Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi melalui pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual (contextual teaching and learning) peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri Sumatera Selatan. Subjek dalam penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini adalah peserta didik kelas X.2 SMA Negeri Sumatera Selatan tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I ketuntasan peserta didik dalam menulis teks eksposisi melalui pendekatan kontekstual di Kelas X.2 SMAN Sumatera Selatan sebanyak 14 orang (56%). Sedangkan, pada siklus II ketuntasan peserta didik dalam menulis teks eksposisi melalui pendekatan kontekstual sebanyak 23 orang (92%). Jadi, ada peningkatan capaian rata-rata dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 14 poin dan jumlah peserta didik yang lulus meningkat 36%. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Menulis, Teks Eksposisi, Pendekatan Kontekstual Abstract-- This study aims to improve the ability to write exposition texts through a contextual teaching and learning approach for grade X students of SMA Negeri Sumatra Selatan. The subjects in this class action research (CAR) were students in class X.2 of SMAN Sumatera Selatan for the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that in the first cycle of students' mastery in writing exposition texts through a contextual approach in grade X.2 of SMAN Sumatera Selatan, there were 14 students (56%). Meanwhile, in the second cycle, the completeness of students in writing exposition texts through a contextual approach was 23 students (92%). So, there is an increase in average achievement from the first cycle to the second cycle by 14 points and the number of students who pass increases by 36%. Abstract

Film sebagai sebuah karya sastra mengandung berbagai makna baik dalam bentuk ikon, indeks, ataupun simbol. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam tentang menganalis semiotika dalam film Indonesia yang berjudul Rumput Tetangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk menguraikan tanda dalam semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce yang meliputi ikon, indeks, dan simbol pada film Rumput Tetangga. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah video film Rumput Tetangga karya Guntur Soehardjanto yang diunduh melalui internet. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik studi pustaka, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis konten, yang berusaha menganalisis dokumen untuk diketahui isi dan makna yang terkandung dalam dokumen tersebut. Macam dokumen antara lain karangan tertulis, gambar, grafik, lukisan,  kartun,  bografi,  fotografi, laporan,  buku teks,  surat kabar,  film,  drama,  buku harian,  majalah,  bulletin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tanda-tanda sinematik atau film yang signifikan dan bersifat struktural dalam film Rumput Tetangga. Selain itu hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya kajian semiotika makna dari ikon, indeks, dan simbol dalam film dapat dipahami dengan baik.

Abstract

Kajian terhadap unsur-unsur budaya serta nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter memiliki urgensi yang tinggi, karena keduanya sangat berkaitan dengan pembentukan karakter masyarakat suatu bangsa, dalam hal ini bangsa Indonesia. Pemahaman mendalam mengenai budaya nasional dapat memperkuat identitas karakteristik bangsa Indonesia yang dikenal santun, beretika, lemah lembut, dan menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kemanusiaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan unsur-unsur budaya dan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam cerita rakyat Sumatera Barat berjudul Legenda Danau Kembar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data utama berasal dari buku cerita rakyat Legenda Danau Kembar yang berasal dari Sumatera Barat. Data penelitian berupa kutipan-kutipan dalam bentuk kata atau kalimat yang terdapat dalam teks cerita tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerita rakyat Legenda Danau Kembar mengandung berbagai unsur budaya dan nilai pendidikan karakter yang beragam. Temuan ini memperkuat posisi cerita rakyat sebagai bagian dari karya sastra yang berperan penting dalam memperkuat identitas bangsa melalui penyampaian unsur budaya dan nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung di dalamnya.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the function and. The meaning of guritan oral literature in the Besemah tribe community in Muaradua Kisam. South Oku is reviewed and studied by literary anthropology, especially aspects of religious language and customs. This research uses the method, descriptive qualitative analysis. Data collection techniques in this research user observation techniques, interview techniques, SLC (Simak Libat Cakap) listening techniques, recording techniques and not-taking techniques. Data sources in this research include aspects and primary data, namely data in the form of videos of oral literature from the people of Besemah Muaradua Kisam Oku South in traditional events. Apart from that, other sources of data are secondary data, namely data sourced from books and journals relate to the problems in the research. Based on research conducted, there are 47 poems which are included in language aspect, 27 poems which are included in the religious aspect, and 13 poems which are included in the customs aspect. Abstract

Literary texts are artistic products that write down the activities, behavior and social attitudes of society. Because of this, literature is seen as a photocopy of the reality of life. The aim of this research is to describe human relations in the literary novel Hari Mulai Terang by Arafat Nur. Human relations are human relations with social life including nature, God and oneself. Descriptive qualitative methods were used in this research with listening, reading and note-taking techniques. The analysis uses data content analysis which shows human relations. The results of the findings and analysis include: (a) human relations with themselves; (b) human relations with fellow humans; (c) human relations with nature; and (iv) human relationship with God. These findings encourage the existence of a social circle of figures who live in the local environment.

Abstract

News writing is a fact-based and actual writing activity based on actual events aimed at conveying information to the audience. Therefore, learning news writing material is poorly understood by students because there is still a lack of interactive students in learning and discussing. Based on this, the problem in this study is whether there is an effect of the think pair share model on the ability to write news of VII grade students of SMP PGRI 1 Palembang. The purpose of this research is to know and describe the effect of think pair share model on the ability to write news of seventh grade students of SMP PGRI 1 Palembang. The results showed that on the average value of the test results, where the class that used the think pair share learning model the average value of the students' news writing test results was x =81.23, while in the class that used the usual learning model (conventional) the average value of the news writing test results was x =62.65, from the analysis obtained thiutng, = 6.56 and ttabel = 4.03 with db = 48 the critical t price is located at alpha = 0.05, then the value of tcount> ttable = 6.56> 4.03, which means the application of the think pair share model has a significant positive effect on the ability to write news.

Abstract

Study This aiming to: (1) Know implementation method learning four square writing techniques and using card media illustrated in increase ability student Class V of Sembawa 9th State Elementary School write text exposition; (2) Knowing the magnitude improvement ability write text exposition student Class V of Sembawa 9th State Elementary School through implementation method learning four square writing techniques and using card media illustrated. Type of research This is study actions carried out in 2 cycles and each cycle consists of from two meetings with allocation time every 2x35 minute meeting. Research This carried out in class V of SDN 9 Sembawa Regency Banyuasin . Data collection techniques are carried out through writing test activity text exposition. Research results This show that: (1) Through implementation method learning four square writing techniques and using card media illustrated ability student Class V of SDN 9 Sembawa write text exposition can increased; (2) The size percentage improvement ability student Class V of SDN 9 Sembawa write text exposition from implementation test in cycle I to cycle to II is 92.30%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the poetry writing skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 12 Betung, Banyuasin Regency, through the use of picture media as a visual stimulus in Indonesian language learning. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. Each cycle comprised four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 23 fifth-grade students at SDN 12 Betung in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through poetry writing tests, student activity observation sheets, and learning process documentation.The results demonstrated significant improvement in poetry writing skills across cycles. The mean score increased from 63.70 in the pre-cycle (13% mastery rate) to 71.52 in Cycle I (48% mastery rate), and further rose to 83.26 in Cycle II, achieving a mastery rate of 96%. Student learning engagement also improved markedly, as evidenced by increased active participation, enthusiasm, and the ability to develop ideas and imagination through picture media.This study is limited to a single classroom in one primary school; therefore, generalization of findings should be approached with caution. Practically, the findings recommend that teachers in primary education integrate picture media as a contextual and engaging strategy for creative writing instruction. Socially, this approach has the potential to cultivate early literary appreciation among elementary school students. The original contribution of this study lies in providing empirical evidence of the effectiveness of picture media in improving poetry writing skills within the underresearched primary school context of Banyuasin Regency. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning berbantuan media gambar berseri dalam meningkatkan keterampilan siswa kelas V SDN 10 Sembawa menulis teks prosedur; (2) Mengetahui besarnya peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas V SDN 10 Sembawa melalui penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning berbantuan media gambar berseri. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan dengan alokasi waktu setiap pertemuan 2x35 menit. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN 10 Sembawa Kabupaten Banyuasin. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kegiatan test menulis teks prosedur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan menulis yang signifikan dari pratindakan hingga siklus II. Nilai rata-rata pratindakan sebesar 63,8% meningkat menjadi 72,6% pada siklus I, dan mencapai 85% pada siklus II. Ketuntasan belajar juga mengalami peningkatan, yakni 16 siswa (64%) pada siklus I dan 23 siswa (92%) pada siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan CTL berbantuan media gambar berseri efektif dalam mengoptimalkan keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa.
