and to know if the tradition value in pregnant women treatment already conform with the medic treatment in the clinic. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Subjects in this study consist of 9 people, midwives and customs leaders who can help researchers. The purpose of purposive sampling is to adjust to research objectives. The data collection of reports using guidelines. The results show that currently rituals are still performed pregnant women in the Malay community. Pregnancy care pregnant women are not free from the help of a shaman and many taboos that should not be done by a pregnant woman. The food that do not allowed to consume by the pregnant women consist of some animal and begetable. Pregnant women apply some things that should not be done during pregnancy. The role of a husband in pregnancy is to lead the wife to studying pregnancy, while the role of in-laws or parents during pregnancy is to help with homework such as cooking and other homework. In the family of pregnancy care is the routine exams and the implementation of midwife messages, continue pregnancy abstinence, consultation to the midwife when it is sick, regards the message of the family, often eat cashew for the confidence of the child's skin Is born white later (it is Believed By the Malay community) and to the dentist there are sick. Family and midwife are sources of information. Safe information in pregnancy care is information that comes from a midwife.Keywords; Tradition, pregnant women’s care, Malay ssociety

Abstract

Problems of gangsterism which do Pemuda Pancasila is a problem that cannot be ignored, because a lot of thuggery Pemuda Pancasila taking repressivemeasures against the people, resulting Pemuda Pancasila get a bad perceptionamong the public. They say that the Pemuda Pancasila as Community Organisationsthugs. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Pancasila Youth inthe community, as well as actions undertaken Pancasila Youth thuggery, to identifyand analyze public perceptions of the youth public organizations in the District FiftyPancasila. The research method was use traditional quantitative methods. Datacollected by interview, observation, and documentation. Subjects in this study wereCommunity leaders, NGOs, as well as the District Fifty community. While the objectof this research is the public perception of community organization PemudaPancasila PAC District of Fifty. The results in this study show that (1). Publicperception of the organization Pemuda Pancasila is very bad, because people assumethat Pemuda Pancasila often repressive action (racketeering) in District Fifty. (2).There are many other activities that are carried out are thuggery such as PemudaPancasila, the collection of money cleanliness, collecting protection money, theseizure of the parking area, and competition for land development projects (assecurity) that is carried out by the government or private parties in the District ofFifty.Keywords: Organization, Percepcy, Society, and Gangsterims
