The purpose of this study is to describe the language style contained in the CNNIndonesia.com national news events column in the December 2023 edition. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, in which the data that has been collected is then analyzed and described. The subject of this research is the CNNIndonesia.com national news column events edition December 2023, while the object is the language style contained in the CNNIndonesia.com national news column events edition December 2023. The data collection techniques in this research, namely using documentation techniques, listening techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data analysis used the steps according to Miles and Huberman which consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of the research that has been conducted regarding the language style in the CNNIndonesia.com national news column events in December 2023, namely from four groups of language styles according to Tarigan, 32 language styles were found.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model Predict, Observe, Eksplain (POE) berbantuan media Canva terhadap keterampilan menulis teks fabel pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Cikarang Pusat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-exsperimental dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan yang menggunakan model pembelajaran POE berbantuan media Canva dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Cikarang Pusat yang berjumlah 58 siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan tes dan observasi, sedangkan analisis data dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan seragkaian uji statistick, mencakup, uji normalitas, homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis menerapkan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 27. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata hasil posttest keterampilan menulis teks fabel setelah diterapkan model predict, observe, explain lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata hasil pretest sebelum diterapkan model predict, observe, explain. Nilai rata-rata pretest yang diperoleh sebelum diterapkan model predict, observe, explain yaitu 48,69. Setelah dilakukan tindakan dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran predict, observe, explain, maka diperoleh nilai rata-rata posttest yaitu 83,69. Pernyataan diatas disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran predict, observe, explain yang diterapkan pada pembelajaan Bahasa Indonesia berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis teks fabel pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Cikarang Pusat.Kata kunci: Predict Observe Explain, Canva, Menulis, Teks Fabel

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh metode PQRST (Preview, Question, Read, Summarize, Test) terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks biografi peserta didik SMK Bina Karya 2 Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini adalah Desain quasi eksperimen yaitu Nonequivalent control grup design. Populasi pada penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik kelas X SMK Bina Karya 2 Karawang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas X SMK Bina karya 2 Karawang yang berjumlah 50 orang. Data dalam penelitian ini merupakan skor keterampilan membaca teks biografi sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode PQRST (Preview, Question, Read, Summarize, Test) pada keterampilan membaca pemahaman peserta didik kelas X di SMK Bina karya 2 Karawang. Hasil penelitian pada kelas kontrol yang tidak diberikan perlakukan tetap menggunakan metode konvensional peserta didik memperoleh nilai rata-rata 65.60 ,sedangkan kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakukan dengan diterapkannya metode PQRST memperoleh nilai rata-rata 87.40. Hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan pada pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji independen sampel tes pada taraf siginifikansi (sig) 50% menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode PQRST memberikan pengaruh terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks biografi dengan thitung 0,01 > ttabel. uji N-gain dengan memperoleh kelas eksperimen dengan nilai rata-rata N-gain score yaitu 0,6174 dilihat dari kriteria Gain ternormalisasi masuk dalam kategori sedang, sementara itu pada perhitungan N-gain persen yaitu 61.7413 atau 61,7% masuk dalam kategori cukup efektif. Dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode PQRST terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks biografi peserta didik kelas X SMK Bina Karya 2 Karawang.

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) learning model integrated with the CapCut application in improving students' speaking skills on negotiation text material in Grade X of SMKN 2 Cikarang Barat. The students faced several challenges, including difficulties in structuring and delivering arguments, improper use of body language and intonation, and low confidence when speaking publicly. This research employed a quantitative method using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data were collected through pretests and post tests, supported by documentation and observation. The results indicate that the implementation of the SAVI model with CapCut significantly enhances students' speaking skills compared to conventional teaching methods. This approach not only improves linguistic competence but also fosters creativity, active engagement, and student readiness for real-world communication challenges.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) berbasis media koran digital terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VIII di SMP Budi Mulia Telukjambe Karawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelas: kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model PQ4R dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PQ4R secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen yang melebihi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Model PQ4R terbukti efektif dalam membuat siswa lebih tertarik dan termotivasi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mereka terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi guru dalam memilih metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa.

This study aims to analyze the form and function of editorial text implicature and its use as teaching material in class XII SMA. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the subject of the editorial text of Media Indonesia and the object of the text structure, form and function of the implicature. In this study, data collection was carried out using note-taking techniques. Then the data is categorized and performs discourse analysis. From the research that has been done, it is found that 26 editorial texts are included in conventional implicature forms. Then found 117 implicature function data consisting of 44 representative implicature function data, 56 directive implicature function data, fifteen expressive implicature function data, and two commissive implicature function data. The results of the research on the forms and functions of the implicatures of the editorial text of the October 2021 edition of Media Indonesia and recommendations for teaching editorial texts in class XII SMA are used as teaching materials in the form of handouts.

Education The current curriculum is student-centered and reflects pancasila, as is the Merdeka Curriculum (KURMER). This may be a good choice for you and your family to use with your own hands. The new research used by researchers is quantitative in this research using a similar experimental mode. The design has a control group, but it cannot function fully to control the outside variables that affect the carrying out of experiments. The class chosen by researchers in the xi MPLB 2 class as experiment class and xi to 5 as the control class chosen based on the ability of learners in the low category. The discussion of the results obtained from the research is a quantitative data of the pretest and posttest of experimental and control classes. Data obtained and analyzed using SPSS 29 for Windows. Having a maximum operating capacity of 95 and maximum control of 88, the sedan has a minimum mileage of 77, maximum deviation of 4,725 and 3,039. The reason for this analysis is that the information is different, and people who have the opportunity to use it have the right to use the menu to paraphrase arguments that are not included in the discussion.

Speech acts are an important aspect used in student discussion activities in class. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the use of speech acts spoken by students so that the learning objectives can be achieved. This study aims to describe the types of speech acts of students in discussion activities in class X Indonesian language learning at SMKS Texar Karawang in the 2019/2020 academic year. Research on Analysis of Student Speech in Discussion Activities in Class X Indonesian Language Learning at SMKS Texar Karawang Academic Year 2019/2020 is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were students of class X RPL 3 and X TKR 4 at SMKS Texar Karawang for the 2019/2020 school year in class discussion activites. The object of this research is speech acts in class discussion of class X RPL 3 and X TKR 4 students. The techniques used in collecting data are using field recording techniques and recording techniques. The data analysis technique uses three stages, namely providing data, analyzing data, and presenting the results of data analysis. The research results can be described as follows. First, there are several types of speech acts found. Based on the objective of the act from the speaker’s point of view, it is found that the speech acts of locus, illocution, and perlocution are found. Locus speech acts include the form of news, questions and orders. Illocutionary speech acts include assertive, directive, expressive, commissive and declarative illocution. The types of speech acts that predominantly emerge from the students speech are the locus of speech acts in the form of commands, questions and assertive illocution. This type of speech act stands out and is widely used by students in discussions to ask, command, inform, state, defend, argue, suggest, say thank you, say hello, offer, do something and make people interested.
