Abstract

Find out the live location of the family or friends that be city bus passengers is the one of city bus application users needs that hasn t been implemented yet until now, so we propose the design of software engineering that has the main feature in the form of shared live location with people that allow knowing with utilizing Unified Model Language Diagram. There are 3 (three) types of UML Diagram that have we created in this research, including Use Case Diagram, Class Diagram, and Activity Diagram. Besides that, we also produce Entity Relational Diagram and System Design to fit up the design of software engineering. Thus with modeling software before starting the development process, the system will be structured and delivered to the user as well.

Abstract

Abstract

GOBIS Suroboyo is a mobile application designed to assist Suroboyo Bus passengers in accessing route information, schedules, and general bus details. Despite its potential, the application has lacked systematic user experience evaluation, resulting in usability issues that require improvement. This study aims to optimize the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the GOBIS Suroboyo application using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. The research was conducted through four main stages: analysis of the existing application, identification of user needs, redesign of the interface, and evaluation of the resulting prototype. The usability evaluation was performed using the Short User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ-S), which assessed both hedonic and pragmatic qualities. The results showed mean scores of 1.69 for hedonic quality and 1.425 for pragmatic quality, which fall into the "Excellent" and "Above Average" categories, respectively, based on the benchmark scale. These results indicate that the redesigned prototype is engaging, motivating, efficient, and user-friendly. This study concludes that the UCD approach, with active user involvement, is effective in enhancing the user experience of mobile applications.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates how Islam Nusantara is represented, contested, and legitimized across digital platforms, focusing on its role as both a cultural-religious discourse and a site of ideological negotiation. Methodology/approach: A mixed-method triangulation was employed, combining quantitative content analysis, qualitative framing analysis, and philological examination of digitized manuscripts. Validity and reliability were maintained through systematic coding, intercoder agreement, peer debriefing, re-coding cycles, and cross-referencing of manuscript variants. Results/findings: The quantitative findings reveal that Islam Nusantara discourse appeared in 2,354 posts across three major platforms, with 62% inclusivist frames, 28% nationalist frames, and 10% critical frames. Frequently recurring terms such as religious moderation, Islam rahmatan lil-‘alamin, and local culture confirm its online resonance. Framing analysis uncovers inclusivist, nationalist, and critical lenses shaping the discourse, while philological analysis demonstrates continuity with historical traditions of Islam–local culture synthesis. Conclusions: Islam Nusantara’s digital representation is multi-dimensional, shaped by both contemporary ideological contestation and deep-rooted textual legitimacy. The integration of quantitative, qualitative, and philological evidence provides a comprehensive framework for understanding religious discourse in the digital age. Limitations: The data are time-bound (up to June 2023) and limited to selected digital platforms, which may not fully capture the broader scope of Islam Nusantara debates. Contribution: The study theoretically introduces a triangulated methodological model (content, framing, philological) in digital religion research. Practically, it highlights Islam Nusantara’s potential to strengthen moderate Islamic discourse and support digital religious policies that foster inclusivity and cultural integration.

Abstract

Sentiment Analysis is a scientific study in the field of Machine Learning that focuses on classifying opinions expressed in text. IMDb is a platform widely used to provide information and share viewpoints among moviegoers worldwide, where audience reactions often serve as a benchmark for a movie’s success. This research aims to classify positive and negative sentiments by applying and evaluating the effectiveness of Support Vector Machine (SVM) with four different feature representation methods: (a) Bag of Words (BoW), (b) TF-IDF, (c) Word2Vec, and (d) Doc2Vec. After preprocessing the textual data, each method was employed to extract features for model training. The experimental results demonstrate that the combination of SVM with Word2Vec achieved the best overall performance with an F1-Score of 0.8607 and an Accuracy of 0.8607, while also being the fastest in training time (75.0s). In comparison, BoW reached an F1-Score of 0.8219, TF-IDF achieved 0.8520, and Doc2Vec obtained 0.8440. These findings highlight that Word2Vec provides the most effective feature representation for sentiment classification using SVM in this study.
