Abstract

Hijab is a female genital covering commonly used by adult women. The number of hijab wearing fashion modes is developing, this makes one of the factors lack of understanding about using the correct hijab. By utilizing image processing using classification techniques can be distinguished between veiled women and not veiled. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is an artificial intelligence that presents like a human brain by means of learning. ANN can be embedded into a computer program for the calculation process. One of the uses of ANN is to process the image to be classified. Image processing stages are data acquisition, preprocessing, edge detection, training, testing and classification. Based on the tests that have been carried out as many as 20 experiments, the results of image classification using Artificial Neural Network algorithm and backpropagation learning methods show a good level of accuracy.

Abstract

Abstract This research present about a steering control system on a vehicle whicgh is called Electrical Power Steering (EPS) that aims to observe and compare the position of EPS system with and without using PID controller. The EPS system has a state space order by 6x6 with one of the motor outputs to be controlled by a Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller and uses the MATLAB application as a simulation of the EPS system. The simulation is carried out in two stages, namely the simulation of an EPS system without controlling and simulating an EPS system using a PID controller. The results show ,that the position controller on EPS with the PID control method reaches the desired position with the parameter value Kp = 500, Ki = 500 and Kd = 200 while the input step is 1. The system output response has an overshoot value closes to 0, a rise time of 0.005 seconds. More over, EPS system which unutilized controllers, the output responseis can not reached the reference value. Abstract

Energy models also help in integrated assessment considering availability, potential, economics, emission, technology, social acceptance etc Libya is an oil exporting country located in the middle of North Africa, with 6 million inhabitants distributed over an area of 1,750,000 Km2. The problem of this research is the potential of solar energy that is used can be used to overcome the energy needs in South Libya where people are densely populated but need a lot of electrical energy. The potential energy needs of electricity are big because south of Libya many densely populated people need big electricity.  Also whether the function of Fuzzy logic is to be able to do the right way to map an input space into an output space based on the concept of fuzzy. The objective of this research is to analyse potential of solar energy generation using fuzzy logic in South Libya. The authenticity of this research is using fuzzy logic in South Libya to overcome the problem that is the demand of huge electricity from solar energy generation. This research is quantitative research with simulation or experimental research to make verification with MATLAB simulation (Fuzzy logic approach). In his research will cover in 7 days’ simulation with Matlab, with Fuzzy logic approach, the target is to make simulation panel solar system in South Libya. The determination of potential solar energy power plant in South Libya using fuzzy logic can be seen in the simulation Matlab that proven the Fuzzy Logic approach have achieved the optimal solar energy power plant. The result showed that in Libya the consumption is 10020 MW with 3.504.000 homes and   2860 W, so need 67 solar panels. The low is when the humidity between 40%-60% (0.6 kW), Medium when the humidity 60%-80% (2.86kW) and High when humidity 80%-100% (3.9 kW).

Abstract

Diagnosis gangguan transformator daya sangat penting untuk menjaga kontinuitas penyaluran tenaga listrik, gangguan pada transformator daya mengakibatan gagalnya sistem isolasi minyak yang dapat diketahui dari kandungan gas yang terlarut, analisis gas yang terlarut dikenal dengan dissolved gas analysis (DGA). Gangguan pada transformator terhadap konsentrasi gas yang terlarut terjadi dengan pola yang acak sehingga tidak linier dan sulit dipetakan secara matematis. Solusi diperlukan adalah membangun sebuah pola pendekatan model non- matematis yang dapat memetakan hubungan antara input yang berupa data hasil pengukuran DGA dengan output berupa jenis gangguan yang dihasilkan. Untuk itu diperlukan metode lainya untuk melihat pola prediksi dari setiap atribut- atribut yang terdapat pada data pengukuran minyak transformator. Data mining dan J48 mampu menjadi solusi untuk masalah  ini karena data mining merupakan kegiatan  meliputi pengumpulan, pemakaian data historis untuk menemukan keteraturan, pola atau hubungan dalam set data berukuran besar. Akurasi pola prediksi yang didapat  mampu  mencapai 92.12 % dengan waktu yang sangat singkat 0,01 seconds. Akurasi tersebut dihasilkan dari uji coba dengan mengunakan data pengukuran minyak transformator yang telah dilakukan oleh berbagai macam perusahan mulai dari tahun 1972 sampai dengan 1992 sebagai  data testing.

Abstract

The Reliability and the quality of electric energy is not enough to make a consideration in deciding which power plant is choose in the utility business. Some of the power plant operated in Central Java still using power plant that has expensive generating cost, especially  steam and gas power plant (PLTGU). In order to make economically viable, there must be calculation on generating cost and make some optimization through reconfiguration of power plant using Digsilent simulator. Filled with conductors  capacity, power plant capacity, and the load, Digsilent will calculate the load simulation. When PLTGU block 2 not operated, so IBT 500/150 kV  Ungaran  1  and  2  suffer  overload for 103%, causing voltage drop to 134 kV. After some reconfiguration simulation, the load in IBT 500/150 kV Ungaran 1 and 2 drop to 76%, while the voltage maintain to 140 kV. Decreasing the production cost as much as Rp.107.600.400.000,- in a month. Keywords: PLTGU, Optimization, Digsilent, production cost

Abstract

The earthing system is one of the most important parts of protection equipment in the substation. In the event of more voltage disturbance, with the earth system causing the current disturbance quickly flowed into the ground. the grounding resistance of a good substation inaccordance with the standard is ≤ 1ohm. The values can be affected by some parameters of the earth system such as the number of parallel conductors, the depth of the conductor cultivation, the distancebetween the parallel conductor, the ground area and the ground type resistance.Test results on GITET 500 kV Ungaran get the value of grounding resistance of 0.22 Ω, then for the actual touch voltagevalue of 698.03 V and the actual step voltage of 369.84 V. However, at the time of modification of grounding parameters, the test results obtained for the highest value of grounding resistance of 0.3400 Ω and the lowest value of 0.2212 Ω, then for the highest value at the actual touch voltage of 2582.40 V from the influence of the number of conductors parallel and the depth of the conductor planting and the lowest value of 893.73 V, while at the actual step voltage the highest value of 1093.60 V and thelowest value of 149.65 V, then for the influence of the number of parallel conductors and the distance between the parallel conductors at the actual touch voltage the highest value of 1634.10 V and the lowest value of 888.56 V, while the actual step voltage is the highest value of 1542.23 V and the lowest value of 447.17 V. Abstract

ABSTRACT Control of Electrical Energy at the induction motor starting can be done by adjusting the input Voltage so that the flow generated during the starting of the motor can be arranged magnitude. The purphose of this study was to determine the characteristic Magnetic Energi Recovery Switch(MERS), as the regulator of the input voltage at the time of induction motor starting so that the current can be controlled and can regulated the electrical energy consumed by the motor . The method does is to design the input voltage of the motor control by magnetic energy recovery switch MERS . Aplication MERS as a motor input voltage controller firstly be simulated with PSim Software, The simulated results, as a reference made prototype and tasted its feasibility, criteria feasible and not feasible Mers device can be determined, among others, large capacitance smaller than the capacitance resonance .maximum voltage capacitor is not more than twice the voltage source and has low harmonic impact Results Mers applications as controlling the input voltage at the beginning of starting an induction motor capable of improving lowers the voltage to 108 volts . Abstract

Salah satu metode dalam melakukan penghematan energy adalah dengan memperbaiki kualitas daya listrik. Permasalahan utama dalam kualitas daya listrik adalah permasalahan harmonisa. Harmonisa mempunyai dampak buruk pada sistem tenaga listrik, antara lain terjadinya pemanasan pada trafo, malfungsi peralatan listrik, kesalahan pembacaan pada alat ukur dan kerugian secara finansial. Pengendalian harmonisa pada sistem tenaga dapat dilakukan dengan pemasangan filter harmonisa. Terdapat beberapa jenis filter harmonisa, antara lain filter pasif dan filter aktif. Filter aktif mempunyai kemampuan yang lebih baik dari pada filter pasif karena dapat memperbaiki arus harmonisa sesuai dengan keadaan beban. Pemodelan filter aktif shunt dengan bantuan Matlab/Simulink dan Power System Blocket bertujuan untuk menganalisa berapa besar distorsi harmonisa yang dapat diperbaiki dan besarnya energy listrik yang dapat dihemat. Data simulasi menggunakan data harmonisa pada sistem tenaga listrik Rumah Sakit Panti Wilasa “Citarum” Semarang. Hasil simulasi pemodelan filter aktif shunt menunjukkan bahwa THD Harmonisa arus pada sistem dapat diturunkan sebesar rata-rata 6%. Sedangkan perkiraan energy listrik yang dapat dihemat sebesar 13.692,12 kWH selama satu tahun.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Rumah Sakit Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang memiliki tingkat pemakaian energi listrik yang membutuhkan kwalitas daya listrik yang baik. Tingginya penggunan beban non linier yang diopeasikan dapat menimbulkan harmonisa yang merupakan permasalahan utama dalam kwalitas daya listrk. Harmonisa memiliki dampak buruk dalam sistem tenaga listrik yang menimbulkan kerugian dalam sistem pelayanan konsumen yang salah satunya diakibatkan terjadinya kesalahan pembacaan dan kerusakaan alat ukur yang digunakan. Untuk Mengatasi masalah ini diguakan filter aktif shunt untuk mereduksi nilai dari harmonisa tersebut. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada metode reduksi harmonisa dengan menggunakan filter aktif shunt. Prinsip kerja dari filter aktif shunt untuk mengkompensasi harmonisa dengan cara menyuntikan arus harmonisa yang fasanya berbeda 1800. Simulasi filter aktif shunt menggunakan software matlab R2013 yang dibuat berdasrkan teori daya aktif-reaktif sesaat (p-q theory) sebagai penghasil arus refrensi untuk kompensasi harmonisa yang sesuai dengan kondisi beban. Arus refrensi tersebut digunakan sebagai sinyal refrensi pembangkit PWM untuk memicu Inverter yang kemudian membangkitakan arus filter yang diijeksikan pada sistem yang dibuat berdasarkan data yang diambil dari sistem kelistrikan MDP Gedung Lama Rumah Sakit Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang. Hasil menunjukan bahwa penurunan nilai THD arus 1,4 % pada fasa R, 1,51% untuk fasa S, dan fasa T mencapai 1,37%. . Kata Kunci : Harmonisa, THD, IHD, Filter aktif shunt

Abstract

Operasi motor induksi tiga fasa membutuhkan tegangan input tiga fasa yang seimbang dan standar agar dicapai operasi yang optimal. Tegangan input tiga fasa yang tidak seimbang dapat mempengaruhi unjuk kerja  motor induksi tiga fasa yang berdampak pada torsi elektromagnetik, daya mekanik,effisiensi dan temperatur. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pemodelan unjuk kerja motor induksi tiga fasa pada kondisi under voltage tidak seimbang dengan menggunakan MATLAB/SIMULINK. Motor induksi tiga fasa yang digunakan mempunyai spesifikasi 50 HP, 400 V, 50 Hz, 1480 Rpm dengan input fungsi step. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tegangan input tiga fasa tidak seimbang berpengaruh terhadap unjuk kerja motor induksi tiga fasa, hal ini diperlihatkan  dengan terjadinya penurunan nilai  torsi elektromagnetik, daya mekanik, effisiensi dan meningkatnya nilai faktor perkalian temperatur.
