Abstract

In the construction of vertical residences, appropriate architectural standards are very necessary, especially in terms of the safety of building occupants, because unexpected events such as earthquakes and fires can occur at any time, this must be a separate focus when designing a vertical residence, as is one of the facilities Building safety commonly used as an emergency route is a fire ladder. In designing fire stairs, of course, guidance is needed, one of which is DKI Gubernatorial Regulation number 72 of 2021. Assessing the quality of fire stairs design is very important in ensuring the safety of building occupants in the event of a fire. The aim of the research is to analyze the design dimensions of the fire stairs in the Gading Nias Residence Apartment building, North Jakarta. This research was conducted using a comparative analysis method by collecting data, analyzing, evaluating the results and drawing conclusions regarding the suitability of implementation of DKI Gubernatorial Regulation number 72 of 2021 and providing recommendations for improvements if necessary. Through a literature study and comparative analysis of fire stair design measures, this research provides a deeper understanding of effective design principles for overcoming fire hazards. The research steps were carried out by visiting and observing the location directly, then measuring the design of the fire stairs in the Gading Nias Residence apartment and comparing it with DKI Gubernatorial Regulation number 72 of 2021. The research limitation is on the application of fire ladder design dimensions Therefore, it is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the evaluation of the design of fire stairs and in particular regarding the measurements to make the best fire ladder plan to increase the overall safety of vertical buildings.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly influenced the advancement of science and various other aspects. The realm of architectural design, both in the professional and educational fields, is not exempt from the influence of digital technology. Despite the fact that some architects still utilize traditional methods, digital technology has shifted traditional methods in architectural design. This writing aims to examine the role of digital technology in the world of architectural design. The method employed in this writing involves a literature review of several related studies. From the conducted review, it can be concluded that digital technology has made the architectural design process more efficient and straightforward. Additionally, with digital technology, architects can explore geometrical forms with high complexity. This is possible because computers nowadays are not merely used as tools to produce drawings or expedite the design process (computerization), but they actively play a role and are integrated into the architectural design process (computation).

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk memecahkan masalah yang muncul sebagai akibat dari perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan masalah yang dihadapi umat manusia. Metode ilmiah berasal dari pendekatan ilmiah untuk menjawab masalah tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang berbeda digunakan oleh peneliti untuk memecahkan masalah penelitian. Ada banyak metode penelitian, seperti eksperimen, korelasi, kausal komparatif, deskriptif, evaluasi, kebijakan, tindakan kelas, sejarah, survei, studi kasus, pengembangan, dan kepustakaan. Metode penelitian kepustakaan, atau penelitian kepustakaan, digunakan untuk menyelidiki tulisan ini dengan melakukan pemeriksaan mendalam dan kritis terhadap sumber daya pustaka yang relevan, seperti buku dan jurnal yang dapat diandalkan. Ini adalah fenomena yang menarik untuk dipertanyakan. Studi kasus menjadi berguna apabila seseorang atau peneliti ingin memahami suatu masalah atau situasi secara menyeluruh dan apabila orang dapat mengidentifikasi kasus yang penuh dengan informasi. Ini karena suatu masalah yang signifikan dapat dipelajari melalui beberapa contoh fenomena dan biasanya dalam bentuk pertanyaan.
