Abstract

A Growth in energy demand Electricity in a city will show significant economic growth. Likewise, in the Libyan city of Sirte, economic growth per year is around 6% and with a population growth rate of around 2% per year, the city is struggling to get ahead. Thus, waste generated due to economic activities of the population also increased. While all the garbage is thrown away and not utilized. Separation of types of waste contributes to the economic potential for local governments to manage organized waste. In general, 37% of waste is disposed of in landfills, 8% of which are disposed of in organic form and put into sanitary machines that produce gas. While disposal to open areas around the world includes about 31% of waste with 19% recycled through composting and 11% burned at final disposal. The last recycled process, potentially has increased of CO emission in wasted power plant. To mitigate these situations, depth analysis of the procedure collection of the wasted power plant materials is proposed. In order to reduce carbon pollutant, life cycle analysis has been usage to measure the potential reduction of CO emission in Sirte City of Libya. The performance resuls shows that by using separation materials and life cycle analysis deployment has given significant contributions that able reducing CO emission of has reduced CO Emission. By supply of 1400 tons per day, it can be seen that the electricity production generated is 3.64 MJ which is 2.6% of the production generated from the total waste burned. With the resulting heat of 9.19 MJ, it is a total heat production of 3.7%. Of the emissions produced by the material, PVC contributed the largest contribution to pollution released from the incinerator by 57.7% compared to corrugated box / board which was only 15.2% and / or injection molding by 15.2%. By amounts of 1400 tons wasted assumption, the CO2 that can be generate based on LCA analysis is 2076.87 Kg, moreover, climate change index is equivalent to 3817.58 of CO2 (Kg). Ozon depletion has shown very wonderful grade as show -164.84, meaning that the release of CFCs into the air is significantly reduced. Low carbon index has been shown based on this results, LCA could perform best good treatment for wasted classification arranged with the LCA stage.

Abstract

Pembangkitan energi harus dapat direncanakan dan disesuaikan. Rencana produksi ditentukan berdasarkan prediksi kebutuhan energi masa depan dan ketersediaan energi baru dan terbarukan. Sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya dan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Angin adalah Pembangkit Energi Baru Terbarukan dengan sistem tenaga mandiri, yang memiliki kondisi sumber daya terbaik, dan memiliki prospek aplikasi yang baik. Sehingga perlu adanya penelitian yang mendalam tentang peramalan potensi energi tersebut. Pendekatan penelitian adalah melakukan peramalan potensi energi pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) dan pembangkit listrik tenaga angin (PLTB) dengan menggunakan model Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan (JST) Multi Layer Perceptrons (MLP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peramalan potensi energi PLTS dan PLTB Jawa Tengah tahun 2025, PLTS 0,0093% konsumsi energi di Jawa Tengah dan PLTB 0,407% konsumsi energi di Jawa Tengah.

Abstract

In general, blood glucose level test is conducted using urine and glucometer test by pricking the fingertips of the patients using needle. TGS 822 and MQ 138 gas sensor systems can be used to detect Acetone and Alcohol compounds from the oral cavities of a person which are correlated with blood glucose levels in the body. This study used MQ 138 and TGS 822 gas sensors to detect acetone levels, which were classified using backpropagation artificial neural network. The training with 60 samples and testing on 7 respondents indicates that TGS 822 and MQ 138 gas sensor could detect the blood glucose level with average detection accuracy of 96,53% by considering the temperature and humidity.  The average deviation is 3,47 % compared to glucometer. Keywords: Gas sensor, respiratory gas, blood glucose level, Backpropagation Tes kadar gula darah pada umumnya dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes urin dan glukometer dengan menusuk ujung jari pasien menggunakan jarum. Sistem sensor gas TGS 822 dan MQ 138 dapat digunakan untuk mendeteksi senyawa Aseton dan Alkohol dari rongga mulut seseorang yang berkorelasi dengan kadar gula darah dalam tubuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan sensor gas MQ 138 dan TGS 822 untuk mendeteksi kadar aseton, yang diklasifikasikan menggunakan jaringan syaraf tiruan backpropagation. Pelatihan dengan menggunakan 60 sampel dan pengujian pada 7 responden menunjukkan bahwa sensor gas TGS 822 dan MQ 138 mampu mendeteksi kadar gula darah dengan akurasi deteksi rata-rata 96,53% dengan memperhatikan suhu dan kelembaban. Deviasi rata-rata 3,47 % dibandingkan dengan glukometer.Kata kunci: Sensor gas, gas pernafasan, kadar glukosa darah, Backpropagation.

Abstract

According to the Head of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri) General Idham Azis, the number of deaths from accidents that occurred in 2019 reached 23,530. A total of 40% of the deaths from traffic accidents are caused by human error and the influence of alcohol. The high number of deaths from traffic accidents due to the influence of alcohol is a concern for all of us. Excessive alcohol consumption is dangerous when driving because consuming alcohol will affect a person's temperament and worsen driving behavior by reducing awareness, leading to accidents. A system that is able to detect the alcohol level of a vehicle driver that can be monitored anywhere is needed, as information to alert motorists to the influence of alcohol in order to prevent traffic accidents online and on a web-based basis. Using the MQ-3 sensor for alcohol detection and the ESP8266 processor in WeMos WiFi.  The average percentage error in the measurement of the measured sample was found to have an error value of: 3.6%. Research has also succeeded in reading alcohol levels through websites.

Abstract

Bertambah tingginya tingkat konsumsi masyarakat terhadap energi listrik akan menyebabkan adanya penambahan distribusi energi listrik, terutama yang berlokasi pada feeder PWI 03 Purwodadi. Umumnya mayoritas beban bersifat induktif, menyebabkan kebutuhan daya reaktif induktif meningkat yang menyebabkan meluasnya jaringan beban pada jaringan listrik tersebut. Penelitian ini membahas tentang evaluasi perbaikan jatuh tegangan dengan upgrading konduktor pada feeder PWI 03 GI 150/20 KV Purwodadi, data panjang penyulang PWI-03, data penghantar AAAC. Data–data yang telah di dapatkan nantinya akan dihitung untuk mengetahui drop tegangan pada feeder PWI 03 PLN ULP Purwodadi dengan aplikasi ETAP 12.6.  Hasil analisis drop voltage sistem jaringan distribusi dengan menggunakan perhitungan manual didapatkan hasil jatuh tegangan terbesar yaitu sebesar 1.40 % pada feeder 52.PWI.F03.Z02.S01.SE01 masih dibawah standar IEC 60364-5-52 sebesar 5%. hasil simulasi analisis jatuh tegangan menggunakan ETAP 12.6 nilai Drop Voltage terbesar terjadi pada penyulang 52.PWI.F03.Z01.S01 mencapai 0,85 % dan  didapatkan PWI.F03.Z02.S01.SE01 mengalami kondisi overload mencapai 106,2%. Hasil perbaikan jatuh tegangan pada perhitungan manual 52.PWI.F03.Z02.S01.SE01 menjadi 0.82% sehingga dengan memperbesar ukuran penghantar dapat memperbaiki nilai jatuh tegangan pada feeder karena semakin besar nilai penghantar maka nilai impedansi penghantar lebih rendah. Hasil simulasi perbaikan menggunakan ETAP 12.6 pada feeder 52.PWI.F03.Z02.S01.SE01 menjadi 0.30% dan pebaikan ini mampu memperbaiki kondisi overload pada PWI.F03.Z02.S01.SE01 dan undervoltage pada setiap bus.

Abstract

Suplai listrik yang terus meningkat menyebabkan panas dari kumparan transformator sehingga menghasilkan rugi inti dan rugi tembaga. Rugi-rugi daya yang dihasilkan transformator menimbulkan perbedaan daya masukan dan keluaran. Pembebanan yang berlebih berakibat menurunnya efisiensi transormator. Perlunya pembagian pembebanan yang merata dan pemeliharaan transformator agar transformator bekerja maksimal dan memenuhi standar. Selanjutnya dilakukan perhitungan efisiensi pada transformator Gardu Induk 150/20 kV Sanggrahan. Model ditetapkan sebagai sebuah single line diagram. Parameter yang ditentukan meliputi : data tegangan, beban, dan arus transformator. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan efisiensi pada transformator daya 1 sisi 150 kV dengan beban puncak tertinggi 32,8 MW nilai efisiensi sebesar 99,687 %, beban puncak terendah 21,1 MW nilai efisiensi 99,679 %. Efisiensi pada transformator daya 1 sisi 20 KV  beban puncak tertinggi 33,4 MW nilai efisiensi 99,635 %, beban puncak terendah 20,17 MW nilai efisiensi 99,661 %.Kata kunci: Beban puncak, efisiensi, transformator

Abstract

PPSDM Migas Cepu memiliki Kapasitas Total 3670 kVA. Sistem distribusi listrik juga merupakan salah satu yang paling sering terjadi masalah. Salah satunya di PPSDM Migas Cepu, dalam sistem penyaluran daya baik transmisi maupun distribusi, Hal ini terjadi disebabkan adanya beban tak seimbang dan panjangnya saluran distribusi, yang mengakibatkan adanya rugi-rugi daya pada sistem tegangan menengah di PPSDM Migas Cepu, Solusi untuk permasalah tersebut yaitu Sering melakukan tindakan pemeliharan jaringan baik itu secara berkala ataupun accident, agar jaringan tetap handal. Serta perlu adanya evaluasi berkala untuk memastikan semua peralatan masih bekerja dengan baik dan sesuai dengan standarnya. Penelitian ini membahas tentang Analisa Rugi-Rugi Daya Sistem Tegangan menengah 6,1 KV pada PLTD 3670 KVA PPSDM Migas Cepu. Model ditetapkan sebagai single line diagram PPSDM Migas Cepu. Parameter yang ditetapkan pada penelitian ini antara lain : data pembebanan harian, data spesifikasi saluran, dan data jarak antar gardu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rugi-Rugi Daya PPSDM Migas Cepu diperoleh yaitu Fasa R sebesar 48,4287 KW (1,2754 %) Fasa S 21,156 KW (0,7971 %), dan Fasa T 49,4056 KW (1,2805 %). Berdasarkan Standart PLN No. 72 Tahun 1987, jumlah rugi daya yang diizinkan yakni tidak melebihi 10 %. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem di PPSDM Migas Cepu masih aman. Kata Kunci: rugi daya, distribusi, tegangan menengah.

Abstract

Kelurahan Gebangsari termasuk dalam salah satu kawasan pesisir di Kecamatan Genuk Kota Semarang. Daerah hilir kota Semarang rawan banjir terutama saat memasuki musim penghujan karena terdapat 2 pertemuan air yang bersumber dari sungai Tanggang dan Sringin. Jika air hujan dari atas kota Semarang yang diapit oleh sungai diantara keduanya akan melewati kawasan kelurahani Gebangsari. Hal ini dapat berdampak lebih besar jika dibarengi dengan musim pasang surut dengan intensitas tinggi dan cukup lama. Selain ancaman banjir, Kelurahan Gebangsari juga memiliki potensi ancaman pasang surut air laut karena letaknya yang dekat dengan pantai. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdian masyarakat UNISSULA melakukan sosialisasi pendidikan sadar bencana dengan sosialisasi mitigasi bencana banjir menggunakan papan informasi elektronik di kecamatan Gebangsari. Masih banyak masyarakat di Kelurahan Gebangsari yang belum pernah mendapatkan informasi atau sosialisasi terkait Standart Operasional Prosedur mitigasi bencana. Progam Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan masyarakat pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang resiko, efek dan tahapan yang harus dilakukan sebelum, ketika terjadi bencana dan setelah terjadi bencana. Gebangsari Village is included in one of the coastal areas in Genuk District, Semarang City. The downstream area of Semarang city is prone to flooding, especially when entering the rainy season because there are 2 confluences of water originating from the Tanggang and Sringin rivers. If it rains from above the city of Semarang which is flanked by rivers between the two, it will pass through the Gebangsari village area. This can have a greater impact if it is accompanied by a high intensity and long enough tidal season. In addition to the threat of flooding, Gebangsari Village also has the potential threat of sea tides because of its proximity to the beach. Therefore, the UNISSULA community service team conducted a socialization of disaster awareness education with flood disaster mitigation socialization using electronic information boards in Gebangsari sub-district. There are still many people in Gebangsari Village who have never received information or socialization regarding Standard Operational Procedures for disaster mitigation. This Community Service Program aims to provide the community with knowledge and understanding of risks, effects and steps that must be taken before, when a disaster occurs and after a disaster occurs.

Abstract

Automatic voltage regulator (AVR) is one of key elements in an excitation system which controls the synchronous generator terminal voltage in an electrical power generation plant. PID control algorithm in an AVR has been designed to obtain good response towards voltage reference without considering the effect of torque disturbance. This paper proposes a PID with modified topology for a digital AVR in order to regulate the generator terminal voltage in more speedy and more accurate, while maintaining robustness against torque disturbance. Performance of the digital AVR has been compared with conventional PID controller through experiments using a hardware in the loop (HIL) system. The experiment results show that the proposed PID with modified topology provides better performance than the conventional PID controller. Under torque disturbance, the proposed algorithm provides 83% smaller steady state error and 4.8 second shorter settling time compared to the conventional PID controller. When the reference voltage changes, compared to the conventional PID controller, the proposed algorithm provides 15% smaller steady state error, 79% smaller overshoot, and 0.2 second shorter settling time.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of electrical load forecasting using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) to improve power supply reliability and efficiency in Ambon’s electric system. The objective is to develop a reliable forecasting model that supports effective energy management, helping to achieve operational excellence in terms of quality, safety, and cost-efficiency. A quantitative approach was utilized, gathering historical electricity load data from 2019 to 2024, alongside relevant environmental and temporal factors. The data were analyzed using ANN within a Python-based framework to predict future electricity demands accurately. The study employs a structured equation modeling to validate the forecasting model and its components. The findings reveal that the ANN model effectively predicts electrical loads with high accuracy, demonstrating substantial improvements in operational efficiency and energy cost reductions. The model’s ability to incorporate multiple input variables allows for nuanced understanding and prediction of load variations, thereby facilitating better resource allocation and strategic planning. This research contributes uniquely by applying ANN for electrical load forecasting in the context of Ambon’s electrical system, underscoring the integration of AI techniques in improving the operational efficiency of power utilities. The study extends the knowledge on the application of machine learning in the power sector by demonstrating how sophisticated forecasting models can significantly enhance energy management strategies
