Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of nutritious food-based pop-up book learning media for children aged 4-6 years at PAUD Ar-Rahman Bina Insani, Ternate City. This research method uses a research and development (R&D) approach with a learning media design and evaluation method. This media is designed to improve children's knowledge about healthy and nutritious food through an interesting and interactive approach. The development method involves validation by material experts and media experts, as well as trials with children at the PAUD. The findings of this study show that the validation results by material experts showed a score of 80%, indicating that this media is feasible in terms of educational content. Validation by media experts obtained a score of 89.2%, indicating that the media design and visualization are very feasible. Children's responses to this media were very positive with a score of 93.3%, indicating that this media is interesting and improves their understanding of nutrition. This study concludes that nutritious food-based pop-up books are effective in teaching nutritional concepts in a fun and interesting way. This media can be an innovative solution to improve nutrition education in PAUD and is recommended for use in the early childhood education curriculum. Further development and long-term studies are needed to assess the impact of this media on children's eating habits in more depth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of simple trial methods in science learning in IT Kindergarten Citra Ummat and PAUD Arum Melati Tidore Island City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, which is natural, because the object developed is what it is, not manipulation, and the presence of researchers has no influence on the object. The data sources in this study are teachers and children in Citra Ummat IT Kindergarten and Arum Melati PAUD. The collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. Research Results The implementation of simple experimental methods in science learning is carried out through several stages, namely: 1) Selection of topics or themes and sub-themes for simple science experiment activities that will be carried out by the way teachers discuss with colleagues or fellow teachers. 2) Objects / Tools and materials or learning media used in introducing science are concrete or real objects. 3) methods used by teachers to introduce science, namely: experimental methods (experiments), demonstrations, questions and answers, telling stories / conversations, field trips and video-based learning. 4) The role of teachers in simple science experiment activities is as facilitator, companion, observer, planner and evaluator. 5) The role of children in the implementation of simple science experiments is that children as observers, inventors and investigators. 6) The results of science experiment activities include cognitive, affective and skill aspects. 7) The process of learning science through simple experiments, namely initial activities in the form of perception, experimental implementation and evaluation activities.

Abstract

Simple Science Experiment Training for early childhood children for PAUD teachers was carried out based on the results of initial observations, namely the teacher's lack of knowledge about science activities or activities that can stimulate the development of early childhood children, especially cognitive ones. This activity aims to provide information and practice directly to teachers and children about simple science experiments with children. The method used in this service activity is the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method. When carrying out simple science experiment activities, teachers and children take part in the process of observing, discussing changes that occur in the process of simple science experiments, drawing conclusions and providing motivation to each other in science experiment activities

Abstract

This study analyses the links between students' Information and Communication Technology (ICT) abilities, parental role, and learning Independence in North Maluku, an archipelagic region of Indonesia characterized by poor technical infrastructure. By implementing a quantitative, cross-sectional approach, data were collected from 303 high school students using validated measures of ICT abilities, parental involvement, and learning independence. Multiple regression research found that ICT skills and parental role combined account for 44% of the variance in learning independence. ICT abilities emerged as a robust predictor (β = .464, p .001) of learning independence, underlining the essential significance of digital literacy in supporting autonomous learning practices, particularly in technologically impoverished locations. The parental role also revealed a substantial impact (β = .295, p .001), showing the persistent importance of family support in the educational process, especially in technology-enhanced learning contexts. These findings have substantial implications for educational policy and practice in archipelagic and technologically challenged countries, highlighting the necessity for focused ICT skill development programs and attempts to improve parental involvement in technology-mediated learning.

Abstract

Pembentukan karakter merupakan upaya-upay yang dirancang dan dilaksankan secara sistematis untuk membentuk karakter siswa, agar dapat memahami nilai-nilai perilaku manusia yang berhubungan dengan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, diri sendiri, sesame manusia, lingkungan dan kebangsaan. Pembentukan nilai-nilai karakter siswa tersebut dapat terwujud dalam pikiran, sikap, perasaan, perkataan dan perbuatan berdasarkan norma-norma agama, hokum, tata krama, budaya, dan adat istiadat. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektifitas pembentukan nilai-nilai karakter siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di SMP AlKhairat Kota Ternate.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, yang dilakukan pada Kelas VIII di SMP Alkhairat Kota Ternate. Instrument yang digunakan adalah Angket Tanggapan siswa pada guru IPA dengan 20 butir soal yang di dalam angket tersebut sudah menggambarkan tentang pembentukan nilai-nilai karakter siswa. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan rumus efektifitas dan Nilai komponen dalam pembentukan karakter siswa.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa efektifitas pembentukan nilai-nilai karakter siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas VIII SMP Alkairat Kota Ternate memiliki jumlah rata-rata pada pembentukan nilai-nilai karakter berjunlah 51 dengan kriteria sangat efektif dan tanggapan siswa terhadap guru IPA diantaranya untuk tingkat presentasinya berjumlah 100% dari total 16 respon. Pembentukan nilai-nilai karakter siswa kelas VIII di SMP Alkhairat Kota Ternate pada pembelajaran IPA menunjukan tingkat sangat efektif.

Abstract

Pelatihan terintegrasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas profesional guru MAN 2 Kota Tidore dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran lintas mata pelajaran yang berbasis nilai keislaman, pendekatan pedagogi holistik, konseling Islami, dan literasi numerasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action and Research (PAR) melalui tahapan identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, refleksi, dan tindak lanjut. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan guru menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang mengintegrasikan aspek spiritual, emosional, dan logis secara kontekstual. Guru juga mulai membentuk komunitas praktisi sebagai wadah kolaborasi dan pertukaran praktik baik. Evaluasi kualitatif melalui observasi, refleksi, dan diskusi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berdampak positif terhadap kesiapan guru dalam menghadapi tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Rekomendasi dari kegiatan ini mencakup replikasi model pelatihan, pendampingan berkelanjutan, serta dokumentasi praktik baik sebagai bagian dari transformasi pendidikan Islam yang integratif dan kontekstual.
