Abstract

the objective of this study is to improve the students’ learning activities by remedial teaching that used skill for asking question and giving reinforcement. This is a class action research with 55 students of Economics Education year 2006/2007, Semarang State University as the subject of research. The result of observation cycle I showed that there were several points that blocked learning design. Those are in ineffectual time allotment, crowded class situation and completing assignment dominated by only certain students. Learning activities have improved well and the number of active students who were brave to give opinion has also increased. At the end of cycle I showed that the number of  active students who could give opinion were 12 students (21.82%), students who submitted the assignment on time were 25 students (45.45%), the average of study result was 65.51 and the number of students who got score 71- 80 above were 30 students (54.54%). After remedial teaching, at the end of cycle II, the numbers of active students who asked and answered question and also gave opinion were 35 students (63.64%), students who submitted the assignment on time were 43 students (78.18%), the average score was 77.31 and the number of students who got score 71-80 above were 45 students (81.83%). Based on the result above, it can be concluded that the criteria of action success were (1) at least 60 % students were active to ask and answer questions or give opinions and (2) at least 70% students were on time to submit the assignment and (3) more than 60% students who got  score 71-80 above was reached. Abstract

 ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebijakan APBD pemkab Sukoharjo terhadap alokasi dana pendidikan, serta alokasi mata anggaran biaya pendidikan di SMA N 1 Tawangsari. Selain itu untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebijakan APBD Pemkab Sukoharjo terhadap ketaatan penggunaan mata anggaran di SMA N 1 Tawangsari tahun 2011.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data berasal dari SMA N 1 Tawangsari. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, metode observasi, dan dokumentasi atau arsip. Uji validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Analisis data menggunakan analisis tema, yang berusaha menemukan hubungan-hubungan yang terdapat pada domain-domain yang dianalisis.Hasil penelitian ini adalah kebijakan APBD pemkab Sukoharjo menggunakan sistem pendidikan gratis dengan alokasi dana yang dianggarkan sebesar Rp.582.427.966.000,00 yang dibagi dalam 9 program kerja. Sedangkan untuk alokasi dana di SMA N 1 Tawangsari, pada tahun 2011 dianggarkan sebesar Rp.802.472.000,00 yang dibagi dalam 18 pos anggaran. Dalam hal pengaruh kebijakan APBD pemkab Sukoharjo terhadap ketaatan mata anggaran di SMA N 1 Tawangsari menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan alokasi anggaran Pemkab Sukoharjo menyebabkan realisasi anggaran yang tidak maksimal, alokasi dana di SMA N 1 Tawangsari juga belum dapat terealisasi secara keseluruhan disebabkan adanya kendala-kendala yang belum dapat diselesaikan.Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan anggaran yang telah dibuat oleh Pemkab Sukoharjo belum dapat dilaksanakan sepenuhnya oleh SMA N 1 Tawangsari disebabkan adanya beberapa kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh pengelola dana yaitu penerimaan dana yang tidak terjadwal dengan baik serta adanya dana yang diperoleh oleh pihak sekolah sulit untuk diSPJkan karena pengeluaran yang dibutuhkan di lapangan berbeda dengan rencana anggaran yang telah ditetapkan oleh Pemkab.Kata kunci: kebijakan APBD, mata anggaran, biaya pendidikan ABSTRACTThe objective of research was to find out the APBD (Local Income and Expense Budget) policy in Sukoharjo Regency Government on tuition allocation, and the tuition budget item allocation in SMA N 1 Tawangsari. This research also aimed to find out the effect of APBD policy in Sukoharjo Regency Government on the compliance with tuition budget item in SMA N 1 Tawangsari in 2011.This study was a qualitative research. The data source derived from SMA N 1 Tawangsari. The methods of collecting data used were interview, observation, and documentation or archive. The data validation was carried out using source triangulation. The data analysis was conducted using theme analysis, attempting to find the relationship existing in the domains analyzed.The result of research showed that the APBD policy of Sukoharjo Regency employed free education system with fund allocation budgeted of IDR 582,427,966,000.00 divided into 9 work programs. Meanwhile the fund allocation budgeted in SMA N 1 Tawangsari in 2011 was IDR 802,472,000.00 divided into 18 budget posts. Regarding the effect of APBD policy in Sukoharjo Regency Government on the compliance with tuition budget item in SMA N 1 Tawangsari, it could be seen that the Sukoharjo Regency’s policy of budget allocation resulted in non-maximal budget realization, and the fund allocation in SMA N 1 Tawangsari had not been realized because there were some unresolved obstructions.The conclusion of research showed that the budget policy developed by Sukoharjo Regency had not been implemented to SMA N 1 Tawangsari because of some unresolved difficulties the fund manager faced in the term of non well-scheduled fund receiving and of school management’s responsibility for the fund  because the expenses needed in the field were different from the planned budget specified by Regency Government. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilaksanakan karena kreativitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi pada peserta didik SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali relatif rendah. Salah satu penyebabnya karena model pembelajaran konvensional yang digunakan dan juga pergantian kurikulum. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi melalui penggunaan model joyful learning pada peserta didik kelas XI IPS 3 di SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali tahun ajaran 2014/2015.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali yang berjumlah 29 peserta didik. Obyek penelitian ini adalah berbagai kegiatan yang terjadi di dalam kelas XI IPS 3 selama berlangsungnya proses pembelajaran. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini antara lain informan, tempat atau lokasi, peristiwa, dan dokumen atau arsip, serta dokumentasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, tes, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Teknik untuk menguji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data atau sumber. Uji validitas data dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode, sedangkan uji validitas tes dengan validitas isi. Analisis data kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis kritis sedangkan analisis data kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif komparatif.Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model joyful learning dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar akuntansi pada peserta didik kelas XI IPS 3 di SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Peningkatan kreativitas dapat dilihat dari ketercapaian indikator kinerja yaitu 75% (rasa ingin tahu yang mendalam 86,20%, daya imajinasi 82,75%, orisinil dalam mengungkapkan gagasan 82,75%, melihat masalah dari berbagai sudut pandang 79,31%, dan sikap berani mengambil risiko 75,86%). Peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik dapat dilihat dari ketercapaian indikator kinerja yang ditetapkan sebesar 75% yaitu sebesar 86,2%.Kata kunci : Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Proses Pembelajaran, Hasil Belajar Kognitif. ABSTRACT This research was held because of the creativity and learning achievement of accounting in the students of SMA Negeri 1 of Ngemplak Boyolali was relatively low. One cause of the problem because of the conventional learning models that used and the changing of the curriculum. Therefore the objective of research was to improve creativity and learning achievement of accounting using joyful learning model in the 11th Social Science 3 graders of SMA Negeri 1 of Ngemplak Boyolali in the school year of 2014/2015.This study was a classroom action research (CAR). The subject of research was the 11th Social Science 3 graders of SMA Negeri 1 of Ngemplak Boyolali, consisting of 29 students. The object of research was a variety of activities occurring in the 11th Social Science 3 grade during the learning process. The data sources used in this classroom action research were informant, place or location, event, document or archive, and documentation. The data collection was conducted using observation, test, interview, documentation, and field note. The data validation was carried out using data or source triangulations. Meanwhile the validity test was carried out using content validity. The qualitative data analysis was conducted using critical analytical technique, while quantitative data analysis was carried out using statistic descriptive comparative technique.Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that the application of joyful learning model could improve creativity and learning achievement of accounting in the 11th Social Science 3 graders of SMA Negeri 1 of Ngemplak Boyolali in the school year of 2014/2015. The creativity improvement could be seen from the achievement of performance indicator of 75% (in-depth curiosity of 86.20%, imagining ability of 82.75%, expressing opinion originally of 82.75%, viewing problem from any perspectives of 79.31%, and taking risk bravely of 75.86%). The improvement of students’ cognitive learning achievement could be seen from the achievement of performance indicator specified (75%) of 86.2%.Key words: Classroom Action Research, Learning Process, Cognitive Learning Achievement.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi, menganalisis praktik pengelolaan lingkungan pada sentra industri kecil dibandingkan best practices dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja lingkungan di Kabupaten Pati. Kajian difokuskan pada pengelolaan lingkungan secara efektif dengan melibatkan variabel inisiatif lingkungan, keterlibatan karyawan, dan integrasi dengan supplier. Populasinya adalah seluruh perusahaan Industri Kecil di Kabupaten Pati. Sampel berjumlah 97 perusahaan. Teknik sampling menggunakan kluster sampling, dengan sampel pada sentra industri kecil di Kabupaten Pati.  Analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan praktik pengelolaan lingkungan pada sentra industri kecil di Kabupaten Pati belum dilaksanakan secara optimal. Sementara itu, variabel integrasi supplier berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja perusahaan.The purpose of this study is to identify and to analyze an environmental management practice which is compared to the best practices in order to improve environmental performance in the industrial centers in Pati District. This study focuses on managing the environment effectively by involving environmental initiative variables, employee involvement, and integration of suppliers. Population in this study was all small industrial enterprises in Pati regency which has 97 companies as data samples. Data were collected by using cluster sampling techniques, and samples were taken from small industrial centers in the District of Pati. Data were analyzed by using descriptive and comparative methods. Results of this study showed that environmental management practices in small industrial centers had not been implemented optimally. Meanwhile, supplier integration variables influenced directly toward corporate performance.

Abstract

Statistical process control (SPC) is a method of monitoring the production process with the goal of maintaining product quality during the production process. Thus, once the problems (variables)have resulted, the repair process can be immediately identified and carried out.However, in some cases, the application of SPC is not maximized. This was caused by the lack of a systematic procedure that was usedto guide the operator in applying statistical process control. Therefore, this study offers a systematic procedure to guide the operator in applying SPC. Systematic procedure is performed with the literature study and direct observation in manufacturing companies. In order to apply statistical process control, several statistical tools are accommodated according to their needs and objectives. Thus,it results systematic application of SPC procedure which consists of 15 steps and is divided into two concepts.Indicator is applied to determine the systematic procedure to qualify whether the test is applicable and can improve the ability of the process. Definition of applicable is able to guide the operator in applying SPC and stabilize the process. Systematic procedure have undergone testing at the casting factory. Systematic procedures otherwise applicable and may improve the ability of the improved process.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesiapan mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan Program Pengalaman Lapangan ditinjau dari kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa BKK Akuntansi.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah 6 responden mahasiswa BKK Akuntansi 2010 yang berasal dari kelompok micro teaching A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, dan B3. Sumber data berasal dari responden, dosen pengampu perkuliahan micro teaching, guru pamong SMA/SMK, Unit PPL, mahasiswa Prodi Kimia, dan mahasiswa Prodi Fisika. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan wawancara, observasi, analisis arsip dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari tahap pra lapangan, tahap lapangan, tahap analisis data, dan tahap penyusunan laporan penelitian.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan mahasiswa BKK Akuntansi dalam melaksanakan Program Pengalaman Lapangan masih rendah. 1 mahasiswa dinyatakan Tidak Siap, 2 mahasiswa dinyatakan Kurang Siap, dan 3 mahasiswa dinyatakan Siap. Indikator utama pengukuran kesiapan adalah pelaksanaan perkuliahan micro teaching. Perkuliahan ini berperan dalam pembentukan kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa dalam mengajar sekaligus pembentukan mental kesiapan mahasiswa.Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan 50% mahasiswa BKK Akuntansi belum siap melaksanakan Program Pengalaman Lapangan dengan perincian 17% tidak siap dan 33% kurang siap. Sementara itu 50% mahasiswa BKK Akuntansi dapat dinyatakan siap melaksanakan Program Pengalaman Lapangan.Kata kunci: kompetensi pedagogik, micro teaching, kesiapan mahasiswa                                                                                                        ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to investigate readiness of students in implementing Field Experience Program viewed from pedagogical competency of students of the Special Expertise Field of Accounting.This research used the descriptive qualitative research method with the case study approach. The subjects of the research were 6 students of the Special Expertise Field of Accounting of Class 2010 coming from the micro-teaching groups of A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, and B3. The data of the research were obtained from respondents, lecturers of Micro-teaching course, Senior Secondary School/Vocational High School guide teachers, Field Experience Program Unit, the students of the Study Program of Chemistry, and the students of the Study Program of Physics. They were gathered through in-depth interview, observation, and archive and documentation analysis (content analysis) and were validated by means of the source triangulation and the method triangulation. The data were analyzed by using the descriptive technique of analysis. The research procedure included pre-field phase, field phase, data analysis phase, and research report arrangement phase.The result of the research shows that readiness of students of the Special Expertise Field of Accounting in implementing Field Experience Program is still low: one student is ready; two students are less ready; and three students are ready. The main indicator of readiness measurement is the implementation of micro-teaching. This lecture plays role to shape their pedagogical competency in teaching and mentality readiness.Thus, a conclusion is drawn that 50% of students of the Special Expertise Field of Accounting have not been ready yet in implementing Field Experience Program: one student (17%) is not ready, and two students (33%) are less ready. Meanwhile, the rest 50% are ready in implementing Field Experience Program.Keywords: Pedagogical competency, micro-teaching, and readiness of students

Abstract

ABSTRAK            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi 1) Upaya peningkatan kesiapan kerja peserta didik lulusan SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar; 2) Kendala yang menghambat upaya peningkatan kesiapan kerja peserta didik lulusan SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar; 3) Upaya untuk mengatasi kendala dalam peningkatan kesiapan kerja peserta didik lulusan SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar.            Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data berasal dari informan, tempat penelitian dan dokumen yang berkaitan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu wawancara, studi dokumentasi, observasi dan angket. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu purposive sampling dengan dipadukan snowball sampling sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Validitas data dalam penelitian ini diuji menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis data yang terdiri atas reduksi data, sajian data dan menarik kesimpulan.            Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Upaya yang dilakukan sekolah dalam peningkatan kesiapan kerja peserta didik lulusan SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar yaitu melalui kegiatan belajar mengajar, praktek kerja industri, piket di sekolah, kunjungan industri serta pemberian motivasi dan bimbingan karir. 2) Kendala yang dihadapi sekolah dalam upaya peningkatan kesiapan kerja peserta didik lulusan SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar yaitu kendala dari sekolah yang terdiri atas kendala pembiayaan, pengaturan waktu, kurikulum dan sistem evaluasi, rendahnya motivasi peserta didik serta kendala dari mitra dunia usaha/industri. 3) Upaya yang dilakukan sekolah dalam mengatasi kendala tersebut yaitu memanfaatkan unit produksi di sekolah, menggunakan waktu secara efektif dan efisien, memanfaatkan diskusi antar guru dan forum MGMP, pemberian motivasi melalui berbagai kegiatan serta mencari mitra dunia usaha/industri yang sesuai dengan tujuan program.Kata kunci: kesiapan kerja, lulusan,  sekolah menengah kejuruan   ABSTRACT            This research is aimed to identify: 1) what the school does to improve his students work-readiness; 2) what constraints that pursue what the school efforts to improving students work-readiness; 3) what the school does to solve the constrains of students work-readiness improvement efforts.            This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive method and case study technique. The source data consists of informants, places, documents and  archives. The researcher used interviews, observation, documents analysis and questionnaire to collect data. Sampling technique has used were purposive and snowball sampling. Triangulation of sources and methods have used to ensure the data validities. The  data have analysed using data analysis technique which consist of data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing.            The results of this study show that: 1) Teaching and learning process in school, on the job training, production unit activities optimalizing, industry visit, motivation and carrier development are used to improve students work-readiness in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar, 2) There are some constraints from school, students and other sides which related to student work-readiness improvement efforts in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar. SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar has some problems with his fund, time sceduling, curricullum and program evaluations. The students of SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar also have problem with their motivation. Beside of that, there are some problem from others likes some companies which have partnered with school in on the job training program. 3) SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar have solved some of the problems with production unit optimalizing, time manajemen program, teacher discussing forum usage, motivation development improving and finding good companies for on the job training program.Keywords: work-readiness, students, vocasional high school

Abstract

ABSTRAK             Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Meningkatkan keaktifan belajar pada siswa kelas X AK 2 SMK N 3 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2013/ 2014; dan (2) Meningkatkan hasil belajar akuntasi siswa kelas X AK 2 SMK N 3 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2013/ 2014 dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran ARIAS terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran aktif learning tournament.            Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek siswa kelas X AK 2 SMK N 3 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2013/ 2014 yang terdiri dari 31 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian berasal dari guru, siswa, aktivitas pembelajaran, dan hasil tes siswa. Validitas instrumen yang digunakan adalah validitas isi sedangkan validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi metode dan penyidik. Analisis data manggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dan analisis data kualitatif.            Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran ARIAS terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran aktif learning tournament dapat meningkatkan: (1) Keaktifan belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan presentase keaktifan belajar siswa yang mengalami kenaikan dari pra tindakan sampai siklus ke II, pada siklus I keaktifan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 14%, yaitu dari 50% menjadi 64%, pada siklus II keaktifan juga mengalami kenaikan sebesar 19%, yaitu dari 64% menjadi 83%; (2) Hasil belajar siswa untuk setiap kompetensi juga mengalami peningkatan dari pratindakan sampai siklus II, untuk kompetensi sikap mengalami kenaikan dari 84% menjadi 90% pada siklus I dan naik lagi menjadi 97% pada siklus II; untuk kompetensi pengetahuan mengalami kenaikan dari 84% menjadi 94% pada siklus I dan menjadi 100% pada siklus II; kompetensi keterampilan juga mengalami kenaikan setiap siklusnya, yaitu dari 42% naik menjadi 61% pada siklus I dan menjadi 94% pada siklus II. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran ARIAS terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran aktif learning tournament dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas X AK 2 SMK N 3 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Kata Kunci: Keaktifan Belajar, Hasil Belajar, ARIAS, Learning Tournament ABSTRACT            The objectives of this research are to improve: (1) the learning activeness of the students in Grade X of Accounting 2 of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2013/2014; and (2) the learning result in Accounting of the students in Grade X of Accounting 2 of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2013/2014 with the Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, and Satisfaction (ARIAS) learning strategy integrated with the active learning of learning tournament.             This research used the classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research were the students as many 31 in Grade X of Accounting 2 of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2013/2014. The data of the research were gathered through in-depth interview, observation, test, and documentation. The data sources of the research were teacher, students, learning activities and other documents required. The instrument were validited by using content validity and data were validated by using the method triangulation technique and investigator. They were then analyzed by using the quantitative and qualitative data analyses.            The results of the research are as follows: 1) The learning activeness of students during the learning process improves as indicated by the increasing percentage of the students with the required learning activeness prior to and following the treatment. Prior to the treatment the number of the students with the required learning activeness is 50%. Following the treatment, it becomes 64% in Cycle I and 83% in Cycle II respectively. 2) The learning result of the students for each competency as also improves. Prior to the treatment, the attitude competency of the students is 80%. Following the treatment it becomes 90% in Cycle I and 97% in Cycle II. In addition, prior to the treatment, the skill competency of the students is 42%. Following the treatment, it becomes 61% in Cycle I and 94% in Cycle II respectively. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the ARIAS learning strategy integrated with the active learning of learning tournament can improve the learning activeness and the learning achievement in Accounting of the students in Grade X of Accounting 2 of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2013/2014.Keywords:      Learning activeness, learning result, ARIAS, and learning tournament.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of internal locus of control and organizational commitment in moderating the relationship of professional commitment and anticipatory socialization on the intention of whistleblowing. The population were all Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) at the Inspectorates of Central Java as many as 55 employees. The sampling technique used saturation sampling and obtained 49 respondents. The analytical method used is Structural Equation Modeling- Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the SmartPLS 3.0 analysis tool. The results show that professional commitment and anticipatory socialization partially have positive effect on the intention of whistleblowing. Internal locus of control was not able to moderate the effect of professional commitment and anticipatory socialization on the intention of whistleblowing. Organizational commitment was able to strengthen the effect of professional commitment on the intention of whistleblowing. Organizational commitment was not able to moderate the effect of anticipatory socialization on the intention of whistleblowing. The conclusions are professional commitment and anticipatory socialization affect on the intention of whistleblowing and organizational commitment can strengthen the relationship of professional commitment on the intention of whistleblowing.

Abstract

Statistical process control (SPC) is a method of monitoring the production process with the goal of maintaining product quality during the production process. Thus, once the problems (variables)have resulted, the repair process can be immediately identified and carried out.However, in some cases, the application of SPC is not maximized. This was caused by the lack of a systematic procedure that was usedto guide the operator in applying statistical process control. Therefore, this study offers a systematic procedure to guide the operator in applying SPC. Systematic procedure is performed with the literature study and direct observation in manufacturing companies. In order to apply statistical process control, several statistical tools are accommodated according to their needs and objectives. Thus,it results systematic application of SPC procedure which consists of 15 steps and is divided into two concepts.Indicator is applied to determine the systematic procedure to qualify whether the test is applicable and can improve the ability of the process. Definition of applicable is able to guide the operator in applying SPC and stabilize the process. Systematic procedure have undergone testing at the casting factory. Systematic procedures otherwise applicable and may improve the ability of the improved process.
