Abstract

The education system is a method for directing the educational process. All aspects of learning must be regulated by the educational system. Because each country has a unique system, it is necessary to compare the education system in Indonesia to that of other countries in order to assess and evaluate it. This paper aims to explain and analyze differences in educational systems; and comparing the basic education curricula in Indonesia and Australia. This research is conceptual. Data collection methods are books, the internet, and journals. The study analysis was carried out by collecting and analyzing information about the education system in Indonesia and Australia. The results of the study show that: (1) Australia requires children to study for 10 years, while in Indonesia for 12 years, Australia holds a NAPLAN test and Indonesia holds a NE, and teacher qualifications must be undergraduate in Australia and Indonesia; (2) differences in the education system, among others, the level of material difficulty, assessment, rewards, learning atmosphere, teaching staff, education staff, and religious subjects; and (3) the curriculum in Indonesia has a relationship between education, customs, arts, and religions, meanwhile, the Australian curriculum is designed to support students to be successful, active, well-off and knowledgeable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi Model Pembelajaran Among dalam membentuk karakter kerja keras. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dari guru kelas enam, kepala sekolah, dan siswa. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan induktif dengan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran dilakukan melalui pelatihan dan penyusunan modul ajar yang memasukkan Model Pembelajaran Among. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menekankan fleksibilitas dan prinsip asah, asih, asuh. Hambatan yang dihadapi termasuk kesulitan guru dalam beradaptasi dengan model baru dan mengarahkan siswa yang berbicara terlalu banyak. Solusi yang diajukan termasuk kesabaran, ketelatenan, konsistensi guru, dan memberikan penjelasan yang berkelanjutan kepada siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman implementasi Model Pembelajaran Among dalam membentuk karakter siswa, serta menawarkan solusi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to improve student activeness and learning outcomes in mathematics subjects, especially multiplication and division materials, by applying a demonstration method using PAS rope media in grade II SD Negeri Gentan 03, Bendosari District, Sukoharjo Regency. Classroom action research methods are used with several cycles that include planning, action execution, observation, and reflection. Data was collected through observation of student activity, test results, and observation of teacher activity. Before the action was taken, student activity was moderate with an active level of 50%. After the application of the demonstration method with PAS rope media, there was a significant increase in student activity. In cycle I, the level of activity increased to 61% (medium category), in cycle II it increased to 74% (medium category), and in cycle III it increased to 94% (high category). Student learning outcomes before the action showed that 61% of students were incomplete, and 39% of students were complete (low category). However, after conducting research with demonstration methods and PAS rope media, there was an increase in learning outcomes. In cycle I, incomplete students decreased to 39%, and completed students increased to 61% (medium category). In cycle II, incomplete students decreased to 29%, and completed students increased to 71% (medium category). In cycle III, there was a significant increase with only 7% of students who had not completed, and 93% of students completed (high category).

Abstract

Modernization is a change that occurs in a multidimensional society in the social, political, economic, and cultural fields by utilizing technology and communication to achieve a better life. Moral degradation is a form of weakening a cultural value owned by society that leads to the formation of a new culture clash. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of modernization development on moral degradation, especially manners in elementary school students. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which refers to a particular research methodology to collect data in accordance with the focus of the research topic. The development of modernization not only has a positive impact but also a negative impact that has an impact on moral decline, especially on manners in children. Modernization provides freedom and ease of access to information that has an impact on the lives of elementary school students prone to moral degradation. The results of this study students were able to limit themselves to the development of modernization through understanding the importance of social values and apply in the school environment. The impact of this study students can distinguish and select any modernization that has an impact on moral change

Abstract

This research discusses whether or not there is an influence of the use of interactive PowerPoint media on student learning outcomes, especially for grade IV students. This type of research is quantitative with a one group pretest-posttest design, with the research subjects being class IV students at MI Al Falah Beran, with a total of 28 respondents. The research instruments used in this research were tests and questionnaires. The collected data was processed and analyzed using SPSS 25 for windows software. Based on the test results, students using the pretest and posttest experienced an increase, the average score for the pretest was 64.46 while the posttest was 78.80. The results of the questionnaire that have been analyzed show that there are 15 respondents out of 28 respondents who answered yes in using interactive PowerPoint media and the results of the t test show that this interactive PowerPoint media has a significant influence as seen from the sig (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 . The conclusion from the test results of this research is that there is an influence of the use of interactive PowerPoint media on student learning outcomes at MI AL Falah Beran.

Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that inhibit writing skills in grade 2 students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Birul Walidain in Widodaren. The research methods used included classroom observation, interviews with teachers, and student surveys, with the participation of 6 grade 2 students of MI Birul Walidain Widodaren. Data analysis using milles and huberman techniques. The results showed several significant factors that hindered students' writing skills. The main obstacle in learning to write is the lack of focus and practice at home, where parents focus more on reading skills. The importance of providing time and opportunities for students to practice writing each day is highlighted as an important strategy in improving students' writing skills. The implication of this research is the need to develop strategies to improve student focus, increase parents' awareness of the importance of learning to write at home, and provide students with time and opportunities to practice writing every day.

Abstract

The Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Project of the Independent Curriculum aims to improve student character and competence in line with the Pancasila student profile based on the Graduation Competency Standard. One of the character development initiatives is the Critical Reasoning Skills Improvement Project. This study seeks to evaluate the impact of the Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) Project on the critical reasoning ability of grade IV students of MI Birul Walidain Banyubiru, as well as the extent of the impact. The results of the hypothesis verification of the Paired Samples T-Test showed a significant effect with Sig (2-Tailed) < 0.002. In addition, the R-Squared hypothesis test (2-tailed) showed that the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable was 0.073 which means effectiveness of 7.3%, while the remaining 92.7% was not taken into account. In addition, the average pretest and posttest calculations showed an increase in post-treatment, with an average pretest score of 72.61538 and an average posttest score of 91.61538.

Abstract

This study delves into the impact of employing the Mind Mapping technique on the proficiency of fifth-grade students in crafting short stories within the Indonesian language curriculum at SDN Mangunharjo 3 Ngawi. Employing a quantitative approach, the research adopts the True Experimental Design format. This experimental method meticulously assesses the influence of an independent variable (the treatment) on a dependent variable (the outcome) under controlled circumstances. With a focus on sample representation, all participants partake as respondents, utilizing a saturated sampling technique. The findings underscore a notable enhancement in students' narrative composition skills when utilizing the Mind Mapping technique, as evidenced by the Paired Sample t-Test analysis. The statistical analysis reveals a significant disparity, as indicated by the sig value (2-tailed) of 0.003, falling below the threshold of 0.005. Consequently, the null hypothesis (H0) is refuted, while the alternative hypothesis (Hadi) is validated, affirming the significant influence of Mind Mapping in this instructional context. So the conclusion of this research is that the experimental group as a treatment group used the mind mapping method more effectively.
