Abstract

Obtaining legal business status is crucial to strengthening the foundation for the sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Karangsong Village, Indramayu Regency, a coastal area. Through a collaborative partnership between the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Negeri Jakarta and the Fisheries and Maritime Affairs Office of Indramayu, including the local government apparatus of Karangsong Village, this program provides comprehensive assistance to MSME actors in acquiring their Business Registration Numbers (NIB). Using systematic observation, in-depth data collection, direct guidance, and socialization throughout the NIB registration process, the program addresses the main challenges related to business legality. This intervention helps improve business legitimacy for MSMEs, operational compliance with government regulations, and access to broader market opportunities. The program affirms the important role of empowering business legality for MSMEs as the foundation for sustainable MSME growth and grassroots economic development.

Abstract

This community service initiative aims to enhance financial literacy and family financial management skills among fishing communities in Karangsong Village, Indramayu Regency, to support the implementation of blue economy principles. Low levels of financial literacy have contributed to the inability of fishers to manage their highly fluctuating incomes, increasing household economic vulnerability, particularly during the lean season. This program involves various activities, including socialization sessions, basic financial record-keeping training, budgeting workshops, education on emergency funds, and improving understanding of access to formal financial services. The outcomes of this initiative include improved knowledge and skills among fishers in managing household finances, developing budgeting habits, adopting basic financial record-keeping practices, and initiating a savings culture. In line with the sustainable development goals of the blue economy, this effort is expected to strengthen the economic resilience of fishing families, reduce their dependency on middlemen, and promote smarter financial behavior.

Abstract

Climate change is a global challenge that impacts various aspects of life, including the education sector. Therefore, teachers play a strategic role in conveying the concepts of climate change mitigation and adaptation to students. This training aims to improve teachers' skills, particularly in understanding climate change prevention strategies that can be implemented in schools. The activity was conducted offline using a lecture method with presenters from within and outside the country. It was attended by teachers from various schools in Jakarta and the surrounding area, allowing participants to directly engage in active discussions with the speakers and other participants. The training's outcomes include improving teachers' understanding of the basic concepts of climate change and mitigation strategies that can be applied in everyday life, encouraging the implementation of environmentally-based learning practices in schools through ongoing mentoring, and developing networks between teachers and educators. This will undoubtedly be even more effective with the support of school facilities and the development of an appropriate curriculum.

Abstract

In the face of uncertain global dynamics, national economic resilience has become a strategic issue that demands a response based on accurate data and information. This study aims to explore the relationship between Economic Intelligence (EI) and Economic Resilience (ER) and to formulate a strategy for optimizing EI as a proactive instrument in mitigating economic risks. Using an exploratory qualitative approach through a systematic literature review, this study analyzes various scientific sources and official institutional reports related to the role of EI in strengthening economic resilience, particularly in Indonesia. The results indicate that optimizing EI plays a crucial role in early crisis detection, supporting evidence-based policymaking, and increasing the resilience of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to economic shocks. However, EI implementation still faces various obstacles such as low data literacy, limited technological infrastructure, and the lack of integration of cross-institutional information systems. Therefore, a comprehensive strategy is needed that encompasses strengthening data infrastructure, developing human resource capacity, reforming data regulations, and intersectoral collaboration. This study provides a conceptual contribution to the development of an EI and ER framework and offers policy recommendations to support resilient, inclusive, and sustainable economic development.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of academic information services provided through the website of the Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Jakarta (www.feb.unj.ac.id). The research approach used was quantitative descriptive using the WebQual 4.0 model which was modified through the addition of the Eas of Use variable from the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) model. A total of 124 respondents consisting of students and lecturers were involved in this study through the distribution of questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results showed that the variables Information Quality and Interaction Quality had a significant influence on user satisfaction, while Usability and Content did not show a statistically significant partial effect. However, simultaneously, the four variables contributed 70.8% to user satisfaction. This study emphasizes the importance of accuracy, trust, and ease of access as the main factors in supporting user satisfaction with website-based academic information services. This research contributes to the development of academic information systems by offering a comprehensive evaluation framework that integrates the WebQual and EUCS models, while also emphasizing the critical roles of information accuracy, user interaction, and ease of access in enhancing user satisfaction thus providing a practical reference for improving the quality of academic websites in higher education institutions in Indonesia.
