Abstract

Abstract Introduction: Playing is a reflection of physical, intellectual, emotional, social abilities and playing is a good medium for learning because by playing, children will speak, learn to adapt to the environment, do what they can, and recognize time, distance and sound.Objective: To apply the Rubik's game to improve fine motor skills in school-aged childrenMethod: This therapy research for playing Rubik's uses the educational method of inviting children to play with Rubik's and forming Rubik's in various shapes. This play therapy was carried out on 9 students at SDN 1 Panaragan, Ciamis District, Ciamis Regency with a total of 30 children as respondents and accompanied by a homeroom teacher. This play therapy is carried out in 2 stages, namely 1) asking children to match the colors on the rubik, 2) asking children to form with patience and continuing to practice, 3) evaluation. Result: The application of play therapy education to students at SDN 1 Panaragan Ciamis gave significant results as proven by 30 respondents. This type of game is challenging and can help develop creativity, problem solving and fine motor skills. This game is very popular throughout the world and is used as an aid in mathematics and art education.Conclussion: After reviewing various theoretical sources regarding the fine motor skills of early childhood, it can be seen how important it is to develop children's fine motor skills as early as possible because motor development is closely related to the development of the motor center in the brain. One way to develop fine motor skills in early childhood is by playing. In the research, the play activities used were playing with rubik's in various shapes, such as forming animals or balls, which can attract children's attention.

Abstract

Nutrisi yang seimbang sangat penting untuk mendukung proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. anak usia sekolah sangat dipengaruhi oleh pola makan yang mengandung nutrisi seimbang sangat diperlukan untuk mempertahankan kesehatan tubuhuntuk mendukung sistem kekebalan tubuh, meningkatkan kemampuan intelektual, dan menjaga kesehatan secara keseluruhan. Status gizi yang optimal sangat penting untuk memastikan kesejahteraan individu. Sebaliknya, ketidakseimbangan asupan gizi, baik berupa kelebihan maupun kekurangan, dapat memicu berbagai masalah kesehatan. Anak usia sekolah yang kekurangan gizi sering mengalami gejala seperti mudah lelah, kurang bersemangat, dan kesulitan berkonsentrasi saat belajar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya edukasi kepada siswa untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mereka mengenai pentingnya gizi seimbang. Edukasi ini bertujuan untuk memperluas wawasan siswa tentang konsep gizi seimbang. Salah satu pendekatan yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah metode Nutriedutainment, yang melibatkan Pre-test dan post-test, dan diterapkan pada Peserta didik kelas 4, di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Gunong Kleng. Melalui kegiatan ini, siswa menunjukkan pemahaman tentang gizi seimbang dengan mampu menjawab pertanyaan mengenai komponen gizi seimbang serta menyebutkan berbagai jenis makanan sehat yang termasuk dalam gizi seimbang. Sepanjang proses kegiatan, peserta memperhatikan dengan baik dan menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi

Abstract

Although mathematics is essential for helping students develop their critical thinking abilities, it is frequently seen as challenging, which lowers motivation and achievement, especially when it comes to the study of connections and functions. The purpose of this study os to examine how students’ motivation and learning results in mathematics are affected when the Game Based Learning (GBL) paradigm is implemented with the help of Baamboozle media. With a post-test-only control group design, the study used an experimental approach with 65 eighth-grade students split into two groups: a control group (30 students) that used cooperative learning and an experimental group (35 students) that used GBL-Baamboozle. A learning achievement exam and a motivation questionnaire were used to gather data, and t-tests and effect size calculations were used for analysis. The findings revealed a significant effect of GBL-Baamboozle on learning motivation (p = 0.000; d = 2.22) and learning outcomes (p = 0.000; d = 2.28), both categorized as high. These results indicate that the use of GBL supported by Baamboozle effectively enhances students’ engagement and academic performance in mathematics. Therefore, technology-assisted game-based learning can be considered a promising and innovative strategy to improve mathematics instruction at the secondary school level.
