Abstract

Sosialisasi yang akan diberikan kepada SMA Warga Surakarta adalah berupa penyuluhan mengenai demokrasi di Indonesia dan pentingnya partisipasi pemilih pemula dalam pemilihan umum. Hal tersebut bertujuan agar siswa SMA Warga Surakarta lebih siap untuk menjadi pemilih pemula yang tidak mudah untuk dipengaruhi oleh pihak- pihakyang tidak bertanggungjawab dalam kegiatan politik praktis. Karena rentang usia siswa SMA Warga Surakarta yang memasuki usia Pemilih Pemula rentan mendapatkan informasi-informasi yang membingungkan dan hoax terkait politik dan Pemilu. Dalam pelaksanaan Pengabdian Maysrakat bertemakan Penyuluhan Demokrasi di Indonesia danPentingnya Partisipasi Sebagai Pemilih Pemula dalam Pemilu ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi. Penyuluhan ini ditujukan agar materi terkait demokrasi di Indonesia dapat tersampaikan, difahami dan dapat diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat den bernegara. Penyuluhan akan dilakukan selama dua jam dan diikuti oleh siswa SMAWarga Surakarta sebanyak 70 orang dari siswa kelas XI dan kelas XII. Dengan begitu, diharapkan siswa SMA Warga Surakarta dapat menjadi agen generasi penerus bangsa Indonesia yang mewujudkan demokrasi menuju Indonesia yang lebih baik dan adil.

Abstract

Penyuluhan kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk pencegahan tindak perundungan di lingkungan kampus Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini diikuti oleh sekitar 75 mahasiswa Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah Pemaparan materi yaitu pemateri memberikan sosialisasi dan pemahaman mengenai tindak perundungan, faktor penyebabnya, dampak yang ditimbulkan, dan pencegahan serta penanganan apabila terjadi tindak perundungan. Selain itu, metode pelaksanaan penyuluhan ini menggunakan pre test dan post yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui  pemahaman mahasiswa  terkait  materi  selama  pelatihan. Pre-test  dilaksanakan  sebelum  pelatihan dimulai  pada  pertemuan  pertama.  Sementara  itu post-test  dilaksanakan  pada  saat  akhir pertemuan kedua. Kegiatan pre  test  didapatkan nilai rata-rata 4,5, sedangkan saat dilakukan post  test nilai rata-rata 9,3. Dengan  adanya  peningkatan  nilai  tersebut  dapat  disimpulkan adanya pemahaman yang baik dari para peserta penyuluhan.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the global insights of young citizens and the conceptual framework of global citizenship education in Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study method carried out through several stages ranging from collecting, analyzing, to interpreting data from various written sources, such as books, journal articles, research reports, and other documents. Global insight includes not only knowledge of international events, but also an in-depth understanding of how those events are interrelated and impact everyday life in different parts of the world. In this era, young people must be able to think critically and be adaptive to global changes, as well as have high social awareness to be able to contribute positively in a global society. Global awareness includes cultural awareness, interconnectivity, global identity, social responsibility and critical thinking skills. All these dimensions aim to equip youth with the necessary skills to participate in a global society and deal with international issues. In the Indonesian curriculum, global citizenship education needs to be integrated with relevant approaches through thematic learning, collaborative projects, and the use of technology, aligned with the standards set by UNESCO to encourage awareness and active participation in global issues. This approach includes a number of key elements designed to improve learners' understanding, skills and attitudes in an interconnected global context.

Abstract

Abstract Youth empowerment aims to increase the role of youth in tackling and reducing the percentage of covid-19 cases through social activities that can help residents who are confirmed to be covid-19. The service activity was carried out in Wirogunan Village, Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency. The method used in Community Service with the theme of youth empowerment is mentoring with a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, which is an approach in formulating plans and policies in rural areas by involving youth as effectively as possible. Mentoring activities were carried out for 3 weeks with 5 people from Toughness Youth. The results of the implementation, namely the overall empowerment of youth in the implementation of independent PPKM in Wirogunan village during the covid-19 pandemic can be said to be successful, because there is an increase in knowledge and skills as well as a conscious and caring attitude towards improving the welfare of the affected residents. The results of the pre test stated that the knowledge, skills and attitudes of youth regarding youth empowerment in the implementation of independent PPKM in Wirogunan village during the covid-19 pandemic was 30%. While the results after the post test and mentoring were carried out, the knowledge and skills and attitudes of conscious and caring behavior of youth increased to 90%. This success can be measured by the number of youths who play an active role in these “Toughness Youth” activities, and can also be seen from the satisfaction of the youth after participating in the activities, thus motivating youth to improve the welfare of the residents in Wirogunan Village, Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi karakter peduli lingkungan di sekolah adiwiyata, faktor-faktor penghambat dan tantangan serta solusi dalam implementasi karakter peduli lingkungan di sekolah adiwiyata. Pendekatan penelitian yaitu dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian yakni penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik, guru, dan wakil kepala sekolah SMP Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian antara lain wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi karakter peduli lingkungan di SMP Negeri 2 Sukoharjo sebagai sekolah Adiwiyata yakni: a) warga sekolah harus mempunyai wawasan mengenai lingkungan, b) menerapkan kurikulum berbasis lingkungan, c) mengembangkan isu lokal maupun global dalam pembelajaran, d) melakukan pembiasaan-pembiasaan peduli lingkungan, dan lain-lain. Faktor penghambatnya yaitu: a) kurangnya kesadaran diri peserta didik dalam mengikuti kegiatan program Adiwiyata sekolah, b) sarana dan prasarana yang belum memadai, c) kurangnya kekompakan dan kebersamaan warga sekolah dalam melaksanakan kegiatan peduli lingkungan, dan lain-lain. Solusi implementasi karakter peduli lingkungan di sekolah Adiwiyata yakni a) Menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif dalam mendukung program Adiwiyata melalui kegiatan-kegiatan program sekolah, b) Menguatkan perilaku peserta didik dengan melakukan pembiasaan-pembiasaan positif yang mendukung pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan yang diimplementasikan melalui pembelajaran dan kebiasaan di sekolah, c) Memberikan pengetahuan melalui sosialisasi mengenai kepedulian lingkungan terhadap peserta didik yang berdampak pada kesehatan, dan lain-lain. This study aims to determine the implementation of the character of caring for the environment in Adiwiyata schools, the inhibiting factors and challenges and solutions in implementing the character of caring for the environment in Adiwiyata schools. The research approach is to use a qualitative approach with the type of research that is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were students, teachers, and vice principals of SMP Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. Research data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of the character of caring for the environment at SMP Negeri 2 Sukoharjo as an Adiwiyata school is: a) school members must have insight into the environment, b) implement an environment-based curriculum, c) develop local and global issues in learning, d) carry out environmental care habits, and others. The inhibiting factors are: a) lack of self-awareness of students in participating in school Adiwiyata program activities, b) inadequate facilities and infrastructure, c) lack of cohesiveness and togetherness of school members in carrying out environmental care activities, and others. The solution for implementing the character of caring for the environment in Adiwiyata schools is a) Creating a conducive environment in supporting the Adiwiyata program through activities that have been programmed by the school, b) Strengthen the behavior of students by carrying out positive habits that support the development of environmental care characters that are implemented through learning and habits at school, c) Providing knowledge through outreach regarding environmental awareness to students that has an impact on health, and and others.
