Abstract

Various factors, including site-specific, determine the key to the success of pest control, carried out in a vast expanse, simultaneously and with good coordination between relevant agencies/officials, and the active role of farmers. Therefore, it is necessary to compile field references. The Directorate of Food Crop Protection, as the institution responsible for pest control, issued the OPT Control Technical Guidelines. This technical guide is expected to be used as a guide by stakeholders in terms of controlling OPT. Plant-disturbing organisms are found in many cereal plants. Cereals are grass-type plants producing starchy seeds that are usually processed into food. Cereals or cereals are plant species of rice-grain and grass-grass-grass-cultivated to produce grains. The objectives of implementing Community Service are (1). To find out the organisms that interfere with cereals, (2). To perfect and prevent the attack of organisms on cereals, (3). To carry out treatment of cereals that disturbing organisms have attacked. The principle of controlling plant pests developed today is to reduce the number of pest populations that attack plants to a population level that is not harmful. The components of OPT control that can be applied to achieve these objectives include (1). Physical control of OPT, (2). Mechanical Control of OPT.

Abstract

Factually the value of entrepreneurship can be utilized as part of a marketing strategy. The objectives of this activity include: 1). Describe the business conditions of MSMEs in Sungai Baung Village? ; 2). Describe the form of MSME Marketing strategy in Sungai Baung Village?. Empirical studies show the urgency of marketing strategy practices to get  a positive trend of small and medium business development. With the holding of this community service, it was concluded that service activities on counseling marketing strategies to MSMEs in Sungai Baung Village could add insight and knowledge to MSME actors in developing their businesses

Abstract

Abstract Introduction: Playing is a reflection of physical, intellectual, emotional, social abilities and playing is a good medium for learning because by playing, children will speak, learn to adapt to the environment, do what they can, and recognize time, distance and sound.Objective: To apply the Rubik's game to improve fine motor skills in school-aged childrenMethod: This therapy research for playing Rubik's uses the educational method of inviting children to play with Rubik's and forming Rubik's in various shapes. This play therapy was carried out on 9 students at SDN 1 Panaragan, Ciamis District, Ciamis Regency with a total of 30 children as respondents and accompanied by a homeroom teacher. This play therapy is carried out in 2 stages, namely 1) asking children to match the colors on the rubik, 2) asking children to form with patience and continuing to practice, 3) evaluation. Result: The application of play therapy education to students at SDN 1 Panaragan Ciamis gave significant results as proven by 30 respondents. This type of game is challenging and can help develop creativity, problem solving and fine motor skills. This game is very popular throughout the world and is used as an aid in mathematics and art education.Conclussion: After reviewing various theoretical sources regarding the fine motor skills of early childhood, it can be seen how important it is to develop children's fine motor skills as early as possible because motor development is closely related to the development of the motor center in the brain. One way to develop fine motor skills in early childhood is by playing. In the research, the play activities used were playing with rubik's in various shapes, such as forming animals or balls, which can attract children's attention.

Abstract

Desa Tenam berada di Kabupaten Batang Hari dimana masyrakatnya banyak berprofesi sebagai petani karet. Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat mendukung kegiatan masyarakat yang tergabung dalam ibu-ibu PKK adalah tentang  pembuatan ZPT (Zat Pengatur Tumbuh).  ZPT alami dapat dibuat dengan bahan dasar lokal seperti tauge.Taoge mengandung ZPT giberellin serta dapat berfungsi sebagai pupuk pelengkap cair.Masyarakat selama ini menganggap bahwa dalam pertumbuhan tanaman hanya cukup menggunakan pupuk saja. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil setelah melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dikelompok ibu-ibu PKK yang dilakukan oleh tim Universitas Garaha Karya Muara Bulian desa Tenam mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk membuat ZPT alami berbahan dasar tauge.

Abstract

Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) is a popular medium used among white oyster mushroom seedlings. The source of nutrition in this PDA media comes from potato decoction extract, because potatoes have a high carbohydrate content, where in every 100 grams of potatoes contain 85.6 g carbohydrates, 0.3 g protein, and 0.1 g fat. This study aims to determine the effect of concentration and obtain a concentration of potato extract that provides the best growth of F0 seed mycelium. The study was conducted using an experimental method using Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with one factor treatment, namely the difference in potato extract concentration on PDA media, namely with 6 levels of potato extract concentration of 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and 35%. The data analysis method using Anova tables is carried out with DNMRT and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the concentration of potato extract on PDA media had a significant effect on the growth of F0 seed mycelium of white oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus) and at a concentration of 25% had provided the best growth.  Keywords: Potato Dextrose Agar, Mycelium Growth, White Oyster Mushroom INTISARIPotato Dextrose Agar (PDA) merupakan media yang populer digunakan dikalangan pembibit jamur tiram putih. Sumber nutrisi pada media PDA ini berasal dari ekstrak rebusan kentang, karena kentang memiliki kandungan karbohidrat yang tinggi, dimana dalam  setiap 100 gram kentang mengandung karbohidrat  85,6 g, protein 0,3 g, dan lemak 0,1 g. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi dan mendapatkan konsetrasi ekstrak kentang yang memberikan pertumbuhan miselium bibit F0 terbaik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan  metode eksperimental menggunakan  Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan satu faktor yaitu perbedaan konsentrasi ekstrak kentang pada media PDA, yaitu dengan 6 tingkat konsentrasi ekstrak  kentang  10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% dan 35%. Metode analisis data menggunakan tabel Anova dilanjukan dengan DNMRT dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi ekstrak kentang  pada media PDA berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan miselium bibit F0 jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus) dan pada konsentrasi 25 % telah memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik. Kata kunci: Potato Dextrose Agar, Pertumbuhan Miselium, Jamur Tiram Putih

Abstract

Currently, large oil palm plantations are cultivated on ultisol. Ultisol has various constraints in its utilization for the cultivation of plants, because it has high exchangeable Al, low pH, low soil organic nutrient contained, and soil nutrients such as N, P, K, Ca, Mg. Large quantities and continuous fertilizer are needed for a long time. To solve these problems required to look for alternative fertilizers. These alternative fertilizers are expected to reduce the use of synthetic fertilizers without decreasing production and are available forever. Efforts to produce that location organic matter are the right choice. Tithonia can be grown in the form of alley cropping at young palm plantations. A series of experiments have been conducted at Andalas University experimental farm in Padang, West Sumatra Province. This study used the Factorial design. The treatments are tithonia compost and Lime application. There are 3 rd compost doses in 3 replication each treatment. The experimental obtained that tithonia compost dosage 25% and 50% + 25% and 50% synthetic fertilizer were changed soil chemical properties such as increased 0.94 units soil pH, availability of nutrient contained; 6.22% C-organic, 0.25% N-total, 0.37me/100g exchangeable K, 2.74 me/100g exchangeable-Ca, 0.29 me/100g exchangeable-Mg, in the soil, as well as the decrease of exchangeable Al. Furthermore supporting plant growth such as (plant height, plant length, and the number of the leaf). Liming not significantly different for soil chemical properties and growth of oil palm. The higher the compost dose is given the better the growth of oil palms. Abstract

Oil palm has high economic value and is one of Indonesia’s most significant contributors to foreign exchange. The management of oil palm seedlings is important in determining their growth and subsequent development in the field. Research on the application of oil palm ash and nitrogen fertilizer was conducted at the pre-nursery stage. This study aims to determine the effects of oil palm ash and nitrogen fertilizer on the growth performance of oil palm seedlings in the pre-nursery stage. The experiment employed a factorial randomized block design with two factors. The first factor was the dose of oil palm ash (A), consisting of A1 = 600 g/g/polybag, A2 = 800 g/g/polybag, A3 = 1000 g/g/polybag. The second factor was the dose of nitrogen fertilizer (N), consisting of N1 = 100 mg/polybag, N2 = 200 mg/polybag, and N3 = 300 mg/polybag. The results showed that the interaction between the dose of oil palm ash and nitrogen fertilizer significantly affected both fresh weight and dry weight of oil palm seedlings. The combination of 1000 g/g/ g/polybag of oil palm ash and 200 mg/polybag of nitrogen fertilizer produced the best growth, yielding 7.77 g/g/plant of fresh weight and 2.39 g/g/plant of dry weight. Based on observation of plant growth, the application of oil palm ash did not show a significant effect on plant height, leaf length, or number of leaves. However, the highest stem diameter was recorded in treatment A2 (0.77 cm), which was significantly different from treatment A3. In contrast, the application of nitrogen fertilizer at a rate of 100 g per (N1) resulted in the lowest plant height (21.70 cm) and the shortest leaf length (17.36 cm), both of which were significantly different from the other treatments. The largest stem diameter was obtained in treatment N2 (0.79 cm), which was substantially different from N1. No significant differences were observed in the number of leaves among the treatments.
