Abstract

Implementasi teknik 3N diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerpen pada mahasiswa. Niteni dalam bahasa Indonesia berarti memperhatikan, mengamati, dan menyimak, sedangkan niroake artinya menirukan , dan nambahi artinya menambahkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam membuat cerpen sebagai hasil dari implementasi teknik Niteni, Niroake, dan Nambahi (3N) Ki Hajar Dewantara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Proses penelitian tindakan terdiri dari empat tahap. Keempat tahap ini adalah (1) tahap perencanaan, (2) tahap tindakan, (3) tahap pengembangan, dan (4) tahap refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 6B yang berjumlah 43 mahasiswa. Aspek yang dinilai dalm menulis cerpen adalah alur atau plot, tokoh dan penokohan, latar, gaya bahasa, sudut pandang, dan tema cerita. Hasil penelitian dari prasiklus hingga ke siklus kedua mengalami peningkatan. Pada tahap observasi, mahasiswa rata-rata telah mengetahui teori menulis cerpen hal ini berdasarkan dari pengamatan yang mencapai 97, 27%. Rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh pada prasiklus adalah70,0, siklus pertama rata-rata nilai adalah 76,6, dan siklus kedua rata-rata nilai mahasiswa adalah 81, 0. Dari keenam aspek menulis cerpen, gaya bahasa memperoleh nilai terendah dan yang tertinggi adalah mengenai tema cerita.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that the learning process conducted by the fifth-grade teacher at SD Negeri 24 Sembawa, Banyuasin, still relies on the lecture method to deliver material. This type of learning leads to a lack of enthusiasm and motivation among students in participating in classroom activities. The aim of this study is to examine student engagement in learning through picture media and to assess the improvement in student learning outcomes. This research is a Classroom Action Research developed in four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 25 fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 24 Sembawa. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was conducted using observation and student learning outcome tests. The results show that by using picture media, the percentage of student engagement in Cycle I was as follows: 64% (16 students) were actively involved, 24% (6 students) were passively involved, and 12% (3 students) were not involved. The percentage of student learning outcomes showed that 64% (16 students) achieved mastery, while 36% (9 students) did not. In Cycle II, the results indicated that 88% (22 students) were actively involved, 12% (3 students) were passively involved, and 0% were not involved, with the percentage of learning outcomes achieving mastery at 88% (22 students) and 12% (3 students) not achieving mastery. Although some students did not meet the expected targets, the overall percentage of success reached the predetermined target, leading to the conclusion that the research would be halted and not continued into the next cycle.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji: (1) sosiologi pengarang; (2) sosiologi karya sastra; (3) sosiologi pembaca. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Jejak sang Pencerah karya Didik L. Hariri. Teknik pengumpulan data mempergunakan teknik studi pustaka, membaca dan menganalisis. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi, membandingkan penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dengan penelitian sekarang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa novel Jejak sang Pencerah karya Didik L. Hariri mengandung aspek sosiologi sastra berupa sosiologi pengarang, sosiologi karya sastra dan sosiologi pembaca. Aspek sosiologi pengarang berhubungan dengan sosiologi tokoh utama, seorang pemimpin dan seorang pendidik. Aspek sosiologi karya sastra diungkap secara lengkap antara lain: aspek sosial religius, sosial ekonomi, sosial politik, sosial pendidikan dan sosial etika. Aspek sosiologi pembaca diungkap tentang dampak sosial bagi masyarakat pembaca. Kata kunci: sosiologi pengarang, karya sastra, pembaca

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks berita dengan model problem based learning dan media gambar pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus memiliki tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Waktu penelitian dimulai bulan Juli 2023 sampai dengan Agustus 2023. Objek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII.3 SMP Negeri 1Tanjung Batu dengan jumlah 32 siswa. Dalam melakukan pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model problem based learning dan media gambar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks berita siswa kelas VIII.3 SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu dengan hasil yang dicapai pada siklus 1 rata-rata 70,13 dengan tingkat ketuntasan sebesar 43,8% dari 32 siswa, Sedangkan pada siklus 2, terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata menjadi 79,43 dan tingkat ketuntasan belajarnya mencapai 87,5% dari 32 siswa. Artinya terjadi peningkatan sebesar 50%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the psychological conflicts contained in the novel Arini Masih Ada Kereta yang Lewat by Mira W. The research method used is descriptive method. The data source in the study was the novel Arini Masih Ada Kereta yang Lewat by Mira W. consisting of 232 pages, a book thickness of 20 cm, published in 2018 by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama. The collection technique uses literature study techniques, reading techniques, and note taking techniques. While the data analysis technique used content analysis techniques. Based on the research results, it shows that the psychological conflicts built in the novel Arini Masih Ada Kereta yang Lewat by Mira W are in the form of internal conflict and external conflict. Internal conflict, namely the main character Arini felt a raging feeling shortly after the feeling of happiness when she saw the baby she had given birth to. Then, the external conflict, namely the character Arini knows a reality that Helmi said, such as a slap for Arini, a child who he thought had died was still alive and Helmi who took care of him.

Abstract

Grade 5 students of SD Negeri 88 Ogan Komering Ulu do not yet have a short story writing module. For this reason, the purpose of this study was to describe the results of the development of the short story writing module by applying the explicit instruction learning model. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 88 Ogan Komering Ulu. The type of research conducted is Research and Development (R&D). The steps taken in this research include research and information gathering, product development, validation testing, product revision, and product testing. The subjects of this research are students, Indonesian language teachers, and lecturers as experts. The tools used are textbook reviews, interviews, questionnaires, and validation forms. Data analysis was carried out by analyzing textbooks, analyzing teacher interviews, analyzing product validation from expert instructors, teachers, and students. The results of this study indicate that: 1) only Indonesian text books are used by teachers in teaching while the short story writing module does not yet exist, 2) the explicit instruction learning model in the development of the short story writing module is feasible from the aspects of material, presentation, language, and graphics, and 3) the module entitled Writing Short Stories Based on the Explicit Instruction Learning Model for Elementary School Students in Grade 5 is declared to be able to be used.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to gain a deep understanding of analyzing the hegemony of power and resistance of the Indonesian film entitled Penyalin Cahaya. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method used to analyze the hegemony and resistance as well as the symbols contained in the film Copying Light. Data collection uses literature study, observation, and documentation techniques. The steps used in analyzing films with the theme of sexual harassment are: 1) watching and observing carefully repeatedly every scene and dialogue in the film, 2) classifying data by capturing the scenes of each scene in the film, 3) , analyzing, reading, and recording every scene and dialogue that is considered important, 4) analyzing symbols, 5) analyzing the hegemony and resistance contained in the film Copying Light, 6) making conclusions from the analysis carried out, and 7) compiling a research report. The results of the study show that the behavior experienced by victims of sexual crimes in the film Copying Light is inseparable from the hegemony of power and victims are forced to remain silent from the sexual harassment they experience.

Abstract

The research aims to look at the influence of contextual learning models and audio-visual media based on local wisdom on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language education students at the PGRI University of Palembang. This type of research is quantitative research that uses simple linear regression testing and multiple linear regression testing to answer the hypothesis in the research. The samples in this research were semesters 3A and 3B as experimental classes with 20 students each. This research data collection technique uses test and questionnaire techniques, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study, there is an influence which states that Ho is rejected. Testing the first hypothesis obtained the effect of applying the contextual learning model which obtained a significant value of 0.943. The results of testing the second hypothesis show the influence of audio-visual media based on local wisdom on learning outcomes with a significant value of 0.369. The results of testing the third hypothesis prove that there is an influence of the application of contextual learning models and audio-visual media based on local wisdom on learning outcomes which obtained a significant value of 0.669.

Abstract

Feminist ideology, especially regarding the image of women in literary works, can open up society's views more broadly and comprehensively regarding various gender issues. The aim of this research is to describe the image of the main female character in the Jambi folk tale Legend of the Putri Cermin Cina. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method. Research data in the form of sentence quotations was obtained through reading and note-taking techniques. Next, the data was analyzed using interactive techniques. The results of this research show that the main female character in the Legend of the Chinese Mirror Princess is depicted as a social woman who has high complexity. Judging from her physical image, the main female character is depicted as a beautiful woman, smiling, polite in speaking, and graceful. Judging from the psychological aspect, the main female character is depicted as someone who is soft-hearted and always happy. In her role in the family, the female character is described as careful, agile, diligent, skilled, and devoted to her parents. As for their role in community life, female characters are described as having a high social spirit, being very loved by the community, and having noble character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Penggunaan Bahasa Waria di Kota Prabumulih”. Penelitian in bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud dan makna bahasa waria di kalangan waria Kota Prabumulih. Permasalahan pada penelitian in adalah bagaimana wujud dan makna bahasa waria pada kalangan waria di Kota Prabumulih. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian yakni tuturan para waria di Kota Prabumulih. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa wujud bahasa waria yang ditemukan yakni (1) akronim, yang terbagi lagi menjadi (a) singkatan huruf awal, (b) pemakaian kata yang huruf awalnya sama dengan kata yang diacu, (2) penambahan bunyi di tengah kata penyisipan huruf (dalam hal ini -na dan -nanda) disebut efentesis, (3) istilah acuan, (4) penggunaan istilah-istilah populer. Dari 106 kosakata, setelah dianalisis wujud yang paling banyak yakni wujud istilah acuan dan yang paling sedikit yakni wujud istilah-istilah populer. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan pada pembelajaran bahasa tentang variasi bahasa. Peneliti menyarankan agar peneliti selanjutnya meneliti pada variasi bahasa ke dalam sruang lingkup yang lebih luas pada kalangan lain misalnya pada geng motor atau kalangan lainnya.
