Abstract

The central intention of this study was to analyze the English teachers’ strategies in teaching speaking and reading comprehension skills in SMPN 1 Selong. It was conducted to get detailed information about the students’ responses toward their teachers’ strategies in teaching speaking and reading comprehension skills. This study employed a qualitative research design. Necessary data were gathered using open-ended question, classroom observation, interview, and questionnaire. The result of this study revealed that the three teachers applied teaching speaking and reading comprehension skills strategies in three stages; Pre-stages, Whilst-stages and Post-Stages. From the three teachers observed, they employed various stategies in each stage with different reasons. In general the students’ responses toward their teachers’ strategies in teaching speaking and reading comprehensions skills were good enough as their instructions were clear and understandable. Based on those finding, it can be concluded that the English teachers need to increase their knowledge and experience in order to understand the concept and reasons in using the strategies for teaching speaking and reading comprehension. This study recommended that English teachers should have awareness to the significance in choosing the appropriate strategies for teaching speaking and reading comprehension skills. So that the learning process can run effectively.keyword : Strategy, Speaking, Reading

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan servis atas dengan sasaran tetap dan servis atas dengan sasaran berubah-ubah terhadap ketepatan servis atas pada siswa putra ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja Tahun 2014. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan ?the modified pre test post test group design?. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 30 orang ketepatan servis atas diukur dengan tes servis dari Nurhasan (2001: 170). Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini diperoleh dari pengukuran variabel terikat yaitu ketepatan melakukan servis atas. Teknik analisis data mengunakan uji-t independen dengan taraf signifikansi ? = 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini (1) pelatihan servis atas dengan sasaran tetap berpengaruh terhadap ketepatan servis atas, dengan hasil thit = 36,534 > t tab 2,145 , (2) pelatihan servis atas dengan sasaran berubah-ubah berpengaruh terhadap ketepatan servis atas, dengan hasil thit =20,840 > t tab 2,145 , (3) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh pelatihan servis atas dengan sasaran tetap dan pelatihan servis atas dengan sasaran berubah-ubah terhadap ketepatan servis atas, dengan hasil thit = 3,467 > t tab 2,048. Pelatihan servis atas dengan sasaran berubah-ubah memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik dibanding pelatihan servis atas dengan sasaran tetap terhadap ketepatan servis atas, dilihat dari hasil rata-rata pelatihan servis atas dengan sasaran berubah-ubah = 10,8 > pelatihan servis atas dengan sasaran tetap = 9,07 Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa: (1) ada pengaruh pelatihan servis atas dengan sasaran tetap terhadap ketepatan servis atas (2) ada pengaruh pelatihan servis atas dengan sasaran berubah-ubah terhadap ketepatan servis atas (3) ada perbedaan pengaruh pelatihan servis atas dengan sasaran tetap dan sasaran berubah-ubah terhadap ketepatan servis atas.Kata Kunci : servis atas dengan sasaran tetap, servis atas dengan sasaran berubah-ubah, ketepatan servis atas bola voli This study aimed at investigating the effect of upper serve coaching with constant target and upper serve coaching with inconstant target toward the upper service?s accuracy of male students? members of volleyball extracurricular at SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja in the academic year 2014. The design of this study was quasi experimental with design the modified pre test post test group design. The subjects of the study were 30 students. Those 30 students? upper services were measured by service test from Nurhasan (2001: 170). The data collection was obtained by counting dependent variable to the upper service?s accuracy. The data analysis used technique t-test independen at significant level ? = 0, 05. The result of this study showed that (1) there was an effect of upper serve coaching with constant target the training toward the upper service?s accuracy, in which thit = 36,534 > ttab = 2,145, (2) there was an effect of upper serve coaching with inconstant target toward the upper service?s accuracy, in which thit = 20,840 > ttab = 2,145, (3) there was a difference on effect of upper serve coaching with constant target and upper serve coaching with inconstant target toward the upper service?s accuracy, in which thit = 2,599 > t tab 2,048. upper serve coaching with inconstant target a better effect than of upper serve coaching with constant target on the ability upper service?s accuracy. Abstract

Abstrak: Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswadalam lompat jauh gaya jongkok yang disebabkan oleh faktor guru dan faktorsiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah denganmenggunakan media kardus dapat meningkatkan kemampuan lompat jauh gayajongkok. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelasdengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan hasilbelajar lompat jauh gaya jongkok yang cukup baik, yaitu pada siklus I dengannilai rata-rata 73,29%, jadi peningkatannya sebesar 14,65%. Sedangkan nilai rataratapada siklus II adalah 80,67, jadi peningkatannya sebesar 26,20%. yangdilakukan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan Lompat jauh gaya jongkok telahdirencanakan dengan baik sehingga dapat membuat siswa aktif karena didukungoleh adanya motivasi dalam melakukan pembelajaran lompat kardus.Kata Kunci: Lompat Jauh, Media Kardus, Hasil BelajarAbstract: About problem in this research is its low learned yielding student insquat styled broad jump one because of factor teacher and student factor. To theeffect of observational it is subject to be know if by use of hardboard media canincrease broad jump ability inspires squat. This research is done by use of actionresearch brazes with sample amount as much 30 students. analisis's result pointsout to usufruct broad jump studying inspires squat that passably, which is on i.cycle with average value 73,29%, so step-up it as big as 14,65%. Meanwhileaverage value on cycle II. is 80,67 , so step-up it as big as 26,20%. one that didby teacher in increase squat style Broad Jump were plotted with everyconsideration so can make active student because supported by mark sensemotivation in do learning to jump hardboard.Keywords: Broad Jump, Hardboard Media, Studying Result

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat tentang Sipalayyang dan untuk mengetahui upaya-upaya yang dilakukan untuk bisa menekan terjadinya Sipalayyang di desa Samasundu kecamatan Limboro kabupaten Polewali Mandar.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif, dengan populasi 1612 orang dan sampelnya sebanyak 20 orang, penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan tehnik Random Sampling  dan Purposive Sampling, dengan tehnik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, angket dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah tehnik analisis data persentase.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat mengenai Sipalayyang di Desa Samasundu Kecamatan Limboro Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, ternyata merupakan suatu perbuatan yang sangat tidak baik dan tidak diharapkan terjadi dalam suatu keluarga. Walaupun sebenarnya mereka yang telah melakukan Sipalayyang sangat meyakini bahwa Sipalayyang itu terjadi karena sudah takdir mereka. Dan upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh keluarga dan masyarakat untuk mencegah terjadinya Sipalayyang yaitu : memberikan kebebasan kepada anak dan tidak ada pengekangan, saling menjaga kehormatan keluarga dan diri pribadi, penetapan peraturan beserta sangksinya, dan sangksi yang diberikan berupa denda dan kurungan, memberi penyuluhan hukum adat dan penyuluhan tentang UU No. 1 Tahun 1974 tentang perkawinan, serta  membentuk suatu tim yang menangani masalah Sipalayyang.Kata Kunci : SIPALAYYANG

Abstract

This research was done in order to analyze the variable effect (X1) namely Quality of Product to variable (Y) namely Purchasing Decision, variable effect (X2) namely Brand Image to variable (Y) namely Purchasing Decision, and variable effect (X1) namely Quality of Product and variable (X2) namely Brand Image to variable (Y) namely Purchasing Decision. This research was done by using a Survey Method. The population in this research were the use cosmetic produc Wardah in Varia Store Tangerang, taking of sample was done by Incidental Sampling technique, and the amount is 100 respondents. Whereas the data analysis was done by associative analysis, Validity test, Reability test,Hypotesist test, simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, simple correlation analysis, multiple correlation analysisand coefficient determination (R²). Based on the analysis data which was done in this research, can be concluded that variable (X1) which is Quality of Product give an positive influence and significant impact on variable (Y)which is Purchasing Decision for Variable 89,0% effect (X2) which is Brand Image give an positive influence and significant impact on variable (Y)which is Purchasing Decision 90,0%. And Variable effect(X1) which is Quality of Product and variable (X2) which is Brand Image found positive and significant impact on variable (Y)which is Purchasing Decision for 89,0%. Value of F-count which is 9,179 is more than value of F-table which is 3,090. The result is Ho refused and Ha accepted. Whereas the residual is influenced by the other variable which didn’t researched in this research.

Abstract

Islamic law is a set of laws born of Islam as a benchmark of the legality of a servant's deeds. There is no Muslim act as complex as anything apart from aspects of Islamic law. Thus, Islamic law will always be present to be a solution to the complexity of life's problems faced by humans. In reality, a Muslim not only finds the complexity of problematics in the aspects of the reality of life, but also occurs in the process of istinbath Islamic law itself. So in the process istinbath, Islamic law that should be a solution precisely be the manipulation of Islamic law itself. The complexity of the istinbath process of Islamic law itself can be found in a concept called hiilah.
