Abstract

The awareness of job providers to employ people with disabilities is directly proportional to the participation of persons with disabilities in the formal work sector which is relatively low. Another problem faced by persons with disabilities is a negative stigma attached to them. This research was conducted to find out persuasive communication conducted on the Advocacy of LSM Saujanas Public Relations, related to elements of communicators, messages, and audiences involved in persuasive communication. The research method used in this research is a case study with qualitative analysis techniques. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, observation, and documentation. Researchers conducted data analysis based on Flow Analysis Models. Based on the results, there were stages of persuasive communication undertaken including the preparation of communicators, delivery of messages, the use of online and offline media in delivering messages, the behavioral changes and evaluation. The LSM Saujana used the central route in persuasive communication that was appropriate to support advocacy. The findings suggest the institution focus on messages delivered to the target audience, starting with raising awareness and focusing on behavioral change.

Abstract

This study describes the process of media relations at the Holding Company of FOOD SOE ID FOOD. Judging from the media monitoring scoring award assessed by the Ministry of SOEs, ID FOOD was ranked first for the fertilizer and food cluster in November 2022. ID FOOD also set a target for media monitoring scoring, namely to be ranked first or second in the fertilizer and food cluster. As a Holding company of food SOE, ID FOOD has a lot of publicity which is evident from ID FOOD's scoring position, which is in first and second place. This study aims to determine the media relations process carried out by the Holding Company of FOOD SOE ID FOOD to obtain publicity in the period January 2022 - January 2023. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, using interview data collection techniques. This research shows the results that ID FOOD carries out media relations activities such as the distribution of press releases, personal approaches to the media, as well as media visits which are carried out in order to maintain good relations between the media and the company. Process media relations, from planning to evaluation, has been carried out by ID FOOD, to get publicity about the company's performance in external media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of public relations advocacy through empowerment programs for persons with disabilities. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation and researchers used flow analysis models for data analysis techniques. The result of this research is that there are principles used in the empowerment program, namely using a twin-track approach or a two-way approach, people with disabilities, and job providers. The empowerment program starts from planning by conducting a situation analysis. The form of implementation of the empowerment program consists of job readiness training, strengthening alumni careers, digital training, and panel discussions. Suggestions in this research in the future Saujana NGO can carry out public categorization specifically so that public needs and interests can be met. As well as optimizing collaboration with communities and NGOs that can help implement the value of inclusion for persons with disabilities, especially in terms of accessibility of job opportunities.
